Which workouts to "add-on" to my pre order

jane_grace

Cathlete
I'm going to preorder all 4 new DVD's and I'm contemplating adding on 1 of the following:

Low Max
Blast Series 5 day timesaver
Boot Camp & Muscle Endurance

I have the CTX series, Slow and Heavy Series, Rhythmic Step, and Power Hour. It seems that ME is similar to Power Hour, which I love.

However, I enjoy running and probably need some lower impact.

I need to lose fat and I add muscle quickly so which ones will best complement the new DVDs?

Cheers,
-Jane

RE: Which workouts to

If you're looking for low impact, you can't go wrong with Low Max. It's a great workout. The music is good and the choreography isn't too complex. I burn about 500 calories doing this workout. Sometimes I think this workout is getting too easy for me when it starts out but by the time I'm done, I really feel like a get a great workout.

Oh LowMax is a must add IMO.... 1 its low Impact- 2 its super intense if you want it to be - 3 its a great lower blast 4- you can easily make it high impact for those days 5 music is great 6 its the most popular (or 2nd) for Cathe regulars.... Its a regular in all my rotations.:)

Jane...

I agree with those who say LowMax... I burn more calories with that one than all of the IMAXs, it is a real leg burner!!!

RE: Which workouts to

I agree with Low Max- it's a great workout. You can't go wrong ordering it.

How do you "add on" a workout to your preorder? I have already pre-ordered, but would consider adding more to take advantage of the free shipping.

RE: Which workouts to

Jane,

Low max is a great workout, but one of the new dvd,s is a low max
too,
I like bootcamp ,I think it is the best workout, really intens
I know, it,s hard to choose one.

RE: Which workouts to

Have you considered Imax 2? It is by far my favorite workout. You
can easily make it lower impact. I hate to say it, but I get
totally bored with Low Max. It seems too repetitious---I guess I
have a short attention span! Imax 2 has ten cycles, so you don't
do anything for too terribly long. Low Max was the first dvd I
bought of Cathe's, but I never do it now. I like the intensity
of Imax 2, not to mention the fantastic music!! I'm in my forties,
with not-so-strong knees, and Imax 2 never bothers me. I do it
once or twice a week. Of course, I like Muscle Endurance a lot,
too. Take care.

RE: Which workouts to

You are right,Imax 2 is my favorite too but the
Terminator dvd is maybe the best, it,s all in one ,and
if you jump more on cardio and weight ,the workout
will be more intens, and will be great.

You won't be sorry when you get the Lowmax DVD. It is just absolutely awesome! It works the legs hard and gets that heart rate up! I'm bathing in sweat every time I make it to the end of this one (coz I don't always make it to the end - ha ha...but even when I don't, I'm still drenched).
