I am overwhelmed by all the videos!! They all look so good. But I am interested in over all wieght loss, fat burning. Which video or videos are best?

Thanks,
Cindy C;)

We're always ready to spend your money, but first we need a little more info as to your current fitness level, what workout equipment you have at home, past stepping experience, and if you're more interested in cardio, strength or both. Also, are you planning on purchasing vhs or dvd??

Thanks,

Stacy

I exercise on a regular basis. 6 days a week. At home I have a norditrack I use 1 or 2 times a week. I use weights @ 5lbs. a few times a week. I mix this up with walking and biking...etc.
I have never done step exercise before.
In the last few years I have lost 65 lbs. and want to loose maybe 20 or so more. But, I seem to be at a stand still in weight loss. I and now @ 180 lbs and am 5ft 9.
I would be interested in a cardio workout....or what ever would be best to keep loosing weight!!!
I would need a VHS.

Thanks,
Cindy C

Hi. If you havent done step before, Cathe may not necessarily be the one to start with. However some of her earlier step tapes, such as her Wedding video, Step Max, Step Heat and Mega Step Blast have easier choreography. If you are planning on purchasing a step, definitely spend the extra money for the longer club-length step, it can then also double as a weight bench. Cathe does have a non-step tape called Cardio Kicks which is intense but doable. As far as strength goes I would plan on investing in some heavier dumbells, such as 8 and 10 lb dumbells to start with. Many of her tapes also use a barbell, but they can be modified to be used with dumbells. For a total body strength workout I'd recommend Maximum Intensity Strength. It includes both an upper and lower body strength workout than can be done all in one day or split into 2 separate workouts. You simply can start with lighter weights and increase them when you need more of a challenge. Cathe is great to learn good form from. I've been doing MIS for almost 4 years now and still am increasing my weight, definitely a tape to grow with. Another good strength series is her Power Strength series which is a 3 tape set. I dont have her newest tapes yet so I cant comment on those. Hope this helps some, let us know if you have more questions.

Stacy,

Thanks so much for your help. I am going to look into your ideas!
I do want to increase the weights. But, focus on the early step tapes.
