Which to buy first?

I am trying to decide between three different workouts for my first Cathe purchase and need some help deciding. I consider myself an intermediate exerciser and so don't want to choose something that I will master too quickly but also don't want to get something that will be so hard that I will get discouraged. I am also looking for something that will be both fun and motivating.

The three workouts I'm considering are: 1) Basic Step & Body Fusion -- wonder if this one will be challenging enough; 2) Body Blast Timesaver -- this one looks pretty promising but I can't see any clips from it so I'm really looking for someone who has this one to tell me how they like it; or 3) Body Blast Volume I.

This is going to be a birthday present to myself and I plan to rotate it with some existing Firm DVDs I have.

Thanks for any help or input.

I too am new to Cathe and was overwhelmed by the movements on some of them. I bought Basic Step and Body Fusion and I love it. It can be a intermediate if you just raise the step and the weights. I love the short (20 mins) toning segments too. I also got High Step Circuit too and I love that. I saw some didn't like the easier level, but once again, just raise the step heights and the weights. A great gift to yourself I must say. My birthday is in early May and I am going to buy myself some more Cathe.

Thanks - I ended up deciding to go with Basic Step/Body Fusion. I'm sure that you are right about making it more challenging with heavier weights and/or raising the step height... although for me 6 inches is plenty since my knees are a little on the touchy side. I also went and ordered a Versa Tube and Gym ball which I'll need too. Hopefully this will turn out to be a good purchase and I'll be back for more :)

I am looking for Tube Cathe used in HC. Where did you buy Versa Tube?

Thanks

I actually don't know the length of the one that I bought. I went to the Power Systems web site that Cathe lists under the buyer's guide for steps, balls & mats. The equipment was reasonably priced, but the shipping is almost as much as the equipment itself.

Thanks, Maureen.

You said you bought Stey & Body Fusion. How do you like it? What kind of equipments it requires?

I bought High Step Circuit and High Step Advance. I used High Step Circuit once with my regular club step. I felt some awkward because my step is not the right one. I ordered high step and wait for it.

I saw many people talk good things about BS & BF. I am new to Cathe. So I don't know if I should start with that or not.

Thanks

I bought basic step & body fusion but haven't received it yet. I've heard good things and I'm looking forward to trying it out. As I understand it, it's a great workout for someone who is new to Cathe. I also use the FIRM and they use a 14" step in most of their workouts.
