which Cathy DVDs have leg floor work?

On alternate leg days, I want to do something other than squats or lunges. Which DVDs have
leg floor work?

Hi Shereta,

You will need to look for bonus and/or premixes from various DVDs;

  • Leg and Glutes
  • Great Glutes
  • Lower body blast Not sure if standing or mat
  • X-Train Legs
  • Butt and Guts

I may have missed out few of them. I hope someone else chimes in.

Hi Shereta,
in addition to Nathalie's suggestions, there's a lengthy floor leg segment in Gym Style Legs (almost half of the workout is done on the floor using step, ball,resistance band, ankle weights or no equipment). It is a serious workout on its own.

Hi Shereta,
if you are wanting some floor work type stuff you might think of the LowImpact series Turbo Barre workout. I have recently been doing a lot of old FIRMS which has some killer floor work, but it seems to me that Turbo Barre has a lot of work like that only standing. Very tough, controlled stuff with exercises at the barre that I have been doing on the floor with FIRM. It might be just the thing you want.

I like floor work but not on my hands and knees if it is pizza presses and stuff. That kills my back unless I use a heavy ankle weight and do less reps. Less time being in that position! [emoji15]
But I love doing old fashion leg lifts on side and the inner thigh lifts and bridges for the butt and hams. Those are old but are effective! Even more so when u add the weights on ankles.
I can't weight to see what Cathe will do on the new DVD that is called to the mat. It is leg work on floor!! Yea!! I hope she spends less time on hands and knees however. Lol
