Hi Linda,
I did it. I have been doing mostly (almost all) Cathe workouts since January.
I lost some body fat but very little weight; maybe a couple pounds. (I am at a healthy weight, am a natural endomorph: hard to lose fat & hard to gain a lot of muscle). My clothes are more loose. Gained a tad more muscle definition. Look a bit leaner. Much, much increased endurance and lifting ability.
But I can't answer this without mentioning the mental and even emotional improvements I've experienced, and also that I learned some things about myself that I needed to learn. Good things. My mind seemed to be sharper, my mood elevated, had a better attitude and such. When I finished it, I felt like I could do just about anything I set my mind to do.
If you want any advice at all, I would offer a bit: have plenty of healthful snacks on hand, as your appetite may increase. (Mine did). If you need to modify or rest, do so! I'm sure Cathe wrote it with the knowledge that we are smart enough to know what our minds and bodies need. If you feel like you need more heavy weight work, some people added some. I added some PUB, but I was having withdrawls...
But just as written, I feel like it is a great way to just shock your body out of a plateau or just to change the way it responds. It did this for me, and I am seeing better results now from just regular workouts than I've had since I first started with Cathe. It kinda made everything seem "new" to me again.
HTH, Julie
