Where is autumn?

It has been a hot, muggy oppressive September (and the whole summer) here and the long range forecast suggests it will saty that way at least until the end of the month. Is anyone experiencing autumn type weather yet? I am looking forward to a cooldown.
 
No, It totally sucks here in Maryland. It's hot, muggy, steamy, And did I day HOT. I love the fall and can't wait for a nice cool breeze to blow through my windows. All week the weather man has called for a cool front that never came. Even today I thought ok the cool front will be here and I can wear my Nike long pants and a long sleeve T. Well, It's 7:30a.m. and 72 already. Hopefully tomorrow. Cool Front tomorrow, that is what they are saying now. Ok I'm done having a fit now. Karen

I can't wait for the cool down and the leaves to start changing here! It's as hot here as it was in July. Peak season for fall foliage here is October. I don't know if this is going to have an effect on it or not. I surely hope not.
How about where you are do you get the changing colors? It's my favorite time of year. Fall colors, knowing the holidays are around the corner, and here I sit sweating. Yuck. x(

Here in central Indiana it is crisp and cool. Yesterday it was a high of 73, but the day before was 87, so I don't know if only one day of fall weather counts. Since it is Indiana, it could easily be 90 before the weekend is over.

It finally started cooling down at night here. It makes sleeping so much better...:)...the days are still a bit warm (80 or so) but no more yukky 100's. I do feel Fall....:)...Carole
