<--has been doing laundrymax, cleanmax, and relaxmax today

<--thinks you should just grab what you need from laundry basket or drying rack until empty
<--may take a nap...
 
<--- tells Lorie (and anyone else) that a pumpkin roll is a thin pumpkin cake that you slather with cream cheese frosting and roll up like a jelly roll
<--- wishes Lorie luck on her race tomorrow
<--- is excited for Sophie's birthday tomorrow:)

<---has a ton of errands to run :p
<---groans that her calf muscles are KILLING her
<---says after sitting for a while, she can bearly walk and her left leg will not go straight
<---thinks she needs to do some serious stretching tonight - ugh...

<---is back home from picking up DS
<---says the traffic wasn't too bad
<---now has pumpkin roll in the frig, pecan pie and apple pie in the basement and cranberry orange bread in the freezer
<---will be lonely at work tomorrow while you are all off with friends and family :(
<---will be with friends in the evening :)
 
<---has had a traumatic afernoon :(
<---left work early because she had a ton of errands to run and things to do at home
<---went to four different stores and limped the whole time because of her sore calves
<---thought nothing of it though cuz she had worked out pretty hard on Monday and her DH was sore too
<---says that on the way home, her legs starting hurting worse and worse
<---finally got home and went to get out of the car and couldn't stand up
<---says her calves had swollen on the way home and had tightened so much that she couldn't bring her heels down to touch the ground
<---tried to stand up again and still couldn't do it and had to sit in car for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do
<---finally burst out in tears because she couldn't walk or get out of car - eventually crawled into the house (thank goodness she has a garage)
<---called DH in tears and then called her mother for help - mom came over and got her stuff out of the car for her
<---still cannot walk and hasn't been able to do ANYTHING for tomorrow
<---has spent the entire afternoon crying and wondering if she should go to the hospital
<---wonders if anyone has had anything like this happen to them before? It's like the muscles have completely locked and she basically cannot unbend her legs or flex her feet :'(
<---is in a LOT of pain and admits to having bummed some pain meds off mom :( _ they aren't helping...
<---is actually really good with pain and DOMS, so promises she isn't being overdramatic
<---is so sorry for the self centered post :(

<--Can you put a call in to your doc?
<--Does your insurance offer phone access to nurses?
<--Sounds like something more serious than DOMS
<--In the meantime maybe try RICE? Rest/Ice/Compression/Elevation
<--Please take care of yourself and let us know how you are

<---at the moment --- is sitting on the bed with a pillow under her knees and a heating pad
<---adds that DH is putting together some ice packs for her
<---knows her Dr.'s office is closed at the moment, but supposes she could call an emergency line
<---just doesn't want to bother anyone for what is probably nothing on the night before Thanksgiving
<---will see how the ice works
<---may try to GENTLY pull her toes back using a band and see if she can't get the muscle to relax
<---feels bad for her DH cuz' he is having to do all of the cooking...
 
<---tells Lorie that she is prepared for a trip to the ER if things do not start improving soon
<---says her Dh told her she should have gone when it first happened
<---was afraid she would get yelled at for taking her mom's oxi-"whatever" though
<---says her company has a REALLY strict drug policy and that she could actually get fired for taking someone else's prescription so was leary about going after that
