Where do I start?

I've had Step Fit, MIS and Strong Legs & Abs for about 2 months now and just love them. I've graduated from Firm tapes and am now totally committed to Cathe's tapes. I am very pleased with the way my body has molded over these past 2 months. I just received 5 new tapes this week: Power Max, IMax, Step Works, MIC, and Body Max. I did Power Max last night and totally wiped myself out (I was too tired to do the cool down). Whew! I'm extremely pumped about these new tapes. However, I was wondering what the best plan of attack would be. Should I slowly incorporate them into my routine? Should I get to know Power Max before moving on to one of the other step tapes. I'm very anxious to see them all but I don't know if I would just be lost. What would you all suggest?

Make haste slowly. :)

All of the videos you listed are among the toughest Cathe has to offer. Make sure that you don't overdo it in your enthusiasm for all things Cathe. :) I personally wouldn't want to do IMax and MIC on consecutive days, for example, because they are both so high impact. If you feel good about your choreography mastery with Power Max, I don't see any reason not to add 1 of the other new videos to your routine this week. It might get confusing trying to add too many at once. Then once you have the choreography down well on the 2 you've chosen, you can go on to other videos. Then again, you may find that you have a feel for Cathe's style now, and you are able to pick up her choreography relatively easily, in which case you can go for it!

The important thing is to listen to your body. Since these are all so advanced in intensity, be aware of your energy levels before during and after your workouts. If you're finding that you're just feeling wiped out all the time, you're probably doing too much too soon. If your joints start talking to you, you know that you need to space out the higher impact workouts more, or modify them for lower impact.

There's nothing more fun than having a bunch of new videos to learn and enjoy, at least for a vidiot! Have a great time! you've got some fabulous workouts there!!

RE: Make haste slowly. :)

Thanks, Erin. I think you are right. The more I think about it the best thing to do would be try a couple of new ones and learn them well before moving on. I don't want to burn out. I also enjoyed Step Fit so much more after I did it a few times and had all of the moves down. I would "sing" the routine in my head every day. :)

I hope I wasn't overly ambitious with my selections. I'm just really hooked on Cathe's tapes right now. Thanks!
