I know she recommends you watch it first - but I can't help myself and have to try it out. I wondered if I was the only one and the rest of you do what you're told.
I like to do them right out of the box, too. I like not knowing what's next. The workout goes by so quickly. I rarely rewind, I just don't have the patience to do so. I figure I'll get it eventually.
I voted "Tackle the whole thing", but my answer is actually "none of the above". I do it without previewing, but I don't rewind. If I don't get a step, I just blow it off until the next time. I'll eventually get it. I just don't like to stop the workout.
I tend to preview "in fast forward". I watch for a few minutes and then fast forward a few minutes and so on...I usually don't preview the ENTIRE work out either. The preview usually lasts about the first half of the work out and then I'm done.
When I do the actual work out, I WILL replay parts that confuse me though...atleast once...but if I don't pick it up after 2 or 3 tries, I move on until the next time.
Have a great work out!

Let me get this straight - so many of you really just sit and watch it all the way through?!?!?! Do you stretch, lift weights, do your nails or anything else when you watch? Or just watch? I don't think I have that kind of attention span - or time?!!!
Hee hee - I watch it like a movie, though I do fast-forward through the repetitions (second set of barbell curls, second time through a step combination). I have paper and pen in hand to make notes on the equipment I need (4" or 6" step?) and I look at the strength exercises and note which dumbbell or barbell weights I'll need. Then I can go make up my worksheet for the workout and I'll be ready to give it a go.
