hi ladies, just wanted to know when everyone gets their sweat on. why do you workout at the time you do? i'm usually a weeee hours of the morning girl but lately i haven't been and i'm thinking of switching my time up a bit.
 
I woke up at 445 today. That is what I do on work days. On weekends, I usually average about 10 am, after breakfast and a long break before I workout. Why rush it on the weekend, you know?

I am a SAHM with a napping toddler. I work out when he naps MOST of the time which is about 2pm so I chose lunch time as my answer to the poll.

I go to the gym 1 or 2 days a week to run on the TM and that is done in the morning (9 or 10am).

I rarely work out in the evenings anymore (when I worked f/t outside of the home I worked out in the evenings 5 out of 6 days a week)) though I will if need be.
 
I work out from 5am to 6am every morning, except weekends and holidays. If it's a bike ride outside, it will be later on. If nothing else, I am consistent with my workouts.

None of the choices!

I work out in the morning around 9am. I run different times of the day. If I'm on the treadmill, it will be whenever I have time during the day. If I'm running outside, it will be whenever the temp is warm enough or cool enough. That can vary from early morning in the hot summer months, to late afternoon in the winter months.
 
Like Wendy, I'm a SAHM and I work out when my toddler naps--around 2pm. But sometimes I manage a workout while he's in nursery school 3 mornings a week, but usually that time is taken up with groceries, appointments, etc. so I chose "whenever I can."

I'm an early morning gal myself. Up at 4:45, downstairs working out by 5:20ish:) I would have to get up at 6:30 anyway to wake up my DS for school-whats another hour or so? LOL-- Love the weekends when I can sleep in.

I prefer mid-afternoon, but seeing as I have to work, that only happens on the weekends. Especially in the winter, mid afternoon workout, shower and back into the flannel jammies where its warm. AHHHHH!!! But during the week, I'm and after dinner exerciser. Tried mornings, but I have to leave for work by about 615, and while I love Cathe, I don't love her at 430 in the morning!!! I tried, it didn't work. Plus, if I w/o after dinner, I tend to eat a less for dinner. Jumping around while being overfull on spaghetti is NO good!!!!

I wake up between 2-2:30am and start working out by 3am. I'm a stay at home mother of 5 boy's and provide childcare from my home with first two kids arriving at 5:30am. However during the 14+ years that I have been working out I have tried everything morning, afternoon, and nights, and by far I love waking up early and getting it out of the way.

I'm an early gal too, I get up at 4:30 have a cup of coffee, between 5 and 5:15 I’m pushing play. I try to give myself an hour for each workout. Have a wonderful day everyone:D
 
I used to workout in the evenings but missed too many workouts because of emergencies, happy hours, etc. Now I workout in the morning to get it done early so I no excuses for not working out.

I chose "whenever I can" because I've been an evening exerciser for years but am slowely working into becoming a morning exerciser. Sometimes I don't make it for my a.m. workouts because of a late night the night before or I just can't get out of bed, so that's when I'll workout after work.

I have 2 settings on my alarm clock---4:30 and 4:55, so I start my workout around 4:45 to 5:30 depending on how long my workout is. Of course, I am toast by 9:30 at night!!

Early morning here - up at 4am and downstairs pushing play usually by 4:10am and done by 5am to be out of the house by 5:50am for work.

I've fairly recently started working out in the wee hours. I get up at 4:25, walk my dogs then get right to it. On weekends it's a bit later, usually around 7, or sometimes I leave it until the afternoon depending on how busy the day is.
 
I also have a busy toddler so I try to exersize when she is napping around 2pm. Sometimes I do make it to the gym by 9 and she spends time in the day care playing with the other kids. It's a long drive though so mostly I'm at home. I would love to become a morning exersizer but lately have been too tired. I need to work on that! :)
 
I voted night. I usually start around 8PM and go for an hour. On weight days I try really hard to do it on the day but its not very easy with 2 munchkins around! They want to be in the weight rm w/ me and its not a safe place for them to play.

When the new baby comes everyting will change. Hopefully I'll be able to wrokout while (s)he naps!
 
Since I usually start my workouts between 4 and 6, I didn't choose (since it's neither "lunch time" or "night").

My answer would be "late afternoon."
 
Agreed with above Toddler Moms-whenever kid naps. I work in the evenings, so I like to get my workout done at least by noon on most days, so I have time to get ready for work. Mostly I workout around 10am. I would love to get up early, but with my late nights, it just isn't happening now.
