What's up for your weekend?

I'm going to a kettlebell workshop!
I just got my first kettlebell, and I was doing a web search for kettlebells in Illinois, and found out about it. It's a little over two hours from where I live, but worth the drive IMO (I've driven farther for less interesting things, like board--or is it 'bored'?LOL--meetings).

VERY quietly answers back......Oh goodie! How exciting. I will be waiting to hear all about the wedding. You are looking sooo good these days so don't be surprised if you have a couple OTHER "lookers" tonight! ;-) Have a great time!

Lucky you Kathryn! I am interested to hear what you think. I was looking up info last week about kettlebells and saw some interesting exercises. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Why does this question always appear on weekends I am working.

I am working. Also, I am cooking for visiting SIL and her DH.

Kathryn,

I interested to hear about your kettlebell experience too. I have been working out with them for about a year now and I love them.

TMI! TMI!

That whole bit looks dirty if taken out of context.

I'm another one who will be shoe shopping as I need some nice silver dress shoes. I hope to get my DH to take me shopping as he has a mysterious talent for picking out the best shoes for me. My favorite pairs of shoes (at least as far as pretty shoes) are ones he picked out. If only they were also comfy, but that doesn't concern him.

Otherwise we'll probably be lazing around at home. Actually, I'll be lucky if I can get him out of the house at all on weekends now that football season has started.

Shelley,
What time exactly do want us over to help you eat all of those apple treats??? Share those calories with your friends. :) .
For me, this weekend, working out, cleaning the house and maybe plant some grass seed.
Yesterday was like summer so I drove to the beach and the waves were huge (Lake MI).

Have fun!!

Lainie, I have a pair of silver dress shoes I wore once: to my stepson's wedding, and they are taking up room in my closet. What are the chances that we're the same size? (I dislike clutter).

Awe Teri, I am the black sheep of my DH's family too. :( We are spending Christmas with them and I'd rather play in traffic. ;)

No exciting plans for me. The house is actually clean, so I may just curl up with a book and a weiner dog.

Debbie-THANKS!!!

Lainie-OUT OF THE GUTTER, GIRL!! NOOOOWWWW! LOL
(at least for the next few hours, lol)

We don't have any plans as of yet. My DH has been out of town -- he's due back tonight and I suppose we won't even discuss it until tomorrow.

Well, probaby about the same as the chances that I know what my size is. I think I usually wear an 8 to an 8 1/2 in most shoes (but somehow have some 7 1/2s floating around that fit.

It's a big festival weekend here in San Jose. Seems our two favorites are happening the same weekend. So we'll be hitting the street dance Saturday night and going to the other on Sunday. Some where in there is an 8 mile run, grocery shopping and getting my nails done... Oh yeah, and a football game Sunday night as well. Fun, fun.

I'm not looking forward to my weekend. I have 4 exams to study for. 2 musculoskeletal exams and 2 neuroscience exams. i'll at least do it by the pool and get some sun.:)

Fall like weather would be nice for a change here. We're supposed to be in the 90's all weekend and next week. Not what I'd call football weather.

My dh would die if he knew I was putting this info on a forum but he's going to be trying out for the Dallas Mavericks ManiAACs tomorrow morning. If anyone doesn't know what that is, it's a group of about 12-15 "beefy" guys that perform once a month at the Mav's game with little cut off shirts to expose their beefy mid section if you know what I mean. It's all in fun but actually I'm not sure he is big enough, he's 6'8 and weighs around 260, most of the others are 280-300 lbs at average height 6'2. But mine is cuter ;)

We will know when we leave tomorrow if he makes it or not. I think he has a good shot so hopefully we'll be celebrating later in the evening when we take his mom to dinner for her birthday.

Sunday, what else? GO COWBOYS!!!

Hanging out with friends tomorrow. Hanging out with family tonight. Church in the a.m. on Sunday. Hanging out with a friend Sunday night. 'Lots of hanging out this weekend!

DS is having a buddy sleep over tonight. I rented "Blades of Glory" for DH and I to watch. (Someone please tell me this movie is worth 93 minutes of my life or would I be better off doing Yoga X? :+ ) Staining closet doors and molding. Getting an oil change. Fun stuff, can you tell? LOL Doing a really great heart-pumping cardio like Imax. :7
