What's the fave HRM now?

My HRM has kick and I need to get another one. What's are your favorites, how much did they cost, and where did you get them? In addition to my heart rate, the only other thing that I'm really interested in is calories burned. I don't want anything too technical.

Brenda - I have the Polar F4 and love it. Not too complicated and it will give you the calories burned.

I have the Polar F11 and love it. It might be too technical for you though. It has lots of features, about half of which I don't use. The only things I like about it are that it gives me percentage of calories burned from fat, and that it gives me a good estimate of how long/intense I have to work out to reach my goal. Those are really key for me.

My husband has the F6 and he likes it, too. Not as technical as the F11, easy to use, and I actually like its transmitter better than the F11's. It's more affordable, too.

I have the Polar F6 and LOVE it!! It's easy to use and gives lots of great info without overwhelming you with features HTH!

Here's another vote for the F4. I got mine at heartratemonitors.com for 64.00. I had a discount code. If you decide to buy from them, let me know and I'll give it to you...although I'm not sure if it would be good yet or not.

Thanks for all the help ladies. Looks like more votes for the F4 so I'll definitely look into that. I'll probably make my husband get it for me for Christmas... if I can wait that long. I've had a HRM forever and last week I just didn't feel right without it!
