What would you do if someone grabbed....

If some girl grabbed your hubby's tushy what would you do?

DH is in a band and was playing at a show Saturday night and I was there. Well, this girl runs up while he was singing (he sings off stage sometimes) and grabbed his tush. He turned around for a sec and was a bit surprised and annoyed because it was right during his last song.

The girl ran off and started dancing with her friend. I went up to her and put my hand on her shoulder and smiled. I said, "Did you just grab his a$$?" She laughed and said, "Yeah". Then I said, "Well he's my husband and that wasn't cool." All of the sudden she had this deer in the headlights look on her face. Then she points to her friend and says, "....uh, uh...she told me to do it". They were so afraid of me. LOL!!

Then DH went back on stage and said into the microphone in front of everyone....

"Don't go pickin' fresh fruit off the tree if it aint yours!"

OMG....my friend and I just about died laughing!!! The girl felt stupid and left the room after that.

So would you have said anything or would you have just sat there?
I have to say it felt kind of good to scare them like that!!

Dani, what you did was right. I'd have done the same thing. (But remember my hubby sings only in the shower and in the car.;-) ) You confronted the person in a very decent way, without causing a scene. And your DH handled it very well, too. Humor is always, I think, the best way to diffuse an uncool situation like that. Anger only hurts.

Hi Danielle that is sooo funny. I would've done the same thing. That's your tree!:7 LOL

That's really cool what your husband said in front of everyone! You've got a good man there IMO. Must've felt great!

Could you imagine tho if she said "let's go outside?"!!! You would of had to drop kick her flirty butt! Hee Hee.

Hilarious, Dani! You handled it perfectly and so did your husband! You should be proud! I don't know if I would have had so much self-control. My gut reaction would have been to slug her, which would have been very, very wrong. x( I guess this is why I don't trust my gut reaction too much. :p

Girl I would of wanted to knock her out but what you did was the right thing. Making a fool out of her was the best thing you could of done. God I hope I can be that smart if I was ever faced with the same situation!!

Maybe I'm too nice or maybe I'm naive or something but I would pretty much expect things like that might happen if my significant other or husband or whoever was is in a band. I'm not saying the girl had any RIGHT to do what she did but I don't think I'd be surprised if it happened. I don't think I'd have done anything about it...not that it wouldn't have bothered me but I think I would have let it go...after all it wasn't my s/o or dh grabbing some gal's a$$...Am I too nice???

Hi Wendy! I even surprised myself by doing what I did. I really was going to let it go but something just came over me. I'm known as very nice too but that just irritated me and it felt good. :)

He's been in the business for quite some time and that's the first time any girl has tried that. My friend was thinking what if it were a guy grabbing a girl? (Which has happened to me and I wished I would have punched him...but I didn't know what else to do and I was a lot younger) I think that's just crossing the line.

Now that I look back on it, the whole thing seems funny and I'm really glad she was embarrassed.

If he were really famous there would have been bodyguards to stop her, I guess I'll just be his bodyguard then. He told me later that he was glad he had his "pit bull" with him. :p

Dani you did a great job and your DH...a VERY good guy. That girl should have been embarrassed...now me....possibly a Roundhouse kick...:7 :+ :) ;) ...Carole

I guess I'm with Wendy on this one. I probably would expect to see things like that happen. As Wendy said, it would still bother me, but as long as hubby doesn't enjoy it too much I would have just brushed it off. My husband used to be a bartender when we first met and I was a server at the same restaurant and I used to watch him get hit on ALL the time. I never enjoyed it, but knew that it just kind of went with the territory.

However Danielle, I think you handled it great! If I were the type of person to confront someone in that situation I hope that I would handle it with as much tact as you.

>Carole - I like the way you think;)

Shelley...thanks, you made me laugh out loud!!! My way does get me into trouble though...x( ...Dani did alot better than I could have...:)...Carole

LOL! Carole that's great! :7

Wow! I don't know what I would do. My mind works like Carole's haha.:7 ! Probably jab, cross, hook, upper, double round and set. I had an ex-bf that played guitar in a band a couple of years ago. He was pretty darn hot and I never went to see him play just because I know those things happen and I get extremely jealous. But you and your hubby were very classy about it.
