What was I thinking?

So I had the day off on Friday and I decided to do two workouts - STS Legs - Disk 9 and Cycle Max. I did STS first, then Cycle Max. At the end of Cycle Max I felt great and thought (wow my legs don't feel too fatigued!!)

Fast forward to Saturday morning and I instantly felt the DOMS in my entire lower body as soon as I woke up. I was still feeling it on Sunday. What the heck was I thinking on Friday????

Just a word of advice - it may not be a good idea to combine a lower body workout with Cycle Max...
 
I doubled up today trying to fit my week's workout in early this week due to a conflict later in week.

Anyway, did STS Disk 25 Chest & Back and STS Disk 26 Plyo Legs. I did that this morning and already feel it in my legs this afternoon. Great feeling, but may not want to try Plyo Legs & Cycle Max on the same day. Could you imagine the DOMS?? :eek:

DOMS thread!

We should have one of these! Everyone can check in daily and specify where they feel DOMS and what workout caused it! I think that would be pretty cool.

Yesterday I did Afterburn. IDK, every time I do this one, my butt & legs feel bad DOMS for 2-4 days afterwards. I can't even sit on the toilet properly, it's that bad. I am not sure what is causing it, as I don't feel the burn during the exercises. I am thinking maybe the dixie cup lunges, or running man sprint, or perhaps the line taps at the end. Not that I am complaining :D

You gals are crazy might I add. Two tough workouts in one day :eek:
I tried doing 1/2 hr of Imax1 after Hiit 30/30. NEVER AGAIN! My legs gave up :eek:

Ditto on the Afterburn DOMS! I am moaning and groaning today .... the DixieCup lunges are pretty fast .... but those line taps are endless! Love the burn! I did Lower Body Blast and Turbo Barre last week and didn't have nuthin' like this.

And to think, I almost went to spin class today .... thanks for the warning!

I am interested in a check-in. I'm on week 2 of the STS/LI 3 month rotation. I lost my moe-joe about 2-3 months ago and am fighting to get through every exercise. I'm usually not like that. I did disc 18 on Friday and had such bad doms that yesterday I was suppose to do Disc 4, biceps again and just couldn't :( Hopefully today will work however, 3 kids home with a snow day doesn't sound great with STS. I will send them outside to make a snow fort and tell them I will have a snowball fight after they are done. Maybe this will work?

I've never been part of one so let me know if your interested.

Yup, that running man sprint slays me every time! The dixie cup lunges I'm getting better at, but I'm sure the combination of those two moves results in those crazy lower body DOMS! I love DOMS in my lower body though (yup, I'm nuts!) but I get a little whiny when I have them in my upper body:p. I'm trying to toughen up now that I'm doing STS and just deal with it. I love the strength gains I'm getting, so it's worth it!
 
Yikes...since its snowing here in Michigan right now and tonights basketball games are cancelled, I was totally thinking of doubling up tonight since I have time. Hmmmm... But maybe not now since Ive read this thread!

Ummmm... you weren't! You were just having wayyy too much fun!.....been there!
 
I too would like an LIS/STS 3 month rotation check-in. I keep meaning to start this rotation and for some reason haven't started it yet, perhaps a check-in is what I need?
