What to use for a Tall Step?

Hi,

I just ordered the CTX Series and I'm interested to know what everyone is using for their tall step and at what height?

Thanks,

Elaine

Hi Elaine,

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the CTX series as well. I have 'the Firm's signature Fanny Lifter' of their BBS1 infomercial fame. It is 14" and most people here are using roughly the same height, give or take a couple of inches. If you don't have this, you could use a stool, a chair, the end of a coffee table, or if you have enough risers, a regular step. There is information on the home page of Cathe's site for a mini step with risers. I don't know if it is available yet or in the works. This would be handy as regular step risers could be used and you could adjust it to whatever height suited you.

Hi Elaine, I use my wood foot stool that is about 15 inches high. I've heard people using their kitchen chairs or a rubbermaid box.

I use the end of a traditional workout bench. On one end it has metal supports to hold a barbell. On the other end it is 16 1/2" high and I use that end for step-ups. I have long legs so this works perfectly.

At my local hardware store, I found a combination stepstool/toolbox that's 14" high. It's also handy for keeping smaller weights like ankle weights in and other small accessories.

I want to thank everyone for their input. I've been using my sons step stool to his potty chair. It is 12 inches which seems to work so far. I'm only 5 feet tall so for now 12 inches seems okay.
It seems everyone has been creative in coming up with a tall step.
It would be great if we could purchase the one Cathe uses in the videos.
