Cleaning the toilet! Ugh! Every time I'm on my hands and knees doing that, I can't help but think "what has my life been reduced to?" But then afterwads I have a shiny clean toilet and I get over it. :)

I became a "flybaby" too...and I still hate cleaning. At least it's getting done occasionally now though. I like my house clean but there are so many other things I'd rather be doing. I occasionally stand as tall as I possibly can, lift my chin and say "I was created for something better than this." Then I go clean the toilet.
And a small rant...Flylady claims if you set the example the others in the family will follow - this has not proven true in my house. I have 3 very creative messy children and despite my cleanliness example they tend to turn their noses up in the air and I'm sure they feel they were created for better things. Hmmm - I think I've just talked myself into a corner.

BTW has anyone seen that commercial where at the start it looks like a daughter is visiting her mother in jail. They spread their hands against each others with the glass in between and the daughter asks tearfully "When will you get out?" The mother looks terribly disturbed and says she has to go back now...and then camera view moves back and here the mother is not in jail at all - SHE'S CLEANING THE TUB! I love this commercial!

I haven't seen that commercial but I'm cracking up here reading about it! That is my least favorite chore by far, we have hard water and it's impossible to get the orange scum off (lovely image, eh?). Laundry is a close second but only because our stackable washer/dryer holds approximately 2 pairs of jeans and a shirt and it's full.

>Mine is ALL of it! I hate cleaning house!!! Always have and
>always will!

Me, too! I'm tempted to hire a cleaning woman to come in every two weeks (but the house is too messy for me to want her to come in!)

I may be in the minority here, but I love doing laundry. I have a stackable washer/dryer and since I'm short, I have to kind of pull the dry clothes down onto my chest in a pile to get them out and the smell of warm freshly dry clothes with fabric softener is sooooo nice. :)

Cleaning the bathtub and cleaning the refrigerator are my LEAST favorite chores. I pay my 16 yo daugther to clean the refrigerator. :D

Cleaning out the refrigerator! Not only because it is never-failingly disgusting, but because I am constantly reminded of how much crap we buy and THROW AWAY! What a waste...

I was laughing at the laundry comments; I always say the neighbors are slipping their stuff into my basement window...

Cheers,
Marie

Cleaning any part of the bathrooms - especially the bathroom dh and ds use. I think someone needs target practice!:p Bathrooms just gross me out generally.....

Folding and putting laundry away.

Love washing it - hate folding it and putting it in the drawere. I confess I save some of it for the evening so DH and DS can help! tehehe

Definitely cleaning the bathrooms. I could never hire someone to clean because I am to picky. I usually do the bathrooms first to get it over with.

Dumping the cat sh*t. Apparently the man in the house has no sense of smell.

I have a housekeeper come in every 2 weeks. She is extremely nice and works for my neighbors as well. It was a tough decision at first because I also worried about theft and not having my house the way I wanted it. However, I got over it. It is well worth the money, in my opinion. It would take me a LOT longer to clean it. So it saves me time and also keeps me from being resentful of the fact that most of the cleaning falls in my lap.

Vacuuming! Especially with all those wretched loaded barbbells and the weight bench that I have to move. Plus I have two cats, i.e. cat litter trails (and don't start singing "Happy Trails to You", 'cause there ain't nuttin' about vacuuming that makes me happy)!

See, I don't mind cleaning the bathroom.

I hate to dust!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of dusting.

I worked with a guy who has a few loose screws up there. He thought that if he dusted with "Endust" that it...well, would end dust(dusting). He was such a goober.

Hi,

I hate cleaning the bathrooms. I do have a lady that come in every other week and leaves my house spotless. she is there from 9:00
AM to 4:30 and I only pay her $80.00. I love her, she has been with me for one year now and it is worth it. We used to clean the house from top to bottom every other week and spend the whole day doing it and believe me I would rather spend my free time doing other things.

I SECONDS that one!

Im the ONLY one who "dumps" the "deed" as well

and DH's also BLIND because he's the ONLY one who walks "over" anything left in the middle of the floor, instead of picking it up!

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother started walking when she was 60. Today she is 97 and we don't know where the hell she is! - Ellen DeGeneres
