what is your least favorite household chore?

I'm with ya on the gravel road and dust! But I'm not really happy with any cleaning chore, LOL. I now own the entire line of Swiffer products, LOL. Even my sweep and vac they recalled on me!

I think cleaning the shower is the biggest pain.

Thank God for the dishwasher...I don't know what I'd do without one, eating 5 times a day! :D
 
I too hate it all. Mostly because when I clean, I feel like I have to POWER clean & it's so time consuming.

I absolutely hate cleaning the Fridge. Gross!x(

I refuse to pay someone to clean my house. I think it's just as tiring to get them to do it like you like so you might as well do it yourself.

Another thing is, who do they think they are? They try to get paid college-educated-eople wages & most can't even speak English. Nope. Can't do it.

Cleaning the bathtub. It's an old porcelain tub and is impossible to get it completely clean because of the old funk that has settled in. Once I bought this cleaner that was so powerful, it ate through the rubber gloves I was wearing. After a lot of elbow grease, I got the settled dirt gone, but the next day after our showers, it just came back. :(
 
Laundry. I never seem to be caught up. I swear the hamper breeds
overnight. My kids are forever looking for socks, when it seems just yesterday I put 20 pairs away the day before. I joined the FLYLADY email program, where they send you little messages thoughout the day.
"Where's your laundry, don't forget it's a 5 step process." If only I could follow through. I think I might need a support group for laundry procrastination. It just never ENDS........................

Cleaning windows and glass are another pet peeve, but it's much easier to ignore that chore!!;-)

I hate scrubbing the floors. 7 of our rooms downstairs are the laminated hardwood. My husband is forever tracking in dirt/mud and it is such a pain in the butt to get out the scrubber or the bucket and mop. Oh I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I can't stand cleaning the tub and walls in the shower. I have ceramic tile up to the ceiling. The grout is like an off white color and is a pain to clean. Laundry is right behind cleaning my bathroom. I do it almost everyday & it seems like it's neverending!!

I guess my least favorite our the bathrooms because I clean them last. So hard to find the energy too to clean after you have been working out most of the day so I dread housecleaning most of the time. Summertime is worse because then I have to fit in mowing our 1 1/2 acre of land. Mowing is nice and I get a good workout with the push mower too, but just hard to keep EVERYTHING in order ALL THE TIME! ;-)
 
Becoming a flybaby has made me not hate any cleaning. I do not obsess, but "just do it" and am so pleased when I see a shiny sink and clean floors etc. It is similar to our work out attitude. Something we do every day and don't even think about it.

I had cleanning people in my house for 11 years. Last year I got burned bad. I had several thousand dollars worth of jewelry stolen by an employees of cleanning business. The girl was a drug addict and I couldn't go after her because she went to rehab. Long story...

Since then I have used the FlyLady.com system. Now I spend minimal time on maintenence cleanning and my home is cleaner than when I paid for it.

The biggest lesson I learned for Fly Lady is No Whinning about cleanning. No martyrism!

I have to say I don't really like cleaning, but I don't mind it that much, I turn on the stereo when the kids are gone and start to clean away, But there is one job I absolutly hate!!! that is the Laundry!! for some reason I can never get caught up and stay caught up on it, my kids will go through about 20 towels in just a week!! and my youngest son will go through all his underwear in just a few days. Rather clean the toilet then do laundry LOL.
 
My least favorite household chores are mopping the kitchen floor and cleaning the bathrooms, mostly cleaning the bathrooms. If I could pay someone to do it for me at a reasonable price then I would, but then I would have to trust someone enough to do it. I guess I will just have to suck it up and do it myself. At least now that I am pregnant I can try to con DH into doing it for me since I can't use harsh chemicals.
 
Its not really cleaning but I HATE putting away laundry.I don't mind washing it and folding it but it could be in the basket for days before it makes it to the rooms.I also hate ironing.
