Maybe tomorrow I'll think of more.

I'd love to be a performer, singer, song-writer. If they had an American Idol for my age, I'd be there, giving it my best. My second dream would be to be a professional body builder. If I had the time, the money, and now I'm probably too darn old!
But it's fun to think about!

Hi There,

Great post, Honeybunch ! :)
My dream job would be Stevie Nicks's make up artist, so I would get to go on tour with her and see her and Fleetwood Mac perform on stage every night :7
And, I would love to be a Field Archaeologist, just going on digs every day, and discovering new things about the way we used to live :). Hopefully, this one will come true for me one day !

Hi Honeybunch

My ideal job would be selling wedding dresses after dress hunting with 2 friends I really loved it. I would have a shop with a small but varied collection catering mainly to "real women" like one of my favourite designers Betty Barclay.

It would be by appointment only so that I could devote time to each customer so that she could have a dress that would make her feel like a million dollars (whilst spending a fraction of the cost).

My dream job would be a multifaceted retirement life. I would work part time as a docent in an art museum, go to school for art/poetry/literature/astronomy/etc. etc. etc., and do my artwork.

Well, since we're dreaming...I want to teach group fitness at Cathe's studio! And I'd like to be a duathlete or triathlete that actually has sponsors. If it was safe I'd also like to work on a mission or something in underprivileged countries helping people. But, only if my kids could come.

Does anyone mind if I post another dream job ? I would like to be Bruce Springsteen's stylist, I would force him to wear stonewashed Levi 501s ALL the time, so I could stare at his amazing butt - now that would be a dream job :7 :7 :7 :7

Mine would be to have a successful photography business. OR to work for the NFL since I absolutely LOVE football. Don't ask me to do anything on Sundays! I'm in front of the tv ALL day!

My dream job: art director for Southern Living. And it should pay well enough for MY home to be one of the featured homes!

Great thread! I'd be a Movie Critic or the next Stephen King! :)

Beth (who grew up in an area where Mr. King could spend a few days and come up with a whole new series of books!:D)

I want to change mine. My dream job would be to be one of those "homemakers" from the fifties. Raising kids, going to the hairdresser, PTA meetings, cleaning the house (I think cleaning can be very satisfying when you have the time to do it well), having coffee klatches and playing mah jong with the "girls". It sounds so....cozy and nice. At least to someone whose never done any of those things! Whatta life! I want to be June Cleaver or Donna Reed. Guess I sound pretty nutty, huh? :)

LAST EDITED ON Oct-19-02 AT 01:24PM (Est)[p]I've actually got mine. I'm a daytrader. I work for myself, answer to no one. If I don't perform, I don't eat. No boss, no BS. I cannot work for anyone else. It's hard enough that I don't get bored and have to be on my game but I can do it every day in my sweats or jeans.

I love it.

If I weren't doing this, my second dream job would be to make wedding cakes or cakes and pies for a bakery. I love to bake and decorate cakes.

I found my dream job, 1 1/2 years ago. I went to a Premier Design's Show, and signed up a week later. I absolutely love it. I am working my hardest at it, so I can quit my job working at Steelcase, in a factory, and do this full-time. I started because I wanted to learn about GOD, and I learned that and much more. I think it is just wonderful, and giving ladies $200 in free jewelry, and meeting so many great people is awesome. Plus, I get to wear nice clothes, and I have my own business. I can not say enough good things about this company. I am really happy.
