I am just not in the mood for cardio this week! i am trying to be, but it's not working!!! i would rather take a napx(

Maybe i'll just go stand naked infront of the mirror and get motivated:p


agh! i hate it when i get in this funk:-(

Times like these are when i do a short premix that i've never tried before. Or just take a nice long walk with my dog.
just any old thing to get moving.

Been there too, it shall pass....
 
You're not pregnant are you?? Don't shoot me for asking!! But, during my two pregnancies, I was a walking zombie during the first trimesters!:eek:
 
What the heck is wrong with you girl? You get your workout gear on, get to that TV and get stepping!

Those are the days I make myself a deal that I will just do 10 minutes of anything. Then I try to pick something really fun and usually by the time the 10 minutes are up, I've forgotten about "my deal" and do the whole workout.

I'm there this week too and I don't know why. I'm pushing myself for short workouts though just because it clears my head. I know I'll be taking an extra rest day this week. ;)

Well, I was going to be a smart#@$ and say where do you want me to start....LOL:p }( Oh girl I hear ya, I didn't work out last night or the night before so tonight I don't care how but I'm gonna make myself do SOMETHING after work..........the road trip is only 2 months away!!!:eek:

well, i have made a little progress... i am now wearing my workout get up and socks......and i am about to take my butt into the workout room and i am NOT comming out until i have done at least 30 mins of cardio and legs!!!!!! if anyone sees me on here before 1:30 central time, tell me to shut up, quit jacking around and do my workout!!!(and remind me i said that too!:+ )

I've learned that sometimes you just have to ignore what you want to do and do what you need to do (if that makes sense). Guess what, you know if you don't do that cardio you will berate yourself for not doing it so you're just setting yourself up.
 
Working out naked.....now there is an idea! Maybe that would work for me.....Get back at it girl! Take a nap when you get done! LOL

At least put a sports bra on, no sense in giving gravity any assistance!!;-) ;-) :eek: ;-) ;-)

That happens to me sometimes, too. Usually if you force yourself through a warmup, you can get going....

I am going through the same thing this week. So yesterday during my lunch hour, I went to J crew and tried on a bikini. Worked wonders - I went home after work and did Step Blast.
 
no! not working out naked! just getting that way long enough to scare myself into a cardio frenzy!!

well, i made it in there and did 15 mins of allstep and gave out. i put HSC in to do teh abs and fell asleep on my mat:eek: oops. i left everything set up and i am seriously going to try again later.

I have the same problem this week. I even have new workouts from cathe but still think I am in a funk. I make myself workout cause I am one of those people who if I dont I will feel fat then say screw it and eat! I feel for me one missed workout means weight gain even though it isnt true.

Yes, I get in these funks too. I'm kind of in one now myself...but I'm gonna make myself do IMAX2 tonight because I gained a pound this past week.
 
I was that way this morning. I was about 3 minutes into the SB warm up and I was thinking to myself "Is it over yet". I forced myself to do it by saying "Okay I'll just do the first combo", then when that was over I said "Okay I'll just go to the end of the second combo" and did that for the entire workout.
I found a great motivator though. Yesterday I was craving really bad food (I'm trying to eat REALLY well), but I stopped at the mall to buy some shoes and went in and started trying on clothes. By the time I had looked at myself in several different outfits I was definitely not about to go eat a bunch of junk food.
