What if you could only have 6 Cathe's??????

I know, perish the thought!

But, what if you could only keep 6 Cathe DVds? What would they be and why would you keep those? Sets i.e. CTX, 4DS, count as one because you can't buy them separate on DVd.

If you download, you may have 12 picks. (or the equivalent in dvd picks:)..fair is fair)

I looked over mine, and I simply would not want to part with the entire Body Blast series (I don't even have PP/SS yet but that would be one too, I love the TV one), Low Impact Circuit, and Low Max.

That's:
Kick, Punch, & Crunch-Legs & Glutes
Step, Jump, & Pump- Step Blast
Push & Pull - Supersets
Timesaver (Redundant but I would still want it)

Low Impact Circuit
Low Max

Why? Kickbox, best of the best, Leg workout, awesome, Circuits 2, I could keep all circuits & be happy. Step cardio, ditto. Total body workouts, I like others as much or more but I be sad to part with these. Timesaver, simplifies a week at a time, just push play. Step interval cardio, still tops in that department.

Overall reason...these are the ones that are the most fun. The premixes only could keep me busy for years.:)

So what would you keep & why?

Nice Thread!!

1. STS
2. Slow and Heavy
3. PUB/PLB
4. High Reps
5. Muscle Max (because this is the one where I discovered Cathe)
6. Gym Styles (I guess that's 3-sorry)

I love weight work outs the most. The harder the better!!!;)

My first thought is that this is a mean question! Each workout has a special place in my heart. But this made me look at my profile and see that my preferences have changed a little since I first set my top 5 Cathe workouts.

Here's my list (as of today, I'm sure it would be different tomorrow)!:

  1. Body Max 2 - unlimited options with premixes!
  2. Butts & Guts - again awesome premixes and bonus add-ons!
  3. Pyramid Upper and Lower Body - always makes my muscles feel exhausted!
  4. Terminator - calorie incinerator!
  5. 4 Day split - has everything you ever need (well maybe that's stretching things!)
  6. Kick Punch Crunch + Legs & Glutes - I just can't work my legs quite enough without them!

I'm also assuming STS would count as 3 not 1. If it counts as 1, I would probably exchange Pyramid Upper and Lower for STS.

BTW! This was the hardest question I have had to answer in a long time! :p

First of all what kind of sick mind do you have to ask such a question  LOL But in going along I will say:

1 - STS Because it's STS duh!!
2 - Body Max 2 - lots of options & fun factor
3 - CTX so much packed in there
4 - Intensity fun factor variety
5 - 4DS for the bootcamp alone, plus it has it all
6 - any IMAX because it is after all IMAX! :D

I debated on whether or not to allow multisets, obviously STS pushes the spirit of the question (36-40, come on folks)

but, I'd say since each Meso is available separate, etc. that should count as 3.

I couldn't even tell you what the top 5 of mine are! just the ones I wouldn't want to part with, if that makes any sense, lol.:)

oh see- now look what you've done- my mind is racing (total panic mode) at the thought of "jenn, you can only grab six...hustle hustle!" haha!

So... if i must i guess i would say

1)PUB/PLB- the pump and doms from that little fiend are awesome
2)Lower Body Blast- my go to lower body burn
3)IMAX (any of them) because even though they have an ending... you can't even imagine getting there until it's actually over! haha
4)Kick Punch Crunch- because i think kickbox is the BEST core work going and this one has a bit of a bootcamp feel
5) Hiit- enough said
6)STS total body- Hello.... STS+total body!

Great thread

1. 4DS: I agree, you can do almost everything with this one. Its great to weave into a jogging rotation. Split the cardio into two days. Double up your runs with weights: do one day upper body, one day lower body and two different days for core.
2. LIC: Ckt plus you can use the cardio only premix which I love.
3. Low Max: My butt needs the help and its low impact and its over an hour.
4. SJP/SB: Ckt plus a steady state workout, can't beat a deal like that!
5. Step Moves: I reach for this one even when I don't want to workout. Its fun.
6. Athletic Step: Lots of plyos but without the constant counting down of the intervals.

I am not sure why I would grab just 6, they are all in a convenient box. I would grab all of them. ;)

This is tough but I would say:
STS I'm only at Meso 1 but I can already tell the difference
IMAX 2 -fun & intense
Intensity
Muscle MAX
Gym Style series
HiiT

MMA Boxing-soooo fun!
MMA Fusion-soooo fun!
MMA Kickbox-soooo fun!
4 Day Split- I love the kickbox, the step routines, and the weight work in this one!
High Reps-Probably my favorite total body workout
Lower Body Blast-for a real leg burner

Sts Series
HIIT (my favorite)
Intensity
Lower Body Blast
Athletic Step
Stretch Max

Soooo hard. Trying to decide between GS and STS....hmmmm

STS (wins for variety)
Intensity (can't stop doing this one I love it)
B&G (needed for my bottom heavy figure)
High Reps (I find this one to be toughie and I love the challenge)
Step Moves (need this one for lower energy days and it has a great stretch)
HiiT (love to fit these in on weight days because their short and sweet)

PUB/PLB (on the same DVD, so counts as 1!): One of my favorite lower-body workouts, and I like the upper-body as well.

IMAX 2

Interval Max (original): Both of these are athletic step with higher-intensity intervals that aren't over-the-top high impact)

Muscle Max

Bootcamp

Slow and Heavy

If you said only 1 it would be STS, unbelievable program, I am surprised every time I do a rotation how much I love it.

But since I get 6!

1. STS set
2. 4 Day Split
3. STS full body
4. High Reps
5. Kick Punch Crunch
6. HIIT DVD

Why not top 20? Why just 6? ... :p

Oh, okay. My top 6 include, in no particular order:
1. Lowmax
2. Low Impact Circuit
3. Drill Max
4. Step Blast
5. Muscle Max
6. Imax 2

Ahhhhh.....great question! Headache provoking question, more like ;-)

So my "can't live without" top 6.....

1. IMAX 2. I've owned this DVD now for 7/8 years and Cathe's motivational speech on interval 9 always, always, always reduces me to tears. It just gets me!!! Incredible music too!

2. Athletic Step (Oh my - Cathe's blend of choreography doesn't get any better. If Cathe re-released this workout with the music from IMAX2 I'd be the happiest person and yes, I would buy it again! Nothing wrong with the music on AS, please don't misunderstand. I'm just thinking aloud!!)

3. STS (particularly M2 and M3)

4. I'm on the penultimate week of the STS 6month rotation and got 4DS for Christmas, I haven't done it yet but the segments I've previewed look SUPERB! So...4DS would be my No. 4 choice and I can hardly wait to start this series.

5. KPC AND SB (1 DVD!)

6. PUB/PLB

Heck, there's no room for PowerMax or Heavy Bag bonus on MMA Boxing. I missed out LowMax too which is one I also love. Why oh why did you only give the option of 6 only? :)

Cocoloco

Why did I say just 6, "no reason, I just did it", laugh now Imaxers! don't get me wrong, I'm not parting with ANY of my Cathe's, just thought it would be interesting to see what's on other people's list.

In fact if my CC wasn't in quarantine right now (yes, house this, house that, blah, blah, blah) I would be adding to my collection...:) didn't realize it was a torment....luv you guys, you're so funny!
