what gave you the best results with arms?

I am starting to finally see some definition with my shldrs but it has been so slow and was wondering what found to finally get them the cut in there upper body ? I have nice tris and bis but my problem has been the middle delts and I have done extra work just to get what I got now. I want to see that cut in your arm when it hangs straight down like cathe, where the middle delt comes into the bi's. Like I said, I see a little now but man is my arms being stubborn. what got you that extra wow factor with your arms?

Reduce BodyFat (IE: CLEAN EATING!)
 
You can do a search and get loads of info about it, or go to beachbody.com. It is Beachbody's Power 90 Extreme (P90X) with Tony Horton. The series is one of the best, if not the best, well thought out program for heavy weight work. It comes with 12 or 13 DVDs, a rotation program folder, and a fitness folder...all first class stuff. The '90' in the title stands for the 90 day committment to the rotation. :)

If you can only (or only want to) get one P90X workout, then go for "Shoulders and Arms." It can be alternated with Cathe's Slow and Heavy Chest and Back (or the chest and back exercises from another Cathe workout) for an upper-body split.
 
Hi Laura! Here is the original Tank Top Rotation. I have done it in the past and received awesome results in definition.


Day #1: Pure Strength Chest, Back, Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps
Day #2: CTX Leaner Legs
Day #3: CTX Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps plus cardio
Day #4: Cardio
Day #5: MIS
Day #6: Cardio
Day #7: Cardio or rest

As you can see, this routine works shoulders, biceps and triceps three times per week, chest and back twice and legs twice.

NOTE: Marlene (The original poster) also said that she does this rotation for 10 weeks, then switches to a S&H rotation for 3 weeks.


*This rotation will bring definition to your upper body, just remember to go as heavy as you can with weight, but using proper form and able to complete each rep/set. Marlene truly has a winning rotation here! And regardless of what rotation I do, I've found that Marlene's idea of working the shoulders/triceps/biceps 3x/week has been the key to sculpting my upper body in the past. Good Luck!

4 day, super heavy split. Most of this has been done at the gym of late.

For me it was Cathe's Gym Style workouts. I love those workouts. The only problem with them is I never want to move on to anything else. I have done P90X and the whole time I found myself longing to be doing the Gym Style Workouts instead. I also have had good results from the Pyramids and Super Sets Uppper Body Premix (the one where you do it 2 or 3 times).
