What does the D mean?

Don't laugh(not to loud anyway)but I don't know what the D stand for when you refer to you husband as DH. please someone enlighten me,thanks.

Usually "dear", but could mean, "dumb", "dingbat", etc. Whatever delights thee. LOL!

Well, it can mean anything you like, depending on H's behaviour at that given moment.

Let's see:

Dear
Darling
Divine
Dense
Darn (or in extreme circumstances, it's not so nice alternative)

You get the idea, I'm sure

Ahhhh, now I get it Most days I would have to say the D stands for Dear around here.

I personally prefer DT, or Dear (Darn, etc) Turnip. As we have discussed in the past, sometimes DH's have the brains of a root vegetable. Not that there's anything wrong with that....
