Hello ladies!

I would just like some feedback on the Hardcore Extreme workout, it is the only one that I don't have.

I have only done one workout in HCE so far. The one with IMAX and KM. However, my favorite w/o is HSC and there is one section in HCE that is the exact w/o with a few IMAX intervals thrown in, so that may become my favorite.

Nothing should be jiggling, unless it's jiggling off. - Cathe in HSC

Hi, I have not try this workout but I have seen it.HSC is my favorite hardcore workout.I love the circuit workouts.

HC is not my favorite workout but I couldn't sell a Cathe's workout. I have to be careful with the impact of the kickmax challenge and I have to skip the intervals of IMAX 3.I don't want to be injured again.

Thanks ladies!

I was just wondering how everyone liked this workout, I am still debating on buying it or not.

RE: Well funny you ask!

I love the two cardio workouts on HC Extreme. I haven't done the one with the clips from HSC. The two cardio workouts use LM, Imax 3, and KM blasts and they are awesome interval workouts. They are a lot of fun and intense but they give you a little bit of a break with those LM intervals dispersed in. I really like the KM blasts at the end of both these workouts...it's a killer for sure! I do not have the Terminator DVD but I think the biggest complaint about the HC Extreme is the use of only a few workouts and there is not weight work mish mosh included other than the circuit workout that uses a few cycles form HSC. Anyway, I've been sick this week...bleh, but I've used the Extreme cardio a lot since I rec'd my HC's and will get a lot of use out of it in the future.

RE: HC extreme

I didn't buy it either. I bought the other 10 HC's. Sometimes I wish I purchased it because I am doing the fat loss rotation and I have to substitute.

RE: HC extreme

I like it and I'm glad its in my collection. It is not my favorite but I've only done each workout once. I'm newer to Cathe, so the coreography is a bit tricky for me on the compilation DVDs like the Terminator and Hardcore Extreme. I really love the High Step Ciruit on it, as my favorite DVD is the High Step Challenge!!

I really like this one. I like the Circuit one better than the original (HSC) for the most part because it has more cardio interspersed with the weight work. I have used the other two more. It may be like the terminators for me as I do not use the Viper like I do the other two. But then I mainly like Weight work and Cardio separate. I do add these in as I think they are great cross trainers and the HCX has lots of cardio in two so I may use them a lot more than I do Terminators. It is early in getting to know this series.

Hi there

I have only done HCX #2 and I found it to be an exceptionally tough workout, more intense than it looked. I switched from an 8" step for the Low Max segments to a 6" for the IMAX 3 segments. I had to take about a 90s h2o break between the last IMAX segment and the KM blast at the end.

Anyway, it was more intense for me than Low Max, IMAX 3, or Kick Max alone--make sense?

I really like this one and look forward to doing the others next week.

Didn't even bother previewing it &

sold it on e-bay for $45. I have actually sold almost all of the series for near cost. This is the 2nd series I've bought & been disappointed in. I should know better than buying high impact workouts--I can't do them. The last 2 series weight stuff has been too "fancy" for me. I want good, old fashioned REAL gym style stuff. I'm sorry but I have yet to talk to anyone that uses dyna-bands at Bally's or LA Fitness. I guess I could try to do my own thing but that just gets boring. I like having Cathe talking & Cedie counting for me but I haven't been happy with the last few series.

Just my opinion.

I've only done the circuit/interval one so far. I usually base my opinion on a workout by what the HRM gives me because it's so hard to keep my heartrate in my target zone. Any letup in intensity and I'm down under 100 bpm. This Hardcore Extreme circuit kept me in my zone the entire time so I rate it two thumbs up. For the same reason I like the Terminator workouts.

I don't want to lead this discussion offtrack, but I have noticed the same with my heart rate. I have just shrugged it off to individual variation....is that a bad thing? (I don't wear a monitor, but from time to time take my pulse to see how hard I'm working).
