I enjoy a cup of coffee per day as well as an occasional glass of wine. While experts go back and forth constantly as to the pro's and cons of having these items, I have them simply because I enjoy them in moderation.
But recently I had a horrible stomach virus and now I can't put a chip in my mouth ~ lo and behold, my tummy has flatten out. Which is a good thing, of course, but now, everytime I look at my bag of Lay's in the closet, I pout!! I've also decreased my coffee and wine intake.
That virus really put me on a "healthy" eating path, one I had fallen off of once I started getting in shape. I guess I took for granted that even tho I exercise 5-6 days per week, these certain pleasures (chips, wine, coffee) can still pack on the pounds or at least puff up the tummy!
