What are your workouts pre-STS?

Well, I like many others, was on the fence regarding these workouts. However, after reading the latest blog and the posts regarding weights vs. cardio "debate" I'm convinced that I need to shift my focus to weights. Now, I can't wait for STS!

Here's my question: what workouts are you doing between now and when STS arrives? Are you lifting weights? Focusing on cardio? Waiting to start "fresh?" I'm not sure which direction I should go and am wondering what others may be doing.

I'm doing 4DS. Love that series. My next rotation coming up in 10 days or so will be using 4DS weights in a 3 day split. Weights only on the 3 days and alternating cardio on the other days. Cardio will be from wherever, but I'm sure will include some 4DS cardio.

My suggestion is to focus on weights at least 2-3 times per week until you get STS, particularly if your training has not been weights intensive. You could fit some cardio too in your rotation.

There is a thread where SNM had suggested Muscle Max and some other fully body Cathe workouts to someone who was not current;y weight training as suitable preparation for STS, but I could be wrong since this is from memory.

I am trying to stick with Cathe's rotations as suggested each month. I figure she knows better than anyone what we're about to tackle, and she is going to get us as ready as we can. It's going to be a tough wait until they are ready. You think they'll be in our hands by June? That is my optimistic hope.

I think I'm going to alternate Gym Styles and Muscle Max and maybe a few weeks of something different. I haven't really decided yet, but this is what I'm thinking right now. I can't wait for STS!

Hopefully Cathe will come up with a couple of "STS-prep" rotations when the STS release time draws near... :D
For the time being I'm sticking to any rotations that have the word "Strength" in their title...!!!

I'm just finishing week 1 of June '03 "Muscle Strength" and this rotation is amazing!!!!!

My pre-STS rotation right now (more or less):

Week 1-3 Pyramids
Week 4-6 Push Pull, Supersets
Week 7-9 Slow & Heavy

I'm throwing in some cardio here and there, but not much. I'm trying to put on some muscle mass, and it ain't easy.
