Hey, all you Hallmark dissenters... it's not about giving a card or buying an expensive gift. It's about the chance to show friends and family that you care. Spread a little love. You don't have to buy a thing. Cook a special dinner for the family. Call your parents and tell them you love them. It doesn't have to be commercial!

I bought him some chocolates....recommended by Michele. (I couldn't keep a secret and had to tell him.) In response, he told me he booked a trip to Hawaii. I didn't know great chocolates could move a guy to do such a thing.....so from now on it will be chocolates every year!!!!!}(

Robin, I think you should take me with you, after all, if it weren't for me you wouldn't be getting a trip to Hawaii :7

Heck, Michele, I'm still so upset that you didn't tell me about these magical chocolates earlier. Hmmm...maybe the rolling waves, dophins and warm sun will help me get over it.......

Dh leaves for work at 4am, so I'm going to sneak a pair of furry handcuffs into his lunch box.

Then I'm going to decorate the living area like a Hawaiian luau before the kids get up. I saved money for this and got some great stuff. I'll turn up the Beach Boys a little loud to help wake them up. They'll have cinnamon rolls for breakfast (their fave) and then I got them a little something. After school they'll go to my SIL's.

When dh gets home I'll still have the luau theme going and be wearing a grass skirt with bikini. I have a hat and lei for him. We'll have some sort of pineapple drink, something easy like a heart shaped pizza, and then some much needed alone time with each other!

I got him a little something to open, but won't be sharing that}(

I'm very excited for this, but then I love parties!!!
