Looks like everyone got some good workouts in. Today was Intensity for me. Tough workout, but still not as tough as Imax 3, Natty. Imax 3 is one of the toughest and one of my favorites. Good job everybody!
I did slide and glide for the first time yesterday and took the dog on a walk. However, I made lamb ribs for dinner with garlic an rosemary and they were delish. STS DISC 27 biceps, shoulders, and tri-ceps wgich are my favorite upper body parts to work so it should be easy to get my butt in gear.
Nat- Was that the question about eyebrows? Most people are extremely judgemental about anything that has to do with vanity. I thought your post was funny. This is coming from someone behind the trends. I never plucked because I didn't trust myself and wanted to have a professional do it. It was still on my list of things I wanted to do. I guess now that it is passe I can cross it off. Thanks for the letting me know the trends had changed.
Nikki-Your new avatar does look youthful. I said to myself I didn't think she had a daughter only 3 sons.
When you guys do Intensity do you have the little step or do you use the full size one?

Today was Cardio Supersets (express premix with the step). I love cardio! I love what STS is doing for my body (looks and strength wise)but cardio makes me so happy! Endorphins baby! The only thing about that particular workout is that I have to modify some of the disc moves because of my cranky knees. I find disc jacks, cross country ski moves, and the momentum lunges hard on my knees so I break out my rebounder and do the moves on that.

I did STS disc 11 back and triceps today. I love working the back! I like it so much better than working the chest. For those of you who have a tough time with push ups STS Meso 1 is loaded with them. It's crazy! I force myself to do them though because I know they are good for me, but I curse at the tv when I get to the end of a set and collapse!
Ellie-I know what you mean by the house getting over run with fitness stuff! I have pretty much turned my bedroom in to a gym.My husband is actually pretty tolerant of all the stuff I have acquired even though he doesn't work out himself. I really hope he starts soon. He keeps talking about it...when we first met he was a total gym rat and loved working out. It's a bit frustrating because ever since he turned 40 he keeps talking like he is so old! I'm like, come on dude! I know he can do it but I know how tough it is to start.
Natty- that's so funny about the gas and cancer thread. I was reading that too and was like, seriously people? Like getting gas from something you ate isn't waaaay more common than cancer? Have you ever heard the saying, "if you hear hooves, think horses not zebras?" Heh. Sure, it is possible but really anything is possible.
Hm, I was thinking of doing a Michelle Dozois for cardio tomorrow but now I'm leaning toward Circuit Blast. That one is really fun and the time goes quickly!
Have a great afternoon ladies!

Nikki, you look so cute in your new pic! Intensity is probably right up there as one of my fav's. I love the step/hi/low/bootcamp.
Note to self: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES POST A HEALTH QUESTION ON THE OPEN DISCUSSION FORUM. Too many doctors in there. Geeze. No other comment for fear I will offend someone and start a war.
Bad night last night. I am taking a day off to rest. My arms are still sore big time from my UB workout 2 days ago
Good day everyone![]()

Also, I'm busy trying to get a carpools formed for the transition program only from my side of the State.
My Friday workout might have to be HiIT.
Happy Friday!! Have a TON of reading to do today or tomorrow but plan to workout first.
My goal is to start STS in a month but, because of my age, I must keep my workouts strong during the summer. Last one, I did slack.
Natty-hope your daughter is feeling better.
Nikki and Colleen-have fun with STS.
Ellie-have a great weekend.
