!!!!!!Weightloss Challenge - 9/28

no workout today :(. I was up last night w/ cramps, finally fell asleep and didn't wake up until it was time for work, still in pain. I did walk/stand for work but after wanted to just sit in front of the TV. I mustered enough energy to step slowly while watching TV so I did get in a little bit of activity. I'm going to bed early in hopes of making my 5am workout.

Shereta how's your PMS? I was sending you solidarity thoughts today :). good job on the KPC, you're burning up those calories!

I'm glad you're feeling better Melanie. since we (should) spend 1/3 of our lives in bed, we need to get the best mattresses we can afford. sorry for the extra expense, but you're worth it! I do love wait wait... I'm always amazed at their quick wits, I wonder how much they have prepared ahead of time but much of it seems off the cuff. I keep thinking I need to find local grass fed beef too, but haven't put in the effort yet. if you have Netflix you should check out Frankensteer, that'll turn you off of beef for a good while.

Tina your class trip sounds like fun. Did your son like it? I'm not a fan of Bill, but he gives good speeches. Did your diet get back on course today? I hear there's healthy food at subway :).

Good morning - this morning was Turbo Barre LB Express. I haven't done this one in a loooooong time and all I can say is "ouchy!!"

Tina - I laughed out loud when I read your quote from Wait Wait - I think that was my favourite segment of the show last week! :)

Its so good to hear that your daughter is getting into workouts, and it must make you feel good that she recognizes that you're in awesome shape! Those Hiits are HARD workouts! And you've mastered them! Hopefully your example will keep having a positive influence on her.

Sue - really sorry to hear that you're not feeling well! What a trooper you are for trying to get in some activity. Are you feeling any better today? Were you able to get up at 5?

Hey, Ladies. Quick checkin. I did Premix of Trisets today. Love it. Short and to the point. Will try to do Crossfire tomorrow.
 
I didn't get up at 5am for my walk/run so I did HiiT 30/30 a few minutes ago. It was tough but knowing it's only 30 minutes kept me going. I'm feeling better today, but my back was still crying for ibuprofen this morning. This is the first time in many years I've had a difficult cycle. I didn't know how lucky I was! Did you guys hear the part about the 9 meals a day on wait wait? That was my favorite - just wait a couple of minutes, it'll be time for blunch.

Tina - it is great your daughter knows how hard you work out and you set a good example. Get 'em going early :)

Melanie the only reason I was trooper-ish yesterday was because I felt guilty! I should have cut myself a little more slack, but now I know stepping in front of the TV is a good use of some brain-dead time. Good job on TB, that one needs to make it into my line-up next week. My favorite part is the firewalker bands, I hate the floor work (because I'm terrible at it).

Shereta - Good luck on Crossfire tomorrow. I don't have the new workouts yet - they scare me :) How's your diet doing?
