!!!!!!!!Weightloss Challenge 10/5

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the suggestion Sue on replacing a heavy cardio day with Hiit. I'm going to do that. Just because its only 30 minutes doesn't mean it doesn't do anything! I have to change my attitude about that (always thinking that cardio has to be 60 minutes plus!).

This morning I did Muscle Max and really felt it in the abs section - those jack-knife crunches are tough! Sue - we're in it together on this core thing right? I like your plan to work on a couple of core workouts until you have them mastered and then moving on.

BTW Sue, how are your energy levels?

So far I really like myfitnesspal. I chose it because it has a good recipe builder, and its pretty easy to enter my food for the day. Plus I can customize my protein/fat/carb ratio, which I've set at 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbs. Its pretty interesting so far to try to keep within those ratios and choosing the proper foods to do so.

Tina - glad to hear your "enjoying" STS again - heehee!! Have you taken your measurements or taken your picture? It may be a good idea rather than depending on the scale to see the difference in your body after STS.

Is your daughter still into Cathe KB?

I'd like to take my bodyfat measurement. That might help me keep things in perspective when the number on the scale isn't moving.

Hey, Ladies. quick post. No workout for two days, life, life, life.

Melanie, I hear you on the cardio. I need weights for losing inches and feeling stronger. I just love cardio. SO much fun.
