Weighted Vest

A 10lb vest, that's it! You would grow quickly out of this size.

I would like to see Cathe offer at least a 40lb adjustable vest.

Hi All! 2008 was the launch year for our new products but we plan to continue to make more products every year. I opted for the initial launch of the 10 pound vest due to its contoured fit. So far, the adustable vests that I have come across are too bulky so we are working with designers in China to come up with a more contoured fit above 10 pounds. But the 10 pound vest fits beautifully and is a very nice "ramp up" for push ups, walking lunges, hi-rep squats, and really adds intensity during standing portions of leg strength/endurance workouts (ever try wearing one of these while doing Legs and Glutes, wink). The only time I don't care for a weighted vest is when the body is tilted forward as in deadlifts. The forward hinge feels a little awkward with the weight shifting. However, if you're not happy with only a 10 pound increase, then sure, wait to find exactly what you want....but the current 10 pound vest is totally useful and effective for a many types of workout purposes. Enjoy!

Hi Cathe,

I love the look of the vest and plan to purchase it.

Would you recommend it for doing cardio?
