Weighted vest & plyo legs

oh wow, that sounds like torture...although, when i think about it, my goal is sometimes to get doms. lots of people consider that torture. i probably would do it if i could.
 
I got an email yesterday with workout tips from Mike Geary (I get his newsletter) and he says he's been using a weighted vest on hikes and body weight workouts. He mentioned plyo pushups (ha... I'll pass thanks) and jump lunges and squats. Says he's getting great results. I don't have the vest yet, but am thinking of getting one and thought it might be fun to try it on the plyo workout. I suppose you can just take it off if it's too much.

I never get DOMS, except when I haven't worked out for a long time. Then once I've been back into it for a week or so, I don't get it anymore.
 
i just read part of mike greary's blog. it reminds me of tom venuto's (sp?). kinda like listening to an infomercial with some info that could be true/helpful to fat loss.

OMG seriously?? No DOMS? I had DOMS for THREE DAYS from Plyo Legs and I only used 10# DB's for the weight work!!! Some people just aren't prone to it I guess. I get it but it can be completely unpredictable in terms of what work outs will and won't do it for me.
