Morning gang!

Very sore in lats today and inner thighs & quads... YEAH!

Today is:
P90X Doubles: Phase 1 / Week 3 / Day 4 Wed / Round 2
YOGA: YogaX- first 30 minutes + Brian Kest Beginners
+
Killer Kicks (low impact)

Received new Tracey Staehle's yesterday... Heres the lowdown so far
*I didn’t buy step – got PLENTY of that!

*The Kick & HiLo look different enough to keep me interested… Kick is 60min HiLo is 30
*HiLo has 2 premixes…1 is an 18 minute all HiLo combos add on and one is a 44 minute KB Drills + HiLo.

*Sculpt Sweatfest looks like it can get some good use.
Actually 2 /30 minute workouts.
*Section 1 is no equipment- starts with floor and moves to standing (I like that!)… Lots of planks, Abs, unique leg lifts and 1 rotator cuff exercise…. Standing is quads & hammies and butt.
*Section 2 is all Standing – in intro she says its “Rehab & balance Focused” – stability ball, Bosu (don’t have one) lite weights, dips and stuff on ball.
Premixes look good on this one…
*Belly Burner: 9 minute all ab routines
*Balance Challenge: 18 minutes all balance work (bosu & sb)
*Bottom Blast: 24 minute Lower (standing & Floor)
*Burn It Up: 31 minute upper work (standing & Floor)

*Core Conditioning looks like a GREAT 48 minute Core
…Its nicely chaptered so you can pick and choose focus areas…lower back, lower abs etc… The only thing that I winced at in my very short actual listening time was she keeps saying OK- Its like she doesn’t know what to say to explain the moves… I can live with that tho…. This is actually a release from awhile back- I didn’t hear that in the Sweatfast stuff.

That’s it on my reviews until after I actually find a way to fit them all in…

CHERYL: That is just awesome about the scale down already! Goal weight is back in site- Way to make it happen!

AMY: That was some "errands" day! Got my big one today! Wendells sick with a flu bug...first time he has ever had anything more than a sinus infection.... A good day for me o be out of house! }( Battered fish is a must have once in awhile- aint no thing! How are those legs this morning???

LORI: :7 LOL at how exciting it must be to eat whatever you want without fears of making baby sick! We non-moms take all that for granted!!! Sounds like DS likes watching mommy sweat! Great role modeling!!!!

MARY: Yes TTOM seems to always hit at worst possible time! Some months all the symptoms are worse than others tho....I LOVE when I dream of departed ... I really believe they are visiting us to make sure we are OK. You are not crazy at all about phone messages... I think you should always save them. Want to know what "crazy" lookjs like? DH had his last dog cremated and we have the ashes front & center in living room... Now thats a bit bizarre for even me. I had to tell him that when Sandy (my girl of 15 years) goes I really dont want that done. He thought that was weird. ! Hope today is a good day for you,

Belinda: WHAT A WORKOUT!!! Imax 2 ^^5 + 10 segments of Ab Hits! OH MY! Hows that core today?

Amelia: Hope you got outside for your walk yesterday... I just love when it warms up! Still staying off the scale? On the studying... Cheryl & Amy are the only gals who know - all our other regulars have left... I am studing for my AFPA Certification for Personal Training. I have a May 31st deadline but at the rate I'm going I may need an extension... Its pretty darn difficult- may as well be in med school!

Traci, thanks for the low down on the workouts! Your DH is soon going to send you back to work...someones gotta pay for these workouts;) I think my next purchase will be the P90X series but that won't be yet for a while. I think my workout time will be cut down greatly when I go back to work and I have to juggle, work, family and house. I may have to alternate between cardio days and weight days.Anywho....Ill deal with that later.

Im not sure what I am doing today. The plan was going to be cardio and legs but my mom and dad came last night so I will spending most of the day with her. I gave her some gift certificates last yr for the spa and she wants to use them up today. I may go with her and get my hair cut. I desperately need something done but its curly and I have no clue what to do with it.Sometimes I just want to cut it off but I know I will regret it if I do.

Good Morning, Gang!

The legs are telling me that they got worked yesterday!}( Oh, the hammies/glutes are singing!

Just a quick check in out of hibernation to see what the gang is doing before climbing back into the bed. It feels strange to have to work on a Wednesday again. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday used to be my normal work schedule up until 1 1/2 yrs ago. Now it feels very different.

I also have an appointment for a facial and a haircut next Tuesday. My hair is getting too long so that it flips where I don't want it to, so time to chop it off. I cancelled my last facial because if Dr'
s appointments, so my face is screaming for Lisa now!;-) She also does my waxing as well, so after that, my professional grooming boxes will be checked and the rest is up to me!;-)

Traci-I think you would be a fantastic personal Trainer!Sounds great! I'm almost scared to buy any other workout but cathe, Sweatfest does sound like a good one though! have a great workout!

Lori-last summer I chopped about 3inches off my hair,and still regret it,I didn't realize how slow my hair actually grew,yikes! And its sooooo thin too,I quit putting the usual highlighting on it(every six months)and stopped all the harsh treatment,flat ironing really screwed up my hair! I've even went to the doc about it,He reminded me that I did have gestainional dibetes(sp) while pregnate with my last child and my hair growth was interupted(more like falling out)anywhot,its a "growing" progress:D! Have fun w/parents today!

Amy-Im sooo jealous of your Doms,did upper/lower/abbs and walk 45 mins yesturday and still no soarness,bummer! Glad to see you getting some sleep now days;-)

Belinda-sounds like great workout,have fun!

Im still unsure what to do today,thinking of taking a rest!maybe some strecthing! Don't know!

Well,Ladies,guess Im off to start the day! I did end up jumping on the scale yesturday(not today,so far)and was up 5pds since saturday,I just keep reminding my self that its water weight(hope). I'm sooo tired of that darn scale effecting how I feel,thinking about putting it up and only WI once a month when I measure!...bbl!
 
Hi, everyone!

I was exhausted and slept in after yesterday's 5 a.m. rise... almost contemplated taking a rest day again this week, but no, I think I won't :)

I'm going to try out KP&C at last after everything I've been reading and hearing.

A funny story - last night was the nutrition group at my house. I decided to make some PB/Oatmeal muffins for the ladies and forgot to put in the milk and they were DRY, BROWN and HARD AS ROCKS!! I was so embarrassed, and of course no time to bake any more.

So I served a different treat instead - greek yogurt with granola - but boy was my face red. Just not my day.

Amelia, drat the water gain!!! I feel for ya, gal.

Amy, the grooming appointments sound like fun, actually. I am getting my hair cut on Friday afternoon.

Traci, so glad for the sore legs!!! A sign of your hard work. And I'm probably about to join you after KPC.

Belinda, have fun - can't wait to hear how that workout comes out.

Lori, have a wonderful day today with your parents! It must feel so good to see people when you've lost your weight so quickly. Very fun when people notice.

I did the Bonus Cardio}( GS C & T have to wait unitl later this afternoon! A friend of mine had a baby 10 days ago and I am taking her grocery shopping:) :) She doesn't have a car!!!

Good morning...whoops afternoon;-) this day is flying by, i cant believe i am posting so late. today i went with ryhmic step and butts and guts. my legs are fried:) i am going out to dinner later so i may allow myself a little cheat night. i still have to put the kids down for their nap so i will be back

traci:my lats are soooo sore from kenpo x, that is a great workout. my dh is at the vet right now with our mastiff and he too would keep barneys ashes on the mantle:)

lori:today is my cardio and leg day too. sometimes i love legs and other times not so much. i fine leaner legs to be a great leg workout

amy:make me an appointment for a facial too:)

belinda:enjoy gs, how is your day going?

amelia: i am with you once an month wi would be better for me too

cheryl:how was kpc. i am really liking the kickbox thing right now.
 
hey ladies,wanted to check in before my DH gets home and before I hit the books for studing!

I was wondering if anybody has a hard time with the back kicks in kpc,im thinking its because iam short or maybe because its still all new to me!( or possible my weight)

Mary-I just weighed(agian)this week!thats my third time so farx(!but on a happier note I lost all my water weight!:7 (I didn't drink my water on sat/sun like I was suppose too}( !)

Hi, everyone! Enjoying everyone's notes from the day.

I liked KPC okay - but I would have liked it even better if I had started earlier so I could really apply myself. I kept getting interuppted and ended up doing only 35 min. of the kickbox routines followed by the ab section, for a total 45 min workout. Light for the day. Maybe should have taken the rest day, but didn't want to.

Want to do PUB at least if not PUB plus 45 min TM tomorrow a.m.

Amelia, I actually love the back kicks :)

Belinda, good luck on the GS Chest and tri's - great choice for a workout.

Amy, was today your haircut?? Can't wait to hear how that goes. Always fun, I think.

I am finally done with GS Chest and Tri. This morning I already did the Bonus Cardio!

Tomorrow I am doing GS Legs! I hope!!!

I have to take my friend early in the morning 7.45 a.m. to the doctor!

Cheryl- I am glad that you liked KPC. Yes, it's one that you need to have time to concentrate on. No, DH's appt for his haircut was today, mine is next Tuesday.

Mary- Glad you liked Kenpo. I love that workout...especially without shoes/socks! I feel like my shoes cause too much friction and catch on the carpet, thus like I'm twisting my knee too much, but shoeless it feels great! I feel like I can concentrate on my kicks and punches better instead of worrying about my knee! (got the idea from Traci!)

Nothing else going on. I hope that everyone is sound asleep (Rylan!!!;-) )
