Hey Gang!!
Well, I woke up from my nap this afternoon with a couple of self realizations....
SR #1- It felt really good to get to working out again on Monday!
SR #2- Legs DOMS, although, nice, make working a 12 hr shift as a nurse a bit on the difficult side (not to mention the funny looks you receive when you can't walk right!!!}( )
SR#3- Cardio Kicks MAY not be the best choice of a workout the day AFTER GS legs when the only thing NOT screaming in pain is your feet!!!
SR#4- Continued leg DOMS AND upper back DOMS makes for an unscheduled rest day!!!
Teddygirl- I am so sorry about the fall. I really hope that nothing is seriously hurt!!! Don't worry about not working out, you'll get back into it and better than ever!!!
Amelia- Sorry about the quad pull! This goes for both of you on the "injured reserve" list....lots of rest, ice, and anti-inflammatories (motrin or naprosyn)
Well, my tummy was happy this morning. I debated on getting something bad, but decided against it because nothing appealed to me, so I went with my standard.....grilled chicken breast and a side of steamed hashbrowns (they will do that for you Amelia....tastes like a baked potato!).
Well, it's 8 hrs later and the tummy isn't happy anymore! I am in search of some nibblies.....Traci, your pancakes sound wonderful! I will have to try them soon!
My boss came to me this morning and asked if there were other days that I'd like to switch around, so I may be changing up a bit in the next few weeks. I really don't care when I work as long as they pay me my normal pay, right???:7
