Morning Guys!

Today is Pilates Abs by Jennifer Kries & Core Cardio (Master Series).
Legs feeling nice and toasty after yesterdays Legs MishMosh!

JANE: Hope you have a great workout today and that Day 3 of Clean Eating went off without a hitch!

Cheryl: Are you and partner officially split already? Sounds like you're hitting the ground running! Hope you got much accomplished with writing last night....

Gidget: Hope you got to sleep more than a couple of hours last night! At what age do little ones start sleeping thru the night?

BELINDA: Great job getting Boot Camp done! I always feel so accomplished after all those terminator thrusts... evon tho mine dont look like Cathe's. ha

TEDDYGIRL: Hope you woke up feeling like dreaded cold is OUTTA HERE! Good for you on starting your rotation this weekend so it works for you. I doubt our bodies care what day of the week it is!

AMY: So what crazy workout did you end up doing yesterday? My crystal ball tells me it was tough!

LoriS: Happy WI Day regardless of scale! You are on the right track so dont let anything derail you!!!

I can't beleive I am the second one up...unless someone else is posting while I post, which is quit possible.
Its a beautiful morning here, almost makes me feel like i can go for a walk but I bet its to cold and to icy to take a little one put. I an't wait for the Spring to come, Im gonna be pushing that stroller all over town!

Traci, I did get a good nights sleep and I feel like a million bucks! Actually, he is still sleeping and I am up. He went to bed at 11:30 and woke at 4:30 and 7. Thats not bad at all. I don't know when they start sleeping through the night but even one feeding would make me happy.

I was wondering yesterday who else is on a diet around here besides for me? I never hear anyone complaining about being hungry or following off the wagon. And how much do each of you have to lose? My first goal is my pre preg weight and then I would like to get to 125 lbs which is only 4 lbs lighter then my pre preg weight but I may have to stop breastfeeding to see that number.

I think my workout today is going to be GS T,C and a run. When the little one gets up he needs to be feed and bathed and then I am free to start my workout.

Morning,

How is every one today? :) the weather is warm in Ohio? and I like it :) hopefully the snow will continue to melt. I feel so much better today, I went straight home NO Nyquil, enough was in me I just wanted to sleep and sleep I did:7 :7

I slept so good last night, that I did a crazy thing tis morning, I worked out. I died!!!!! But I finished the course ;) ;) I had the nerves to do Butts & Guts/leg blasts I started at 5:15am and finished at 7 took me that long b/c every time I did an exercise I (((((((((HAD)))))))) to go lay down for a few minutes or longer. I know I am sick but, its time to get busy. Oh, left Valentine candy at my desk I have know fear of it :9 :9 I'm in control. But, I have plans to open in 3 weeks :9

Teddygirl: LOL on workout.... Cure or kill ya!

Gidget: Oh I think all of us are still in "losing weight" mode but I guess we just think of working out as a more positive approach to it all! Since eating clean past 6 months - year my calories are based on the rotation I'm doing. When I'm in building muscle rotations I eat 1600-1800 a day CLEAN and when I'm in leaning mode like now I eat 1200-1500 day CLEAN. I am 5'5 - Weight holdng steady this month at 127 .... goal at lean stage 120.... goal in muscle building 125.
I really dont freak a whole lot about "cheat foods" because its fairly rare for me. My body completely rejects processed foods now so just the awful sluggish, hungover, headache feelings I get from processed foods, cheap carbs or sugar is enough to keep me clean for weeks & weeks at a time! If you ever want to post your food etc... Go for it! There are lots of us that can probably help with issues like hunger etc....
I learned the hard way.... a calorie IS NOT a calorie... not in how it looks on your thighs nor how it fills you up.:7

Gooood Moooorning! Wednesday already.

Traci, yes, I finished my writing projects last night. Woo hoo! The split isn't official yet, but the partner knows its coming, so i'm anticipating mid March or so for the finale. Hopefully by April 1 for sure. I'm feeling better and better about this.

Lori, I think we're all on weight loss efforts of some sort. I'm proceeding slowly and trying to make it more of a lifestyle. In January I just lost 2 pounds, but am feeling good about the progress given I'm trying to build muscle as well.

Speaking of which - yesterday morning I weighed in and nearly died... was up 2 1/2 pounds after the holiday weekend. Also started TOM so that may have been a lot of it. But gotta reverse that, fast!! x( x( x(

Teddygirl, oh my goodness, what an effort your workout must have been. I'm glad you survived! I hope you do okay today and that it didn't make your sickness worse.

I had thoughts of starting the S&H series this morning, but with my chest and lower body still toasty from the last 2 days (and with my weight up a bit yesterday) I'm thinking straight cardio instead for today. I'm pulling out Imax (the original) and giving it a whirl.

Poor Teddygirl...well, atleast you got it done!:) You sound like myself last week. I didn't have to lie down b/c I didn't even start but who was I kidding when I thought I might get a workout in last Wed. I could barely get off of the couch! Thank God that was a week ago now!

Traci, you sound like you are at a good weight. I still have the mindset that the pregnancy weight is just going to melt off. I should be catching on by now that the last 15 lbs Im gonna have to work off.I shouldn' complain though b/c I did gain 45 lbs:eek:

Well, baby is up,feed and bsthed. I even have my weights gathered up so I am ready to go. Just waited to chat with the little one before I put him in his swing and start ignoring him;)

Hey, that Interval Max is pretty fun stuff. Glad I pulled it out. A decent challenge, but easy enough it didn't require me to "think". That's a good thing today - LOL

Off to the grindstone - more writing to do today. Another big day at the office. In a good way, of course :)

Good Morning, and yes, it's morning! DH has a doctor's appt today and he also wants to stop by the body shop to check on the truck. He ventured out this last weekend and thinks he may have found the location of the accident. If it was, then DH is one lucky fellow....another couple of feet and he would have been rolling down an embankment into the water!!!

LoriG- Yes, we all are pretty much in weight loss mode, some are better with that (Traci, Cheryl) than others (me);-) x( . Speaking of falling off the wagon, I gave in to the B&J ice cream that was in the freezer last night! Oh, well!!!

Yesterday, I sucked it up and did Boot Camp. I'm a wee bit sore in my lats, but feel good otherwise. I know that when I do that workout, I need to do it when I don't work. I pause frequently after the cardio/leg portions to let my HR down. It ends up being an interval workout, and takes me longer, but I can push myself and give everything to every section when I do it that way. After I finally got done (yes I even did a few Terminator thrusts from the floor, then had to go to the step for Cheryl's modification) I popped in Stretch Max and did one section of that. BC's stretch section is only 1 1/2 min long and I like to stretch after something like that a lot longer!

Oh, a couple of NSV's to report- 1) I was actually able to do big girl push-ups yesterday (I have been trying them off and on the past couple of weeks and am able to do 5-10 depending on when in the workout they fall)!! 2) I increased my tricep work weight from 5# to 8#!! I didn't even realize it until yesterday when I got done with the lying extensions and put the 8s away!!! 3) Lastly, I am able to do planks on my hands and feet now!!! I can't stay up for the entire time Cathe/crew does, but it's more than 2 seconds!!!

Okay, enough, since I did a circuit workout yesterday, I need to find something else to do instead of L&G today.

Traci- I am glad that you are liking the rotation you set up for yourself. It sounds like a great workout yesterday!!! I am going to finish out Cathe's Feb rotation and then use this last week to figure out a different one. There was a "less cardio/more weight" rotation posted on the Open Discussion board about a month ago that I printed. I just need to dig that up and try that.

Cheryl- Congrats on a swift parting! I know that something like that can be long and drawn out! Don't worry about the weight, knowing you, it'll be off in a couple of days!!!

Don’t worry about me, I am okay:) Starting to feel like me ole self again, much, much better, even my back, which was probably from laying in bed for 2.5 days. I’m okay and ready to bring it!!!

I’m going straight home to bed, needing rest for tomorrow’s workout. Everyone keep up the good work!!!!!!!!

Hey all, just got back from DH's doctor's appt. I knew that he was coming down with something because he's done nothing but sleep for the past 3 days....well, he's got Strep throat. How he got it, who knows!!! Also, when we were leaving for the dr's appt, the rental car had a HUGE oil leak all over the garage floor and drive way!!! So much so that the oil dipstick was dry!!! It hadn't been driven since Monday, so who knows what happened. Anyway, the tow truck just came to pick up the car (it was pretty much un-driveable or else the engine would have seized up and then blown up) and DH and the driver looked at the bottom of the car and determined that it was a main engine gasket leak (manufacturer defect) so we were thankful that nothing had happened while we were driving it!!!

Oh My gosh you guys, I was up 5 lbs. I told my Leader I was really struggling, could not find a point base where I was aatisfied, and losing, so I suggested Core, and she seconded it. So, that is what I am going to do.

I did LIC today. Will be back tomorrow, busy day today!!

Hi, everyone -

Amy, that rotation looks very lower body intensive... that's my only comment; that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Lately I'm doing lower body focused weights more like once a week and hit it a second time with either a total body workout or a circuit.

I'm hoping for lean/toned legs but more building and definition on the upper body, so that's why I'm tending that direction. I kind of liked fitness Freak's rotation, but with xtra cardio }(

LoriSax, ooooh, I feel your frustration! Hopefully yoru leader is onto something. Not sure I could do Core. I'm liking SparkPeople but then having the option of taking the data to a personal trainer or nutritionist for input where needed. Nice that it's all there so precise, plus it's forcing me to try to BEHAVE!!! :( :( :(

Tomorrow's another day. Dang it, everything else has been going so well for you, of late... are there too many treats at the jewelry parties? ;)

Hey Girls,

Just checking in after a great day. I decided to go to work after lunch today for a visit and then to the grocery store. It was just nice to get out of the house!
I did my workout as planned today. I did a 40 min interval run and GS C&T. It was a good workout even though I didn't want to run! I really didn't want to do anything! But I was happy when it was over.

I don't know what tomorrows workout will be. It will be just cardio I think but I am dying to try DM.
I may check back again later!
