Hi gang! Hope all is well this morning...

Today is Lower Day... Doing a mish mosh of Tonys Legs from Sweat 5/6, Plyo Legs, P90X Legs, PlyoX. Should be a fun filled sweaty mixture!

JANE: Day 2 in the bag! ^^^^^^5! Tell me the GS Cookies are gone now! I'd have given 20 bucks for a box of those last night.... went to bed instead. So Cardio Fusion in its entirety eh? Thats a fat burner for sure!

AMY: Hope your sleep/wake clock has shifted back to weekday zone & you are feeling ready for a great day! Hope you have fun time thrown in with regular grind this week.

Cheryl: The album is GREAT! How much fun is that kind of a visit? I just value those generational photos so much. Thank you for sharing with us! MIC + PUB again yesterday? WOW woman! No wonder you shrink! Your body sure loves the cardio.

GIDGET: LOVE that at least youre getting gifts out of DH's guilt! LOL
Great workout for you as well yesterday! Intervals 2 days in a row? My knees would be speaking unkindly to me.

Traci - yep.. CF in its entirety. That is one nice sweatfest! The cookies are gone!! No more GS cookies!!! Day 2 is definitely in the bag and looking for day 3 now... I'm almost through with Tosca's book. It makes a lot of sense, and I definitely have to tweak my diet some... I eat quite a few unclean things that I thought were clean. However, I cannot/will not give up my 1 Tbls of coffee creamer (the yummy flavored ones!) In my second cup of coffee, I use plain creamer that is a third of the calories....

Yes, it's back to work. Oh well. This should be a good productive work week, and I can't even say how excited I am to break back out on my own.

Jane, I agree with you completely on Tosca's book. I loved it, but I can't be quite that strict or I would break down in eventual binges. I like the 90% rule. Sounds like you're there with me on the flavored creamer - can't say I blame you a bit!

Tracie, my weekend, (((SICK))) since Saturday, had a (((BAD)) cold and still dozy from all of the Medicine/Nyquil wanted to stay home one moreeeeeeeee day, but I hafta to come to work.

I was in Bed Saturday around 2pm, after I did KPC & parts of L&G I could barely make it through but I did. That’s when I noticed, hey! I’m not feeling good. In bed Sunday, Monday and I had to come to work today, hope I make it. I am so weak and my back aches…That’s was my weekend. I’ll check in Later ;( ;(

Day 1: GS Chest only, Low Max #1-4 premix - 70 minutes
Day 2: GS Back only, KP&C Cardio Conditioning premix - 57 minutes
Day 3: GS Legs - 67 minutes
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: GS Shoulders only, Low Max #4-7 premix - 67 minutes
Day 6: GS Biceps only, any IMAX workout - 1 hr. 1/2
Day 7: GS Triceps only, HSC - 93 mintues

Week 2 & 4:

Day 1: S&H Chest only, Step Blast - all by challenge - 71 minutes
Day 2: S&H Back (including planks and supermans), CTX Kickbox cardio only - 69 minutes
Day 3: S&H Legs - Legs only
Day 4: S&H SHoulders only, CTX 10-10-10 cardio - 70 minutes
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: S&H Biceps only, any IMAX workout - 90 minutes
Day 7: S&H Triceps only, HSTA - 93 minutes

This is a rotation I did this summer which really gave me good muscle tone and definition. The first week is combining Gym Style and Slow & Heavy and its tough. I did the weight portion of this rotation in the morning and did the cardio in the evenings. Be sure to do this 1st week safely, as both series are considered advanced. I can guarantee, you will be sore. (I am also going to post a fat loss rotation soon).

WEEK 1
Day 1: GS Chest: 72 pushups; S&H Chest only, skip pushups; GS Chest only, do not do the close grip presses; IMAX 3 step only.
Day 2: S&H Triceps only, no dips; GS Triceps only; 10-10-10 cardio only.
Day 3: S&H Back Only, double arm rows & pullovers only; GS Back only, entire section; S&H Back, Superman's, Prone & Supine Planks; IMAX 2.
Day 4: S&H Shoulders only; GS Shoulders only; Muscle Endurance Abs.
Day 5: S&H Biceps only; GS Biceps only; Cardio & Weights Step premix only.
Day 6: REST!!!

WEEK 2 (started week 2 on the 7th day, not sure why, so day 7 is day 1 of this new week)
Day 1: PUB Chest only; Pure Strength Chest only
Day 2: Step Blast
Day 3: PUB Triceps only; PS Triceps only; All Step cardio only, Core Max #3.
Day 4: PUB Back only; PS Back only; GS Back: Low back exercises only; SJ&P Step premix only; SJ&P abs.
Day 5: PUB Shoulders only; PS Shoulders only; All Step cardio only.
Day 6: PUB Biceps only; PS Biceps only; Step & Interval step only, Power Circuit Abs.
Day 7: REST!!!

WEEK 3:
Day 1: CTX Chest only; Body Max Chest only; CTX Tri's only; BM Tri's only.
Day 2: Low Max; Stretch Max #3
Day 3: CTX Back only; BM Back only; CTX Shoulders only; BM Shoulders only.
Day 4: Rhythmic Step
Day 5: CTX Bi's only; BM Bi's only; Pure Strength Legs; PS Legs & Abs Ab section.
Day 6: Step, Jump & Pump Step & Hi/Lo premix & all of Step Blast
Day 7: Muscle Intensity Chest only; Muscle Max Chest only; MIS Tri's only; MM Tri's only; MM abs

WEEK 4:
Day 1: REST!!!
Day 2: MIS Back only; MM Back only; MIS Shoulders; MM Shoulder only; IMAX 3.
Day 3: Step Heat
Day 4: MIS Bi's only; MM Bi's only; MM Lower Body premix.
Day 5: REST!!!
Day 6: High Step Challenge
Day 7: Cardio & Weights only; C&W abs.
Made up a new rotation for those of you who want to build up good muscle mass and get good definition as well.

One word of caution: while doing the first week using S&H and Power Hour workouts, you have to really switch gears when you go from doing slow and heavy reps to endurance reps. Be careful and go light when you get the Power Hour. Use as heavy a weight as you can doing S&H. Same goes for the rest of the weeks rotation, although going from PUB to MM isn't that big of a change, but you can try to increase your weights with PUB a bit and try to go to failure by the time you get the the heaviest weights and 8 reps. The first workout for each body part should be as heavy as you can go - but always listen to your body and be safe.

I would plan for at least an hour and 20 minutes for each workout, I didn't have time to figure out exact times on these.

WEEK #1:
Day 1: a.m. S&H Chest only/Power Hour Chest only, Coremax #1; p.m.
yoga of choice.
Day 2: S&H Back only (do supermans, prone planks & supine planks
after PH), PH Back only, Cardio & Weights step only premix.
Day 3: S&H Shoulders only/PH Shoulders only, abs from Kick, Punch &
Crunch.
Day 4: a.m. S&H Tri's only/PH Tri's only, 10-10-10 cardio only; p.m.
Yoga of choice.
Day 5: S&H Bi's only/PH Bi's only, Step Blast premix doing Combo 1,
3 & Challenge (44 min.)
Day 6: S&H Legs only/PH Legs only
Day 7: REST or Stretch Max #1

WEEK #2:
Day 1: Pyramid Upper Body Chest only/Muscle Max Chest only, PUB Back
only/MM Back only, Step, Jump & Pump abs.
Day 2: IMAX 2, 1 hour yoga of choice (split these up, do either or
in a.m. and p.m.)
Day 3: PUB Shoulders/MM Shoulders, Coremax #3 (easy day, in prep for
tomorrow workout.)
Day 4: Step Blast/SJ&P Premix: Step & Hi/Lo (90 min.); yoga in p.m.
Day 5: PUB Tri's/MM Tri's, PUB Bi's/MM Bi's; All Step Abs & Power
Hour Abs (this is a great combo and its on Ab Hits if you
have it)
Day 6: PLB Legs standing only/MM Legs only premix/PLB Floorwork;
p.m. yoga of choice - you will need it!
Day 7: REST!

WEEK #3:
Day 1: Gym Style Chest only/MIS Chest only; Rhythmic step section
#1, #2, #3 (no step challenge).
Day 2: GS Back only/MIS Back only, ME abs; yoga in p.m.
Day 3: GS Shoulders only/MIS Shoulders only, CTX Kickbox cardio only.
Day 4: GS Tri's only/MIS Tri's only, Coremax #2; yoga in p.m.
day 5: GS Bi's only/MIS Bi's only, Low Max step premix sections #1-
#4.
Day 6: GS Legs, Cardio & Weights abs & CTX Kickbox abs
Day 7: REST or Stretch Max #3

WEEK #4:
Day 1: Pure Strength Chest only/Body Max Chest only, PS Back only/BM

Sounds like everyone as a goo day planned, although I feel Teddygirls pain! I didn't know you could catch the cold through the computer?:eek: But I tihnk you have what I had, its horrible!

Traci, yes I milked it:) When he screws up he knows it and I didn't even have to say anything to him. Not only am I getting 2 new pairs of sneaks....but 3! He ordered me a 100% waterproof pair as well, then one for running and one for aerobics. I was complaining that my joints hurt and it could be b/c of my sneaks but I read yesterday that it takes a yr after pregnancy for our joints to return to normal and thats what they are hurting. Needless to say, i won't be waiting a yr to work out!:) have a good workout, sounds like your gonna be toasty.

Teddygirl, sorry to here your sick. I know how you feel. I kept saying...tomorrow I will feel better...tomorrow I will feel better. And eventually I did feel better. Im just glad Rylan didn't get it.

Belinda, have fun with BC. One of my favs!

Im not sure what my workout is today but I need to figure it out soon b/c i want to get it done before lunch and thats in 1 hours time:eek: I think I am going to do just straight cardio today and I am surprised to say that I am not to sore from yesterdays workout.

Good Morning....TeddyGirl, I hope you feel better soon. I can feel your pain thru the computer.

I have been SO blessed at my jewelry shows this last month. I had one last night. The gal had 15 ladies there. Only about 1/2 ordered, but these people had me running from one side of the room to the other. 5 people booked shows from me. They were LINING UP!!! Can you believe it?? I had 3 gals in a line while I had my calendar out to book shows. It was unbelieveable. I am still so excited today. GOD has been so good to me!!!! I also had a girl from my WW's group call me yesterday when I was on my way to my show, and tell me she wanted to have a jewelry show! That is 2 times in the last month someone has called me, I do not think it happened once all year last year. She works at Steelcase, where I used to work, so we have chit chatted at the meetings about Steelcase, and so on. I told her once I did Premier, and she told me her neighbors like to have Premier Shows. So, when we came out with the new catalogue, I gave her one, and asked her if she would give it to her neighbors, and if they wanted to have a jewelry show, to call me. It was about a month ago, and I have not seen her since then, and she called me yesterday, and said she wanted to have one!!

I am sorry, you guys probably do not care about jewelry shows, but for me, I love doing the shows, and it has just been such a fun month!!

I am sore from the TimeSavers yesterday. Today will be some kind of cardio, I do not know which one yet. I am kinda thinking Imax, I have not done that one in awhile.

Tomorrow is my WI. I really do not want to go so she can tell me for $12 dollars that my weight is up. But, I also have to face the music, and I ate horrible for 4 days. I need the meetings, and I need to get back on track, which I am, but it is easier to slip w/o meetings to hold you accountable. For me it is anyway. I am going on a Premier Trip in April to Nashville for 3 days, and I have to wear a bathing suit. I want to be at my goal!

I do not have anywhere to go for the next 2 days. No appointments, nothing. Today I am going with my mom to get a pedicure at the nail place in town. That will be fun. I am going to catch up on home, enjoy my home, and family, and knit to my heart's content.

I was actually planning to mix GS and S&H this next few weeks - and except that I am adding on more cardio, this looks very much like what I was thinking to do, so very helpful!!

LoriS, congrats on the jewelry parties. Wow. You are an entrepreneur, girl!! Yes, going to your WI will be productive even if you don't like the results. It will help inspire you back to your goals.

Well, finished up the hour TM run and GS Legs as planned. Now I can have a great day!

Okay, let’s talk KPC & L&G babe :7 I loved it....lovedddd ittt the premixes our awesome. I watched partically all of them Friday night, but first, I made me a bag of Kettle corn laid in my bed you’d of thought I was at the movies or something :D I mentioned this b/c for some reason the DVD would not play in my workout room just kept saying insert disk, duh! its in there. But, on me DVD player in bedroom no problem, so I’m going to email Nancy asking for a replacement. Da’s all folks

Back to report that I did Imax 2 and abs! What a great workout:) When I started I had intentions of doing all 10 intervals but when I got going I was thinking I would be happy with 5 intervals}( butttttttttttttttttttttttt...I kept going and did all 10 intervals:7 Before I was preggo I did that workout on a 8 inch step but now I do it on a 6 inch step, I think thats the only way my joints will let me get through it.Whatever works!

Teddygirl,I think with a nasty cold like that, we should only catch one once a yr! Thats my second one since the new year;(

Lori, glad to hear your show went well.And I hope your weigh in goes good to!

Nice work ;) your strength and endurances are returning. I hate colds sometimes they’re mild and sometimes they can be devastating like this one :(

I just ran out to Walgreens for over counter meds. Don’t laugh, but, I got side track, big time. They have Valentine candy 75% off. Don’t laugh. I brought a few boxes of Turtle’s $14.99 I got for $3 and some change each. Not going to open YET!

Instead, of candy, I am eating a tasty spinach salad I made w/tomato, radish, fruit salad, ff croutons, 1 egg, onions, dressing is Ken’s FF Raspberry Pecan and it is soooooo dam good. Oh, this get ya, with a can of Sardines OUCH!!! But I love em keep cans at me desk :9 :9 back to me salad :9 :9
 
Hey all!!! Well, I'm back in the land of the awake again! I went to bed about 10 last night and didn't wake up until about 1045 this morning! (Sorry Gidget) I usually do that the day after I get off of my work schedule, it helps me get into the day/night mode instead of the night/day mode.

Sipping coffee as we speak and debating on whether or not I want to tackle Boot Camp today.

Gidget- Way cool on getting more sneaks!! Congrats on the Imax 2! I haven't even considered trying that one on the 8" step!!! I feel lucky just to get through it on the 6"!!!

Traci- I hope that you have a good workout! I am actually thinking about switching BC with L&G today so we all can have a leg day!

Cheryl- So when will the 'big break' happen? I'm excited for you!!!

LoriS- Wow, that's totally awesome about your shows! I know that when it comes to those types of things, they are either feast or famine! I am glad that it's the latter for you!!!

Off to munch some oatmeal now that it's done steaming. Let that settle, then decide on a workout. I desperately need a pedicure this week as well!:eek:
 
My Lower Mish Mosh has left my quads a-burning, my butt a-blasted, & my mood elevated beyond belief! It came in right at 50 minutes and I kept HR up with lite jogs while changing DVDs - Takes no time at all since Tony so kindly scrolls exercise name on screen! I have split all the DVDs up into what I call Legs 1, Legs 2, Legs 3. So every 3rd day I just go to the next one. 1 set each because the Master Series is just the X variations so I still get benefit of multiple sets but varied in form to hit legs & booty REAL GOOD!
So I guess yesterdays emotional funk was indeed more about missing doing something that I enjoy, plus that works, plus at a pace I can master depth. This workout was actually much more of what I call Interval as HR was way up for the duration of DVD then had a few minutes to drop. Even with the Imax's my HR doesnt get down low enough in step segments so I am in an hour + of anaerobic state. That could also be why my body doesnt respond.
ANYWAY!
Well made just one more small teeny purchase... Billy Blanks Ab Bootcamp... got it for 7.50 (total w/ shipping) thru Amazon. 30 minutes mainly standing- Will see if between that & Pilates I can get some ab action going. Its more of a cardio/Abs so thats always good! Now I'm set on new DVDs... Due to arrive in next 10 days:
*Ab Bootcamp
*New York Body Plan Circuit (has Upper Circuit & Lower Circuit Mixes)
*Billy Blanks Kick Cardio Circuit 1 & 2. Will wait to hear more reviews on tracey Staehle's Abs and thats it for me! Credit Card is in file cabinet where it belongs!

TEDDYGIRL: You poor baby- Its been a heck of a month for you so far eh? Hope you are feeling better already and that your little chocolate stash stays safely wrapped for awhile. Remember that it is not proven that chocolate cures the common cold!:D WOW on all the great rotation stuff! You sure are keeping my printer hopping lately! Thanks for sharing! (BTW: I love sardines too!) Glad you are happy with L&G! Its a great feeling to know you made a good purchase isnt it?

LORI S: I LOVE hearing about your business! Its wonderful when people share all the positives of being in the business world...normally you hear all the gripes & garbage...refreshing to be with a group of ladies that love their work. Glad tsavers did the job and Imax the day after is certainly brave! Do whatever you need to to feel refocused (re WI). Its all a number on the scale so just dont beat yourself up- use it as positive motivation.

Just checking in after dinner to see whats on the shake. Not a whole lot happening here. In the evenings I pretty much just wait to go to bed:) Can you blame me?

Traci, you have no idea how well I fit in. Before I got preggo my workouts were crazy, not to mention that there probably was no real need in working out as long as I did. I have bit of a sweet tooth so I think I worked out more to compensate for my eating:)

Teddygirl, I can understand you not wanting to wait until Mon. Why don't you start on Sat then? I would.

Amy, Im looking forward to getting some new sneaks, its been a while since I had new running shoes. I ordered them from a catolouge though so hopefully they fit when they get here.
