Up at 2:15 but DH slept in guest room (he apologized but said that was the only way he can function all day anymore!)I am bright eyed & bushy tailed this morning so will start soon on what is a very busy day -

Its actually a great combo (tho a bit long) as GS is an entirely different kind of workout so I should be hitting legs & booty from every possible muscle combo. We'll see if I can walk later! I may split it up over the course of the day but sometimes thats more "painful!"}(

Traci - Your leg fest you have you walking funny today!:+ How many hours of sleep do you actually get each night! I had a time a couple of years ago when I was waking up around 2 a.m. each morning and going to bed about 9. It was not a pleasant time!

Oh no computer & $$ stressors! What a day my friend, I so hope you are able to tackle it one challenge at a time! If LTD is anything like dealing w/ medicare/medicaid I will get ready to send the Anti CRAZY PILLS! I swear I spent 6 months on HOLD trying to figure out moms insurance last year. What is it about Tortilla Chips? If ya really look at them and smell them and taste them without salsa they really are a boring tasteless little chip.... So why cant we stay away from them??? Hope you are rested and ready to tackle all of what Today will bring! {{{{{AMY}}}}

Seems like news is getting better each day for DS! What a wonderful gift this must be for you. GREAT news about car insurance too! Its too bad we have to think about those kinds of things when recovery should be top thought but thats the kicker isnt it? MIS certainly sounds like it helped work out the stress bug-a- boos! GREAT JOB in taking care of YOU and getting it done! Oh yes Jane this sleep pattern kills me! I drift to sleep at 9ish and then ALWAYS have to get up for bathroom around 2. Some days I am groggy and go right back to bed till 4 but many times that little walk to bathroom wakes me right up and I am good to go until 1-2pm! CRAZY

I so understand about trying to fit in evening workouts. I know mentally they are very difficult for me but once I start I am usually feeling pretty strong. They also tend to keep me from over eating dinner. I usually do something lite then have a protein drink after workout. (not that I do all that many PM workouts mind you!) On the AP's. I ate every last point given when I was doing points. My baseline was 20 and I was cardio-ing it for almost 2 hours a day... I was HUNGRY all the time! Actually when I DIDN'T eat them Imy weight loss stalled BIG TIME! But every bodys different so try a couple of ways for about 2 weeks each way and see what works for you.

THANKS again on the water critque & scale gain. I drank 100 Oz yesterday and was down about a pound this morning. First time scale is down since last Thursday. I will continue today and we shall see!

Good Morning-

Well, it looks like another day of chasing DH into bed from a standing/sleeping position. What really kills me and almosts gets me to the point of killing himx( is that he will sit in a chair, weaving, waving, mumbling, and nodding, all while asleep (!) and when I tell him to lay down, he says, "okay, I'm heading that way". He NEVER gets there! Next I find him in another room doing the same thing!!! Tell him again, he jumps, "Okay", but NEVER gets there! This goes on and on and on and on and he just doesn't get it! What's so hard about going to lay down when you are caught sleeping standing/sitting up!!! The classic, though, is when I catch him, and he finds out that there's fresh coffee, he'll get himself a cup...."coffee soothes me and puts me to sleep" is the answer I get....yeah, whatever!

Traci- I hope that your legs let you know that they got worked! I also have a Leg Fest day, although not quite to your extent! I will be doing Meaner Legs today and maybe a little extra cardio on the Monster if they are up to it!

Well, I think that I have finally made the decision to talk to my doctor about the stalling weight loss. I don't think that there's any thyroid issues in my family, but that's not to say that I can't be the first. That and the laundry list of hormone levels that Cheryl so kindly provided and I will see if there's something that needs to be addressed on that front! Except for last November when I was so sick, I haven't lost ANY weight since last May!!! I have just been playing with the same pounds up and down!

I will check later to see what everyone is up to!

Morning,

I feel very rested today I got about good 9 hours of sleep and it felted so nice, needing to purge my system from the weekend. I got up around 4:30 laid there and watched Divorce Court :+ I just started watching program and it really cracks me up, followed by 30 minutes of news.

To tell the truth I had to make myself get up really wanted to turn back over and sleep another hour. But, I didn’t I got up only to face Imax 2 :p I’ll check in later.

Good Morning Ladies,

I had a pretty good nights sleep last night so I think I am ready to face the day. But when I was feeding the baby earlier I noticed a lump above my right breast. I don't know if I have a blocked milk duct or if its been there for a while and I didn't notice it. I guess I will have to make an apt to see the Dr.

Traci, I think i will eat my points when i am hungriest. Or like tomorrow night DH wants to go out for wings and nachos. I could probably eat some nachos but no wings for me! It might make the baby gassy and its not worth that. Plus its a great excuse to stick to my diet...blame everything on the baby.

Well, i thought today was a run but its LM. Should be good. I havent done that one in a while and as I recall its a leg burner! If I have the ime I may also do the weight seg I missed yesterday for BM2.

Aw….Tracie GS Legs I’m feeling that one it’s on for tomorrow, I was going to do MIS but, GS Legs sounds better, thanks! I hate when I’ve a unplanned rest days I missed Sunday workout to, it throws off my whole flow for the week then its’ back to the drawing board sort of speak but its all good just as long as I get in 2 upper body workouts this week I’m good;-) x( :) ;-)
 
Goooood Moooooorning - checking in from S.F. this morning. The flight was last night. The hotel is actually quite nice, amazingly. There's enough room on my floor I could have brought Kick Max!!! Oh well. I'm going to check out the workout room treadmills and if I don't like the looks of that, it's Keep It Up/Six Pack.

Now for a few personals.

TRACI!!!! GS Legs PLUS Firm It Up???? Oh. My. Gosh. I've only gotten to the point in recent months that I can do Firm It Up at all. I told my Ya Ya friends I couldn't do it and still run. (Yeah right). It still makes me walk funny, all by itself (and it's on tap here in SF for tomorrow). You're crazy girl, and I totally respect you. (bow, bow, bow) And one pound down after drinking the water .... you may have found your answer. Regardless, very cool!!!

Amy, I'm laughing about you trying not to kill DH. Go easy on him, okay, girl, he's a man. That explains everything. On the doctor - I'm glad to hear you're going to check into it. Will be interesting to see if there's something up. Good call!

Lori, glad the baby let you sleep a little. Funny about the nachos and wings - oy! - now there's a dieter's disaster trip. Good luck with that date!

Teddygirl - waking up only to face iMax 2 - there could be worse things to wake up to. I really like that one!

Happy to report Leg Fest is completed before 8:00am… WooHoo! I actually really loved this Mish Mosh. GS Legs Standing Timesaver + Firm It Up Slim Series. I had forgotten how Firm it Up was laid out…. 25 minutes standing KickMax Type Drills with 200,000 one leg & dble leg squats – hit the floor for 15 minutes of various butt crunches until you can no longer tolerate the pain + 10 minutes of Abs all High End various crunches … OUCHIE WAWA!!

AMY AMY AMY: What are we going to do with you? Cheryl is right on … He’s a MAN. No further explanation needed!!!! You need to come hang out with me for a few weeks… Just the girls (&dogs) all day from 5am til 6:30pm!! We can read, workout, shop, chat it up, cook all the fun stuff! Open invitation! I am happy to hear that you are going to talk with your Doc…. Lets face it girl SOMETHING is causing the stall… As you all so aptly pointed out to me yesterday Its just about IMPOSSIBLE to burn the calories we do, eat clean (as we normally do) take in the calorie count we do and NOT lose weight. You just go take that list of Cheryl’s to Doc and demand the entire work up be done… if they poo- poo you then you go to another one until you find one that will do it.

Hi everyone....On my rotation is Imax, but I think I will do Step Heat today. I am tired, and I just need something simple. I have the Classics DVD, but have never used it, so today may be the day.

I have a Jewelry Show tonight, and I am looking forward to it. The weather here has been awful, and it is 2 hours away. My husband is going to drive me. I really appreciate him doing that, but I hate it when he takes me. It is very boring to him, and sometimes I feel like I have to rush!!

Everyone sounds like they are doing so well.

Amy, I am sorry about your plateauing problem. I would be very frustrated.

TeddyGirl, I see how you do BM2 every week, a cardio premix. I did the Cardio Blast premix once, and tried it the second time and struggled. After halfway, I put in something different. I have not brought myself to try it again. Everyone raves about it, and I won't do it!! I will again someday when the mood hits me right.

My shoulders are very sore today from PUB yesterday.

Woo Hoo...the baby co-operated with me just long enough to finish LM and get a shower! put him in his swing and during seg #3 he fell asleep and woke up right at the end.Now, if he would jusy let me get some lunch.:) Im starving but apparently so is he and his needs come before mine.
The lump seems to be going down. I've been massaging it and putting hot water on it so maybe its breaking up.
I think I am going to head out today and visit some friends. Beats sitting around the house all day.

The workout room was CRAMMED and had only 2 treadmills and 4 pieces of cardio equipment total... and it was too cold to run outside, so it was down to Keep it Up/Six Pack (From beachbody.com Debbie Seibers - same series as Firm it Up), so that was 50 minutes plus 20 minutes of jogging in place in the room.

I have to tell you - compared to the press tour 6-7 weeks ago this workout now feels like a cupcake. Plus there's a mirror in the room - haven't seen myself working out in ages. It was an eye opener as to how far the Cathe rotations (esp. January) have helped me come, particularly with the weight workouts. I am so happy!

Definitely crystalized what I'll be doing for the next couple of months- variations on the Cathe January rotation (lots of GS, PUB/PLB and Slow and Heavy) with added cardio, mixed up plenty, and perhaps a hard interval or circuit workout once a week.

Coupled with clean eating. Until this program puts me on a plateau, this is where I'm sticking!!

Lori, glad you got that workout in!! Yayy, for a cooperative baby.

Amy - I'm thinking about you a lot. Even if the doctor finds answers, it won't be an instant fix... and the other thing you would probably want to look at then is really mixing things up. Advanced strategies like calorie zig-zagging, heavy weight days followed by shock-your-body interval cardio days, BFL style, and completely clean Tosca Reno style eating. I know you can do it! But I agree with you 100% that the doctor and the hormone testing is the right place to start.
We love you!!! Anyone who can lose 80 pounds is going to be able to go the rest of the way no matter what it takes - look how far you've come!

Anyway, back to business. Sigh.

I tell you, if I EAT another thing I’m going to cry my mouth has been going all day. It’s not good for me to keep junk food in my desk. I started good but ended nasty }( }( First I started with,

½ grits & 2 turkey sausage

1c lentil soup & 7 wheat cracker
apple

honey graham crisp
1 butter finger crisp chocolate bar

Now I’m eating
veggie salad and huge grilled pepper burger 3’thick w/onion, swiss cheese & 2 breads

Somebody stop me, anybody please Duh, I feel like %^&*&**&7 If I put anything else in my mouth I going to pass out. Have a great night everyone and, stay warm.

Hey, Campers!!!

WOW, the buns are toasty!!! I just completed Meaner Legs plus an hour on the Monster, 10 min of which were going backwards! That's a bun toaster, there, I'll tell you!!! All topped off with a nice, 15 min stretching session. I may not be able to do Drill Max tomorrow, but I will give it the ole' college try!!! I tried previewing BM1 today as well, I just couldn't do it! You can't hardly hear any music. I won't say that I don't like it, because my momma taught me to at least try something before declaring that!

Cheryl- Thanks for all the thoughts. I know that the hormone thing is not a quick fix, nor is it the 'end all/be all' answer. At least it's a place to start! I completely mixed/changed up the workouts since last May, as well as changing my eating, and zig-zagging my calories. It's just so frustrating, especially since with really cleaning up my eating after mom and dad left, I have actually gained weight! My clothes still fit the same, but the scale keeps going up! ARGH~~ Great job on keeping the workouts going! I tend to let them go by the wayside when I travel!

Well, it's off to the showers!

I am thinking baked chicken breast, roasted brussel sprouts/zucchini for dinner! YUM!
 
Thank you so much for all of your support. Apparently it worked because I am now feeling alot better. Thanks guys. :) This morning I did legs and gluts; in doing so I felt great! However, the scale, having a mind of its own, seemes to have gone up a little . :( As for the imfamous dog, my neighbors dont seem to care so my husband and I decided to call the authorities last night. Perhaps, they will be able to deal with the situation. Not that I have anything against dogs, I do in fact have two dogs that I adopted. However, this one is uncared for and simply left outside to bark 24/7, which is not fare to the dog either. At this point I cant even enjoy my backyard or bare to keep the windows cracked...forgive me for venting but its horrible....anyways have a wonderful day ladies....have to run and pick up my son's car from the dealer. He just turned 18 this weekend and its his first car...how exciting...for him! ;) I'll check in with you ladies tomorow...once again have a fabulous day.

If your clothes are fitting the same and your weight has gone up I wonder if you are gaining some new muscle? That could explain that part of the deal... and if that's some of what's happening it's a good bargain. Ah, the agony...

Belinda, so glad the autorhities came to take care of that dog. At least we hope so. I don't blame you for calling them out.

Teddygirl, oh my goodness, at least you are making healthy food choices.... but would hate to see you slide downhill as the day moves on. All those hard workouts.... you don't want to lose that progress, now you hear??? Is that enough of a lecture??? ;-) :7 :*
