Morning Ladies! Hope life is well & everyone feeling "spunky" today!
Was sound asleep having a nice little dream (about an X - boyfriend)- *Now ladies we were cooking not "COOKING"... He was a chef! * ANYWAY... Woke up to this loud bang at 2:12AM... One of my dogs was wide awake standing at the doggy gate just wagging the tail. She just wanted me to get up and play... didnt have to go outside or anything... just a gate-banger for attention. So DH says Be quiet & of course now I'm awake and crampy so I just get up! Such shall be the day!

Final Tuesday in the X Challenge! Kenpo today- YEAH. Last time to bring it but am also still nursing that tender right shoulder... maybe I'll wear the glove on left hand only??? Also doing a Stretch Segment from Total Body Stretch. I am really liking just adding a 10-15min segment after every workout... Just helping me to loosen up. It is also part of my post X plan/rotation. Speaking of which... I should be ready to post my 8 week rotation very very soon... & get your feedback.

Back w/ personals after a cup of coffee or 2 (with Soy Milk Lite of course!) Came off of the last of the DAILY un-clean foods yesterday....Non Dairy Powdered Creamer. Other than my occasional binge ya sure dont want to come to my house for comfort food cuz it just taint here!

Lunch w/ girlfriend sounds like just what the Dr ordered yesterday! And OF COURSE chocolate cake was on the prescription as well! I hope today finds you settling in with the “news” somewhat. Its all so unsettling those darn unknowns. I think there’s really no healthier way to think of them all except as opportunities – although I’d like to slap people silly sometimes when I hear that! Ha- Takes a bit to get to that point. You are so right about being given the “gift” to see a true struggle in peoples lives. We have some dear friends that went thru a lot of that the past year and I can remember DH saying all the time… We are so blessed…. after every dinner with them. I also know that even tho our challenges appear small in comparison they are still OUR challenges and can be difficult. I have no doubt that at the end is a bright shining star because of all you are in the world.

Even tho we don’t seem to talk a lot about points please post whatever you’d like for feedback/accountability. We are a flexible group in what each of talks about …. I bet you’ll love that FitnessFreak rotation. It looks like a terrific one & I printed it for later this year myself. Hopefully you’ll see more sun in February… I am so emotional driven by sun light & day light hours… ready for summer! (We don’t get spring in Houston)

Good morning,

I was only able to push out 450 cross cable, I did them in sets of 50. I tell ya, Cross Cable really hit all 3 areas, especially the lower abs, nice!!!. My friend (trainer) told me if I do CC 3x a week I’d have a flatter tummy, I'm going to work em hard x( :) also planning to add-on planks to help strengthen my back :eek:

This morning, I was dragging a bit. I took sleeping pills around 6pm last night but did not fall to sleep, I guess it was around 8. Then I woke up around 2:30 and it was down hill ater that, I couldn’t fall back to sleep. I finally got up at 4am turned on my TV made coffee and rested.

This morning, I did MIS & Abs. My upper body is feeling it REAL GOOD, I didn’t go heavy, I used 30’s for chest and back, for biceps and triceps, I used a 25lb barbell and for legs 10lb dumbbells and squats, 30's with barbell.

Call me a mad woman, but, tonight I want to do Cardio Kicks. I'm hoping that CK would help soothe and loosen up my UB :p x( :p :7 I shall see once off work, just may be wishful thinking. But, if I’m not able to do tonight, for sure tomorrow }( :p

Regarding Pro Performance Liquid Protein/Punch. I brought a bottle yesterday. After, I finished my workout this morning, I took 2 Tbsp and man oh man, this stuff is good:9 Has anyone tried liquid protein before? I’m a Whey gal, but figured, its time for a change.

Yes, absorbing the shock waves from the big client announcement yesterday. But it's sinking in. Always something new, and perhaps some new kinds of opportunity. My client has assured me that so long as their own jobs survive they will be fighting hard to make sure I stay on. In any case, nothing will change for at least 5-6 months.

Teddygirl, what a workout. Woo hoo! Always happy for an exercise the hits the lower tum. MIS is awesome, glad you were able to crank that out even though you were dragging.

Amy, are you working today or sleeping in? I hope you're doing well.
I just remembered last night that Feb. 15 is Pres. Day weekend, right? I will be going to Boise that weekend with DH and all of my 5 kids, plus DIL and our grandbaby. We're all piling into the Excursion and heading up to let all the Idaho relatives (my folks and brother and sister) meet the baby. It'll be fun. But I probably can't work out the Pensacola trip this year. (DARN!!)

LoriGidget, how are you doing today?? Hope the nursing saga is going well.

I slept well last night! (after the sleepness Sunday p.m.) I'll be crawling into my exercise room in a few minutes to push out PUB (love it!) and hopefully a little add-on cardio.

My egg whites came last night!!! The friend who's a distributor called apologetically and said they've been here for a week but she got too busy to call. Since they were just $17 a half gallon, $5 for the pump and no shipping through her I didn't mind the delay. I'll try them out after PUB.

Good Morning....On the rotation for today is another try at BM2 cardio. TeddyGirl, I love Cardio Kicks, LOVE that workout. I may try BM2, but if I feel impatient, I will do Cardio Kicks. I may also do Low Max, I haven't done that one in a long time. I have a hard time doing cardio's I can not get the footwork down for, but I need to be patient, and keep trying.

WI is tomorrow. I hope it goes well. I cut myself down to 18 points a day, and I still have like 18 FP's left. I just want to lose a 1/2 lb., I am ok with any loss, just as long as it is a loss. I hate when I follow, and the scale goes up!! I have been feeling much better since I have been incorporating more protein into my diet!!

Can you get that clean eating book at the bookstore, or is it only sold online??

Good morning,
I bought a Body Fat Monitoring Scale from Healthometer yesterday. I wanted to get the WW scale, but they didn't had any more until March.I lost over 9% BF. since Nov. I was hoping for more!! This way I can track my weight change alot better. This morning I got my WW book out to track my points. I can have 20-25 points a day. I also writting everything down what I eat. I am not sure if the point system have changed?
Traci I think I eat about 20-25 points a day? I ate chips on Saturday that is why I didn't eat much Sunday to make up....
This morning I had for B: 1 c Kashi
1 c Soy milk= 5P. 290 cal.
I am eating sushi for lunch.
Today is cardio day for me.

LoriSax, I imagine you can get EatClean from the bookstore, but I think you can get it a little cheaper on Amazon and they do ship right away. Crossing my fingers for you for a little loss on the scale by tomorrow!!

Belinda, 9% bf lost since November???? Girl, you may be our record holder. I wouldn't feel a bit disappointed with that! Glad you got the new scale.

PUB was awesome. I know it well enough to really get maximum benefit by now. Also still enjoying some nice DOMS in my glutes from the Push/Pull on Sunday.

Finishing up with 45 min. on the TM, and then Egg Whites for breakfast. Yum!

It's a wonderful day.

Hey Girls,

Im a little late checking in but don't think that I have been lazy and sleeping all day!:)
When DH came home last night I passed the little guy over and I went to sleep until he needed to be feed at 1, then at 3 and again at 5:50! I think that was the worst night ever! One night he sleeps until 5 and then the next time he is up at 1. I'll never figure him out.
Anyway, I have been busy cleaning all day and then I decided to clean my cupboards and my fridge and that took longer then I thought. SO...I haven't had a chance to workout yet but I plan on doing something soon. DH brought my treadmill home last night so I may do a 30 min run (or how ever long I can last) and I would like to do some leg work as well.
My UB is really sore from yesterdays workout. It feels good though.

GOOD.......uh, Whatever, campers!!!

Yes, I am still here, I just slept in (until noon). I woke up several times throughout the night and laid in bed thinking about "stuff" and then drifted off to sleep thinking that today called for LIC as a workout. Yeah, LIC sounds good to me!

Cheryl- I am so glad that your EW came in! Too bad you didn't get the call to get them last week, but with a price like that, who can complain!? I hope that you have fun on your "excursion" to Idaho! That sounds like fun! I honestly wasn't expecting you to be able to make it to Pensacola this year, anyway, I was just letting you know about the run. This way, it gives me another year to train for it, you know!? I know that there's no way I'd be able to keep up with you speed-wise, but heck, I think I could go that distance! And with Traci cheering us on, we can do ANYTHING!!! I am glad that the turmoil of the client is being staved off for another few months. I hope the dust settles in your favor!! Oh, as for where Pensacola is, just keep following the west coast of Florida up and we're the last stop you can make on the coast before you hit Alabama. Distance? Who knows???

Traci- I am sorry that you had such a rude awakening this morning!!! Like I mentioned earlier, I was up and down throughout the night and one time was about 3a, and I thought about you! Coffee's on! I am glad that you finally took the last step with the coffee creamer! I took that plunge in December and just realized that I have made a habit about of not reaching for it now. I don't know if it's made any difference, but I am more aware of the coffee taste now as well as the different nuances of the different blends/grinds now. I am looking forward to seeing your rotation.

Gidget- I am glad that you are able to get your rest in! I know that it's hard with a new baby. I hope that he decides to sleep all night for you soon!!! Congrats on the TM, too!! Do you want to come clean my cupboards? ;-) :7

Okay, drumroll, I am doing the happy dance this morning - 126.0 pounds!!! Woo hoo! I am closing in on it now. I'm thinking 8 more pounds and then I'll meet with the personal trainer to get his assessment on what should happen from there.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah....

Now I've gotta get back to work. Darn it!!!

.... and I think I smelled your M&M's all the way from Utah, my friend! LOL! Amy, you are an ATHLETE, girlfriend, and I predict it's not so long before I'm going to be literally seeing you run. It'll be so much fun.

Life is good. I'm feeling so much stronger. I wonder what it's going to feel like to run in a body that's no longer thyroid/hormone inhibited and lugging along 26 extra pounds?? I'll have to find out.

I think that me as an athlete is kind of laughable, but then again, I am my own hardest critic!!

Well, LIC is done. WOW is all I can say!!! I had to stop for a breather a couple of times! And those band/barbell curls! Holy moly!!!

It's me and I'm almost back from the land of stressed out financials and audits and budgets and all that corporate yuck stuff. I've been thinking about you, but haven't even had a second to peek in over the past few weeks.

Cheryl - I went back to see what the client news was about, ouch, that is a stresser - I'd be downing some serious chocolate for a few days to get through that. Congrats on the continued weight loss though! Sounds like you're keeping everything in perspective.

Traci - Hi sweetie! Aw come on, who can resist when the baby is looking at you with those puppy dog eyes saying "Momma come play with me!"

Teddygirl - you are a MADWOMAN! Those weights you used make me look like a wimp - you go girl!!

Amy - how are you? glad to see you're still pounding out those workouts!

Lori S- know what you mean about LowMax - that one took forever to get the footwork down - but now I really have fun with it!

Belinda/Gidget - Hi!! I'm been missing from the boards for a bit, but it's great to "meet" you.

Update on this end - the craziness at work is almost over - another week and it should be done. Have another month of crazy at my DD's gymnastics - they host a huge meet every year and I'm part of the team that coordinates it. Then I breath again.

Have been continueing to work out. Holiday weight is being really stubborn (of course I'm not eating nearly as clean a I should). SO yesterday I broke down and started using my tracker again. Let's face it - I know what to do to lose. I just have to actually do it. Still up 7 lbs (4 from Xmas, 3 from before) - I want it all gone.

OK - not sure when I'll get back - but I miss you all!

I do eat a lot of food. Trust mye from what I see how much you girls weight I'm not even close to that weight. I set a goal for Nov.07 to all that weight.

Amy-for someone that woke up throughtout the night I am supriced you awake thinking of LIC. If I don't get a good night sleep I am like a Zombi that day. Good job I always have to stop for a breather.

Claude- it's great to "meet" you ,too.

LoriSax- what rotation are you doing? I did Low Max , but only the primix.

Claude!!!!! We've been thinking about you! So glad you're hanging in there with all of your stress. Glad you started tracking nutrition again. I've been tracking consistently, but just my switch to SparkPeople is teaching me all kinds of things. Now my protein is higher, my fat is lower, and I'm realizing also my fiber was (surprisingly) too low, even with all the unprocessed food.

Belinda, I'm a maniac. Working out generally at least an hour a day (sometimes just 45 minutes) up to at the very most 2 hours. A typical day is at least an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half. An obsession, I know - but Cathe is making it so much fun to get weights and circuits in and I am scared to miss cardio.
