Good Morning Team:)

How is everyone? Im a little lazy today. DS was good last night though so I wasn't up or anything, I have been going to bed to late and I think its catching up with me.
Today is playgroup again but I called the girl who was hosting it and said I didn't think I would be there b/c DS isn't feeling very well. Im still not certain its his teeth but he as flu like symptoms. I thought that maybe there would be a bump or something on his gums today when he woke...but nothing.

A little (actually a lot) disappointed that cksales isn't offering a preorder this time aroundx( I thought that maybe people were complaining b/c the workouts took so long to get released....but now that i think about it, it probably had a lot to do with the dvds that were sticking and they had to send new workouts to everyone. Prehaps the preorder ended up costing them money in the end and they want to wait until all the problems are fixed this time around ( hoping there won't be any problems) I can understand that. Maybe I will get a deal when they are all released....but I am tempted to order from this site!

I think I am just doing a run today, abs and walking lunges and if DS naps for as long as he did yesterday morning, I should be able to fit all of that in and more besides.

Amelia, good job on the workout. When are you going to try BM2? Your gonna love it!

Cheryl, Im just counting point range, wouldn't have a clue how many cals I ate. I should figure it out though, I spent so long counting cals that I am a pro at it now.

Kim, I know it kinda sucks when people show up and you had other plans. HOpefully you will make up for it today.

Mary...so glad your back! Sorry to hear you were sick though:-(

Belinda, gummi bears and choco? Where does that fit into WW's! LOL

Nancy, PS is very dated but its a goodie. I would like to replace all of my VHS workouts with dvds but it just may be a waste of money b/c I don't do all of them that often. I was thinking that all of the premixes would give me different workouts.

Did Step Works this morning - AGAIN - (love that choreography and music, but I think this was my fill for a little while) and now I'm going to finish up with Cardio & Weights, just going easy on lower body since yesterday was GS Legs.

I'm not feeling sore from GS Legs for the first time ever... could this be progress?? Hmmm...

Gooooood Morning Ladies!:)!

Our alarm clock didn't go off so My DH was late for work! Oh well,we got some much needed sleep!

Girls,I have a Wedding to go to in FIVE weeks:7 x( ,I would LOVE to loose atleast 10 pds before then,most of the people attending haven't seen me since I weighed 278! I would love to WOW them,LOL}(! I'd like to loose more, but im going for something a little more realistic;-)!

Lori~I was wondering if your DH is still working out? Needless to say,mine gave up after two WO's! I don't ask him why,he did mention last night that he has to get his mind set...I understand that! I would also love to order the new series,but at the same time consider myself an intermediate and will wait to see how tough the workouts will be!

Cheryl~So glad to hear your having a great week:D,I also did lower body yesterday and my behind is reminding me of it!(gotta love it}( )! I really need to buy cardio and weights mmmmmmm,might go see whats happening at ebay}( !(SHHHHHH,Don't tell DH;-) )

Cheryl, prehaps its time to go heavier? I get a little ticked to when I get up in the morning and don't feel SOMETHING for working out the day before. I think I need to get a good stretch b/c my legs have been pretty tight the last couple of days.

Amelia, DH took 4 days off!:eek: And I kept reminding him...and he came to realize that he has to workout in the mornings or it won't get done, and thats what he did the last 3 mornings. He weighed last night and said "oh yeah, Im putting on weight" lol I asked how much he weighed and he was 145 lbs!:p He as weighed that every since we got together 10 yrs ago.
I also have a wedding the end of July and have no clue what I am wearing! I don't think I am going to buy anything. I am just going to get a loan of something from someone. There are 4 of us that take the same size and it comes in handy!

Alright, workout done. 6 mile run and abs...I ditched the walking lunges! Legs are tight enough already!

Aaagh, my copy of Cardio & Weights won't run!!! It's the only Cathe DVD I've ever had trouble with... there's another copy on eBay that ends in 10 hours... I'm bidding on that one }( }( }( Can't be without my iMax2, and now I really want to have Cardio & Weights since so many people have mentioned it as a favorite of late.

Lori, great workout! I think 6 miles and abs is enough...

I'm stopping with just my 1 hour cardio for today. That's enough.
Lori, you're right, it may be time for me to go heavier on some of my weights if I'm not getting sore :7

Good Morning Ladies!

Hope everyone is doing well! I am planning LIS and PLB for today. Sounds fun to me!! :D I believe that b/w those two and KPC yesterday and my walks, my lower body will be sufficiently worked out! I could not resist weighing myself today and I am now officially smaller than I have been in at least ten years!!! :+ Of course that number is extremely high but I am proud. Last week when I was not feeling well and went to the DR. She look at my chart when she noticed my weight loss and said I was the smallest I had been since I had been coming to her!! I have lost those four pounds I gain last week (TTOM) plus almost two more. I plan to start official weigh ins on Friday morning and I will domy measurements tomorrow morning or tonite and continue to do those every month on the last Friday. You all have me so excited and gave me the encouragement to do this on my own! I can not tell you how much I appreciate your support! I am giving a big July 4th party so I am a bit apprehensive with all the yummy food I have planned but I will just have to double up on the workouts before and after the 4th and keep it in moderation!!

Lori- I am glad to hear that DS had a good night last night. Symptoms do sound like teething. Poor fella!:-( Enjoy your w.o. today!

Cheryl- Step Works sounds fun! I caught Cathe on FitTV this morning and she was doing Step Blast. I considered doing that this evening but I am trying to stick to this rotation until July 1 plus, I need to work on my step skills.;-)

Depending on what the July rotation has, I think I will start this on July 1. I really want to target both body fat and my lower body. Only problem is I do not have Cardio Kicks, but I have plenty other Cathe and non Cathe kickboxing dvds to substitute.

Amelia- You are an inspiration to me! I currently weigh 277.5 as of this morning. That is from 330lb when I first started to try lose. I have been off and on so it has been slow. How long has it taken you to lose the weight you have lost thus far. My goal weight is only 175. I think I would really good at that weight b/c of my height and build (5'8" and curvy).

I done with my cardio! I did LIC Cardio Blast Timesaver again:D What can I say:D I love that one!!!!

Still need to do PH, but I will do this one tonight!

My eating is so far so good}( No more junk!!!! Still have 6 weeks for the RT! I want to lose 15 pounds!

I am going shopping with my DD (bayernbaby) and we are going for sushi later:p :* :9

HEY,HEY,HEY...i hope we are having a super dooper thursday:) :) :) i did a light workout today and i am again loving this zone. now i got on the scale today and i know i should have waited until monday but...down 3 lbs. now i know i always drop very fast at first but even if it is a pound or 2 a week i am HAPPY!! the way it works is that they bring my food at night and it includes breakfast , lunch, dinner and 2 snacks. an example of my days is a cappachino muffin with ricotta cheese, vegetable soup with triangle bread and cheese, crab cakes and green beans with mango salsa, a cookie and a donut with soy milk. now my dh says that this would never fill him up but it is a litle more than ww food and it tastes great!! i will keep you all posted

I got through with my workout,LIS plus did the warm up from body max! My DS kept interupting me so I barely made it through!

Kim~Im flattered to be an inspiration to anbody:)thank you! Your doing so well,You've lost 53 pds, How many people you know can say that? My goal weight is around 140 so I still have quite some time to go. I lost my weight very slowly.I weighed 278 in summer of 2004'. I got pregnate with my son in sept and He was born in may of 05',after the birth I weighed 250(Had gestational diabetes with him,so was on a very strick diet while preg.)Got tired of my wieght so I started working out in janurary of 2006 and by oct of 06 I had lost down to 222,stayed there(plateoued (sp)) up until janurary of this year when I joined ww and now iam at 195. Which im at another plateou(don't know how to spell that:+ )agian! It took me about 16 months to loose 82pds! Im proud of my weightloss,but at the same time it gets very frustrating when I plateou! But i'll figure it out! We can loose the weight together :) !

Belinda-I love LIC,isn't it the most fun;-) BTW,I saw the pic of your DD and your daugter is beutiful! You have a lovely family! I can't order the 4-day split,my DH would do summersalts,LOL! I've spent to much on workouts already! besides I promised him no more WO right now.....I really don't see what the big deal is,they make me happy and if im happy hes happy}(!

Lori-I have no idea what to where to the wedding,guess I have to go buy something! My DH will have to have something new toox( ,and my kids gesh,maybe we shouldn't go}( ! Just kidding,its my niece and I would miss it for the world,she a sweetie pie!

Hey girls -

First full day of summer vacation and I slept until 10:30. Oh, I was up at 5, letting the dog out, made some coffee, and then hought "What am I an idiot?" and went back to bed. It felt good.

I already completed PS Legs and I thought that was another good one. I can really heavy up.

We're leaving on Saturday for the Jersey shore. I'll be gone for two weeks but the last time we were there we were able to connect to someone elses wireless in the neighborhood so we'll be bringing a laptop. I;m hoping to still be able to check-in. I'm not sure yet what workouts we'll be bringing. Last year it was a real drag bringing so many weights with us but the thought of that long of a time without weights turns my stomach. I still don't know what we'll do. We're also going away on July 20th - 28th for a tour of California. I'm really excited about that one but I'm sure there will be no working out then. I think it's a pretty hectic/busy tour so I doubt I'll make the time to workout. Honestly, I don't want to make the time to workout, so my body will get to rest. We have a day to ourselves in Yosemite National Park so the most we'll do it take a hike or something on that one day. Well anyway, I guess I better drag these weights on this trip. I don't want to take the month of July off, lol.

Lori - I hope the baby is feeling good. Yeah, I agree that PS is an oldie but goodie.

Cheryl - I know what you mean about no DOMS. It's amazing what I could do now that I couldn't do a few years ago. I really heavied up today on legs so I'm hoping to feel something too!!!! I get really annoyed when I don't feel it but we ARE IN SHAPE afterall, lol.

Amelia - you reminded me that I wanted to post my meals today and I almost forgot.

B - oatmeal with banana
L - lowfat burrito (from costco)
S - baby bel low fat cheese thingie
D - chicken and veggie stirfry (was gonna make brown rice but now feeling lazy) and a salad
S - ??

I went to weigh in a WW today before the month is up and I lose my lifetime status. I was up .8 lbs. but considering what I've been eating I guess it was pretty good. Now that work is done, I'm hoping I'll be eating way less and much more cleanly.

Kim - you want to target the exact same thing I need to target. Let me know what rotation you decide to go with. LOL about the annoying co-worker!!! I hate being interrupted once I've started.

Belinda - PH was the first workout I bought from Cathe (on VHS) a few years ago. It's such a hard workout....I remember when I first did it I thought I was going to die from all of those squats. I rarely pick it up now (except for the abs) because I prefer splitting it up. I should pick it up now and then.

Hey Mary - So glad you're back. YES, IT'S BRUTAL OUT THERE. Thank God for A/C. So far, no black outs here. It's very dark outside right now.....another storm abrewing, I guess. The zone sounds intereting but it's expensive though, right? I guess you're cooking anyway for everybody else? I wouldn't want to be doing that, lol!

I am back...amelia, i have about 8-10lbs to lose and i would be VERY happy. my body wants to stay around 150 but i like 138-140 so we will see. i have not seen 138 since i was 29(before my 1st son was born) there are carbs on the program but they are limited and i am still taking a cheat day}( on sunday!!
nancy:it is expensive but my dh and i eat out or order in almost every night so i figured what i save eating in will more than make up for it. plus if it gets me back to my fighting weight...it would be worth it:) :) :)
ok off to finish the laundry:) dh is still at work
 
Okay HELP!! What is wrong with me! I just "finished" LIS. I did not exactly finish it b/c it was annoying me! I am so uncoordinated. I want to like step aerobics. I like straight forward step workouts but when you start doing all that turning and going on the other side of the step bench I get lost. I wanna do it. I wanna like it!! It is just that kickboxing came so easy for me and I like that, no love that! I love pumping iron. spinning and other cycling I love. Maybe I do not like it b/c it is challenging. I am at the point now of thinking should I just accept the fact that I do not like step and just sell all my complex step dvds or should I just keep trying help!!!!

Okay I think I will post this in GD too. I am feeling very frustrated here!!!x( x( x( x( x( x(
 
Okay and for my friends here only- I did not post this in GD, I wonder could it be that I am just too heavy for step now? I am very agile. I kick good, not as high as I want in kickboxing, I have good form and stamina, I ride my bike good. I am just feeling fat and uncoordinated and I am not usually one to get down on myslef and like that but that is how I feel today!

Amelia, I didn't quite win Cardio & Weights - I bid $19.50 and it sold at $20. I got a second chance offer from the seller and am thinking it over. The $7.99 shipping would make it nearly $28... for an ebay copy... I may try the YaYa Swap.

Kim, I would suggest starting out with just your step on the floor and no risers or even starting out your step workouts on a small rebounder. A frieind of mine from the YaYa boards who is very heavy is able to do her favorite "dancy" Cathe videos this way so that she doesn't have to live with the damage of high impact at her higher weight. Maybe one of those options would work for you? I wouldn't give it up quite yet.
