Cheryl: I was so excited to read how things went yesterday! WHEW~~~~
What a relief! So whats your next step?

Jane: So happy you check in--ROFL when I read your strategy in Daily Check-In!!! Thats both creative and EXTREME! Hey whatever works!!! I love that you were smart enough to do it... So what does DH do when you start begging, crying, and demanding those keys???? LOL Hope DS is continuing to improve!

Caught everyone else yesterday so here's hoping we are all
feeling well and ready to kick booty today!

I had half of a half of glass wine last night and was instantly SICK. Felt awful in head & tummy. Dam* Clean Living!:D
Today is suppose to be Chest + Abs + Cardio but my body is aching all over from the heavy lifting so I may give it a break from weight work today and just do abs & cardio. I'll tack Chest onto tomorrow maybe.... If I feel strong in a few hours I'll just proceed with original plan... LOL, WHO KNOWS what I"ll end up doing today! Happy morning to all! BBL
 
Hi Everyone,

I missed you guys yesterday. My boss called Tuesday night and said No work Wednesday, I slept real good after hearing that :p :D

This morning workout Imax (1-5) & Pour Hour.

I have decided to change things up a bit. I’m not happy with my UB development, well I shouldn’t think that cuz I don’t really work my UB nearly enough, so I decided to do one body part a day for the next 4 weeks. I will come up with a plan, it shouldn’t be hard. Fitnessfreak and others have excellent rotations, I'm going to peak at a few, should be interesting, huh! never worked one part a day;-) I will check in later.

I opened up a thread at Ya-Ya's, and I shouldn't have. It was titled 'Most UnderRATED Workouts.' They said Barry BootCamp is awesome, kick-butt workouts, and it was only $62 with shipping for 5 DVD's, each having one body part, and an hour of treadmill cardio on them. Something new to try, and mix things up.

Good Morning, ladies!

Well, it's sunny and cold here in Florida....32 degrees. Now, I understand for most of you (except Traci;-) :p _ that that is considered a heat wave...but here, it's cold! Anyway, DH and I have the school bus stop for the middle school right in front of our house and always find it interesting to see the kids NOT wearing jackets in this weather! We don't have kids, but we always wonder where the parents are when we see that!

I was able to get squeezed in with the guy that cuts my hair this morning....thanks goodness!!! I haven't gotten my hair cut since before Mom and Dad were here in December!!! To thank him, I am going to stop at Sonic and get him a cherry slushee! I am also going to take him a bottle of my dad's honey!

Talked to mom yesterday and asked about Dad. Anyway, he is going in to see the doctor in 1 1/2 wks to check on the progress of the hormone therapy before they decide to do the radiation seeding of the prostate. So, there are a couple more weeks to wait before we know.

I had a hard time starting my workout yesterday!! I totally did NOT want to do it! But I dragged my butt up and got going...initially only to do 40 min. Once I got to the 40 min, I said to myself, I can do another 15 min! I was able to get through the first 3 drill of DM on Cardio Fusion, then I just couldn't go anymore! This is like the 3rd or 4th time of me doing Cardio Fusion and each time, I can't make it past the 3rd Drill!!! I just fizzle out! Oh, well, it turned out to be a touch over an hour, so I don't feel like I didn't workout or anything! Today is Power Hour and I may just add in some Monster time for good measure. I'm not going to my WW meeting tonight, so it's not like I'll be pressed for time there.

Sorry for the rambling! You can get back to your regularly scheduled program!;-)

Nothing new with me I got plenty of rest yesterday, I even did Scrambled Eggs for some reason, that workout bout killed me x( I struggle through it but I finished :p Afterwards, took a hot bubble bath, put on my pajamas and did nothing but watched the news all day and it felted wonderful doing nothing. Good thing I got rest, I had to shovel so much snow this morning. I tell ya yesterday was awful.

On my lunch today, I’m heading too Aurora Farm, to Nike outlet store, :p :7 maybe I will find me a pair of workout shoes. Tomorrow, l&g DVD is scheduled YYEEAAHH! I know what I’m going to be doing over the weekend ;-) ;-)

That smile means that I am feeling a little better today:) I was so sick yesterday that when DH came home I started to cry and thats not like me. Although I cry more since I had the baby. I was just so miserable. One minute i was hot, the next cold, i wanted to sleep but couldn't...and the list goes on. I just didn't know where to get to. I ended up having a small nap when he came home and took the baby but it wasn't very long. So today he did the samething and took Rylan to work with him and I crawled back into bed and caught another 2 hours of sleep and I have to say those 2 extra hours did me a world of good. Of course, no workout for me yesterday but now that I have eaten and feel a bit better, I may do a small workout this afternoon. I also wanted to take Rylan out to get him weighed but Im not sure if thats in the cards.

Traci, sorry to hear the wine made you sick. I can't drink wine. Actually, I did drink some strawberry wine one time at christmas and my head felt huge! I got such a headache. I am a pretty fussy drinker though. I can't wait to start lifting heavy again. Some of my weights still aren't here but I can make do with what I have. Right now I am just easing back into it.

Teddygirl, UB was my favorite part to work. Well, considering we only have two parts...upper and lower:p I hate working LB but loved the results I got from the UB.Im sure you will get the results you want, just give it time.

POOR AMY!!! 32 degress....;( ;( ;( I won't even tell you how cold it is here! I haven't been out in days though...LOL But I did hear my inlaws say that it was mild out yesterday...it was 8 degrees. You can imagine how cold it gets here if we consider 8 degrees to be mild:)

Teddygirl: I LOVE 1 body part a day. I work it about 30 minutes. Usually I combine two different tapes.... IE: GS + BM2 or any combination. I also try and look at what workouts do what moves to incorporate more variety. I have a spreadsheet of all of it in excel if you'd like a copy- just PM me. So for example if Slow Heavy does Chest Work of:
Bench Press
Chest Flys
Incline Bench Press
Pushups

I might add the P90X Chest work of:

Standard Push Ups
Military Push Ups
Wide Fly Push Ups
Decline Push Ups
Diamond PushUps
Dive Bomber Push Ups

results are always positive for me as I lift heavier, develop more fat burning muscle and get awesome definition in a months time.

LoriS: LOL Something in the air! I just ordered 2 Tae Bo's to give me some Kick variety. i only have 5 and I do 1-2 a week so I am pretty bored with what I have.

AMY: YES its brrrrrrr cold here as well! Where is summer???? Have a great cut ! I get mine done tomorrow- we got them cut about the same time in Dec it appears!I'm a shaggy long haired dog right now! Thanks for update on your dad.... I hope the next week and half isnt to stressful for you guys. Waiting is a difficult game. AWESOME workout yesterday!!!!! As soon as I do all the new series often enough to know footwork I'll challenge you to Cardio Fusion one day... Maybe that way we can at least get thru the whole thing!

What if, I do a complete UB workout say, Saturday, then on:

Sun: Rest
Mon: Back
Tues: Chest
Wed: Bi’s
Thurs: Tri’s
Fri: Shoulders

Rest a day then start cycle over. I’m I crazy or what….. I’d appreciate your input or suggestions.

Well, I am back and have my so called workout done. I did a 40 min interval run which worked out to be 3.5 miles. Thats the furthest Ive went since I had the baby. And its not b/c I can't go further but b/c I get bored! Im gonna have to find my hand held tetris game or go buy a new one, time flies when I play that game.

Teddy, I saw the best results with my LB when I was doing GS legs 2x a week but it took all my energy to do that. I can't wait to get the time to do cardio and weights again, besides for a circuit workout. I would have loved to have done PUB after my run but that wasn't going to happen. Rylan ate at 11 and its almost 2 here so his eyes should open any time! I also saw great results when I did the Tank Top Rotation. Did you ever try that one? I may do something like that again within the next couple of monthes.
The baby is doing great. He is such a good baby and I don't think he as caught my cold!!!! I was so nervous he would although I am not convinced that I am still not very germy! I wanted to take him out this afternoon to get him weighed but its snowing now so I don't know if thats a good idea. It may calm down in an hour though.

I should go and put some clothes on. Appetite is still not #1 , looking forward to my weigh in on Sun. Its hard to tell if I have lost though b/c I am still in the same old clothes. Maybe I should try on some of my own clothes to see if I can get them on.

Teddygirl... Thats agreat way to get in 2x a week of upper! Just pay attention to your muscle fatigue and add in another rest day if you need. Keep in mind when you are lifting heavy (whatever that # is for you) your muscles MUST have recovery time to grow. Even 1 part a day is hard because you may be working triceps but so many more muscles are also engaged. Today I had to take a lifting rest day because my entire upper body is majorly fatigued and I still have Chest & Shoulders to work for the week. Just be smart about it or the muscle will never develop.

WOO HOO!!! I got my jeans on!!! 6 weeks PP and I can wear my jeans again! Thank God, if I had to slip those maternity pants on one more time I as gonna throw up!

Sorry about the cold weather! Hope you wore a coat!!

My workout was a bit of a mish-mosh this morning - 30 minutes of Supersets (didn't realize I've actually never pulled it out) and 30 minutes of TM intervals. Felt a little lackluster during the weights, but the TM intervals ROCKED. I'm getting my strength back.

Feeling very good about the discussion with the bus. partner. This will be a good thing.
