Welcome Kali!!! This started out as strictly WWer's but has morphed over the months to what you find now!! We like it and it's working for us, so.....
Okay, WI, down .5 lbs. I will TAKE IT!!! I planned on SP to work on losing about .5 lbs/week and I hit it this week. Of course, it would be nice if it were greater, but I will take it!!! I took my measurements as well and I am down 1" in the waist and 1/2" in my hips!!! YIPPEE!!!!
Traci- I will have to check out your DH's site! My Dh already had the surgery before we met and as a result, doesn't "snore" per se, but "purrs". Congrats on the new jeans! I have too much upper thigh/hip to wear men's jeans. For me, talk about "baby got back!!!"
Oh, about that protein stuff, the Lean Dessert Protein? There's only like 2 gm of sugar per serving! Of course, the place was out of it when I went to get it tonight, so I am trying Nitro-tech vanilla, also 1 gm of sugar That was part of my criteria....low sugar, good taste and this is what the gentelman came up with. We'll see!!!
Jane- I am glad that things are starting to look a bit better at work! Just check in when you can, we'll be here!
Cheryl- You're welcome for the help. It was a bit of trial and error for me when I started last September! I just recently started using the pie graph to make sure I'm doing okay....turns out, I do about opposite of their recommendations. My protein is the % they say should be fats and my fats are what they say my protein should be!
OH, I saw a guy tonight at WW meeting that I was active duty with. We were both in the Naval Aviation Choir together and have always gotten along because we both love to cook and have other similar interests. Anyway, he was going to WW meetings when I started 2 yrs ago and we would sit and chat before the meetings started when I was able to attend on Saturday mornings. I know that he's asked about me in the past year because the Thursday and Saturday meetings have the same leader. Anyway, he is there tonight and to several "double-takes" when he saw me! I haven't seen him in a year. He was astonished and said that I look great. I told him that it may sound egotistical, but if he thinks I look good in my sweater and pants, then he needs to wait until I take the sweater off!!! He did and was floored!
The meeting was about hurdles to activity. The leader doesn't like to call it "exercise", but "activity". Anyway, the type of activity she strongly advocates is Leslie Sansone. I had a hard time not piping up (causing problems again!!!}( ) and saying that Leslie Sansone was what I started with, but gave it up 18 months ago because she was too easy!!! I didn't, I was good and kept my mouth shut!!! Now you see why I wasn't getting anywhere all summer with counting points and doing Cathe??? She just didn't get it! Oh Well! I've got youse guys!
