Morning Ladies!
Up at 2am again.... Think I have finally figured it out after 5 years of marriage... DH ALWAYS snores but I have two weeks of good sleep (when hormones are in balance) & the other 2.... well I toss & turn anyway so I just NOTICE the snoring more. Today I decided to stop beating him up and just GET UP! lol
As soon as he gets up today I'll crank out the workout of Legs & Back as I have to meet a friend who was just laid off grom work for a lunch and the retaurant happens to be next door to The Gap so I can go in search of sime jeans that actually fit!

Hey, girl, how'd I know you'd be up???

Yes, well....DH also snores, but not super loud. He got back last night about 9p instead of coming back today. I guess that he was under the impression it would be a 2 day thing, but the other guy was thinking it was going to be a 1 day-er and packed thusly!!! Anyway, DH got home and we caught up on the events of the past 2 days. Bob, the friend was duly impressed that I put Monster together by myself and wants to come over the "play" with it sometime!

DH said that he missed me, and of course asked the loaded question, "did you miss me???" As I am loathe to lie to my husband, I said that I missed him, but not the having to go to sleep with the TV on, the bed twitching (he twitches really bad when he sleeps--muscle spasms), and the snoring in my ear! I said it all with a smile, so there was no heat in the response, but I really DID enjoy having the bed to myself Tuesday night!!!

Well, I finally got on board with the Cardio Coach thing. OMG!! Sean can tickle my ear drums ANY time!!! The thing that I really found interesting is that the workouts are as intense as Cathe (in a different manner, though), but when you are finished, you are mentally refreshed and rejuvinated, not exhausted from concentrating on the step or the combos!!! The mental pictures he's able to paint is amazing!

:eek: AMY: How’s The Monster? Up all night “playing”….?? I bet you see amazing lower body changes because it’s a shock to your body doing something so different…. When I used to go to the community fitness center I’d do the Stairmaster and wow! The first 30 days… My thighs actually reduced- unheard of! Lol How are those hammy’s? Keep those stretched girl! Ya know the “dangers” when they are too tight. My lower back just freaks out when I don’t take care of them.

:eek: CHERYL: If I recall you’ve been using GS a lot lately… Are you getting the results you want? I really think the variety of band work is so awesome for muscle confusion in that series. A master piece! Love the shoulder work especially… but I love shoulders anyway! ^^^^^^^5 on all the kudos from your client! I checked out your company web and am so impressed by all you are / have accomplished! Quite the woman we have in our little WW group! I’m not a techie but DH is… His company is Kommar Solutions (kommarsolutions.com) and I cant even understand exactly what they do after reading the website! Thanks for sharing!!! BTW: If you check it out his name is Wendell Breazeale. Oh I so hope you get your EWI order soon! Makes getting in all that extra protein you need so much easier…. I LOVE the fact that they can be added in liquid form and they don’t alter taste or texture at all! My latest use is adding ½ cup to my hot oatmeal to get the perfect blend of nutrients! I also use ½ cup in my Whey Protein drink after workout…. Yesterday I made a wonderful mid day meal by cooking ½ cup and putting in warm Low Carb High Fiber tortilla w/ Veggie Cheese, spinach, peppers and tomato sauce…. YUM-O! Can ya tell I woke up hungry today? Lolol

I will definitely keep up with using it after P90X as it is so much more effective for back work… I’ll also be popping in the DVD to do it for a full workout… Have you viewed the DVD Workout? I have 2 weeks before I can do that tho as I can’t “lift” on my last recovery week which starts Sunday! The X’ers gang and I are starting up another round March/April to buff out for summer if you care to join us????

VERY funny about DH ..... I would have been "irked" that my alone time was cut short... lol. A girl needs her alone time dont ya think?

Glad he's safe & sound and sounds like his back/neck are ok.

Coach Sean is Mr McDreamy to me! He is a cutie pie x 10 and that voice.... oh lord I have visualizations during CC3! hahahahaha. I dont know anything about the Candace chicks CC's but I would never select a female voice over Seans! I truly mean that... ZERO desire to buy any more unless its MY coach.

Well DH just announced that he needs to sleep in guest room tonight because HE needs some sleep..........lololololololol
Guess my realization came a bit to late! OMG... I dont know why I think thats so funny this morning... I must have a mean bug today... Oh I forgot... My aliens are arriving this week!

Gotta go get that w/out done. Havent worked out this early in ages... BBL
 
The hammies are feeling fine today, it's my upper back now!!! I think that it's because of the arm things on the Monster, though!

I hear you about Candace vs Sean!!! I *did* get the Press Play workout as well and I think that she does the stretch/cool down portion. I even "shared" Sean with DH last night, just a small portion, and DH really liked the music!

TG- How's the shopping go???

Lori- How are you feeling??? I hope that you are listening to your body. Oh, how'd the WI go?

My WI is tonight and this time, I have my alarm clock set just in case I fall asleep again (which is bound to happen since I'm up this early!!!)

While I'm on that side of town (I know that sounds funny, but it takes me 40 min to drive to the other side of town and there's not even that much traffic, it's just that Pensacola is so spread out) I am going to stop in at GNC to pick up some BSN Lean Dessert Protein in Vanilla. I got my Cinnamon roll flavor yesterday and it's super YUM-O!!! Not quite Cinnabon quality, but pretty darn tasty! I decided that I needed some plain vanilla for my days I am not feeling so "cinnamon roll-y".

Oh, Traci- I will have to remember your little wrap thing. It sounds devine, even at 4a!!! LOLOLOL about Wendell needing more sleep!!! I guess he has a hard time sleeping through weight lifting}( }( }( }( ? I know that you'd never kick him out of the bedroom for that, but I still find it's funny that you are the one disturbing his sleep!

Oh, DH told me last night that his friend and him had a great time just chatting during the long drive (it's about 7 hrs to Jacksonville) and that his friend, Bob paid me a very nice compliment on how I am looking. He said that you could tell I am leaning out and toning up and that I am looking great! I thought that was very nice of him! He also said that I'm losing weight again, but I think that it's more loss of BF than anything right now.

Jennifer- keep taking care of yourself!
Jane- I hope that you are doing better. How's Dad? Oh, I've been meaning to ask how your sister has been doing? I haven't seen her here in a while. I hope that she's doing well.
Gayle- I hope that you didn't get swallowed by the abyss that sometimes snatches our people!!!
TG- I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed The Illusionist! I picked up on the end and still really liked it! Edward Norton did a great job!

I think that Imax 2 with some added Imax3 will be on the books tonight. I know that's not on the January rotation, but I think that my CC yesterday counts as a "20 min interval run".

Good morning Traci, Amy and the rest of the WWers....

Daddy is doing well. I called last night and stepmom answered the phone. Daddy had gone to a church committee meeting so he is doing better.

Amy/Traci - Coach Sean is wonderful! I LOVE his voice also. He ALMOST makes you forget you are climbing that hills or racing into one of those sprints...

Weight is trending down as usual after Traci's aliens left me and proceeded to her house. Back down in my range and measurements almost there also. I ordered the Tosca book last week but it hasn't shipped yet.

I haven't downloaded PressPlay yet. Not sure if I'm going to. I have the other eight CC's and I know it is for charity but my Christmas money is long gone and I stick very close to my self-imposed budget... so we'll see.


I did GSL yesterday and BC is on the rotation today. I'm mixing up the workouts this week on the rotation because PUB on Sun and DM on Tuesday left my upper body so sore I could barely lift my arms (funny how that happens sometimes and sometimes it don't)... anyway I wanted a few days before I plunged back into GS UB.

Took a look at your "first Album" pics for the first time.... OMG you have a clone in Houston! One of my aquantances (Angie)... SPITTING IMAGE... You could be twins ABSOLUTELY!

Amy, glad DH made it back safely. Sounds like he really missed you. That is so great, the comments his friend made about you and so sweet that DH shared that with you. He must be feeling really proud.

Traci, I will definitely check Wendell and his company out. That'll be fun! Your EW wrap sounds delicious. What a good idea. Sorry the aliens are lurking. Mine are here, too, but I can't tell yet if it's going to be very bad this time around. Some months pass almost unnoticed. We'll see.

And yes, I ate my protein yesterday - had a nice mexican salad for dinner with lots of black beans, a little cheese and a little pork. As Traci would say, Yum-O!

Hope everyone had a good morning today. I am about to start Rhythmic Step. I've been doing the GS workouts primarily because they are in Cathe's rotation, but I'm really liking them. The added weight work is doing me a lot of good.

On to RS! Lots of fun!

Okay guys, NO workout, No shopping last night. By the time I got off work there was a blizzard going on. Scared me, I hate to drive in that stuff,

This morning, PUB & Abs, I even threw in LIC did the first cycle, Yeaha!!:p

Amy – I'm sure you know, you can now buy noise stripes snorers over the counter.

Tracie – I don’t remember the name of my DG, I tell you it really works the back. I only use it, if I am doing a P90 workout. Do tell me about the Gap jeans. Do you like the fit? I

If the weather permits, I’m going shopping tonight, me and a friend, he’s buying :p :p :p may even stop in New York & Company, I love there tops. I have a coupon, spend $75 get $30 off. They are always sending me coupons. Back to work

Teddygirl, oh dear on the blizzard! Glad you didn't try to go out.

Sounds like you and Traci will both be shopping tonight. Can't wait to hear what both of you find! What a great reward for all your clean eating and workouts.

Rythmic Step was a party, as usual! There's still a spot in the third combo where I get turned around every time - the Kick-instep-heel straddle always leaves me facing the wrong direction - but oh, well. One of these days I'll figure it out. And if I don't, it's still a great cardio workout. Feels like going dancing for an hour.

Cheryl: Sounds like a RS party to me,:D :D nice work. RS is a tough workout, isn’t it? I done it once or twice sometime ago. HM........wonder why I haven’t reached for it more, Now, I am curious, :7 x( I’m going to watch it over weekend, :7 x( I do remember it being sort of dancey, right? I know everyone raves about it. I'm sitting here scoping out your darling DH on his company site. Wow! What he's doing is exactly up our alley. He might be interested in checking out our client Presence Technology (www.presenceid.com) and he may already know our client Altiris (www.altiris.com).
If he's got anything going with any of our clients and is interested in talking to the press for visibility for Kommar, we could use him as a source to talk to Computer Reseller News, VARUBSINESS and Redmond Channel Partner - probably publications he reads and knows. What fun! Maybe we could talk at some point. Those reporters are always hot for fresh integrator sources they can talk to, and that chance to show off his expertise could be good for business. Never hurts :) Now I am even more impressed.

Well ladies I have purchased my wonderful new GAP jeans in 2 sizes smaller than I have been wearing (still 1” above my skinny gap’s) I have had lunch w/ my girlfriend, I have emailed everyone that was waiting responses and yet I have not accomplished my workout as of yet. So much to do in a day! Lol

AMY: So glad your hammy’s are ok today! Upper back? Oh heavens girl… you got some new muscles working there! Good thoughts on the WI I know you’ll have great news to report. How much sugars in that new drink of yours? Sounds great for the PM sweet tooth! I just really gotta watch the sugar content or I blow up.

CHERYL: Your rotation this month sounds really amazing! I’m glad you’re finding a love affair w/ GS…. Now adding in protein? Oh my Lean Machine! LOL on your early morning “parties”… I do believe you are the cardio queen! I think that makes Amy the Cardio Junkie and Tgirl the Pain Goddess! Me… Shoot, I’m weight dude! Thanks for info to pass on to DH. I was telling him about your company last night… I think he’s still trying to wrap his brain around all my friends that I talk about on-line… Hes still a bit perplexed by how these bonds happen on a workout forum! Haha

TGIRL: Did ya get your ½ snow day today??? I would really not be happy driving in all that mess. On the jeans… Gap men’s loose fit have always given me a great sexy look. Women’s jeans of any kind (that I’ve tried… below 60 bucks!) are not right for my body for some reason & Gap Men’s are just too fabulous to turn from. They last forever so 48.00 isn’t awful… last time I bout a pair was at least 6-7 years ago and paid 38.00. Hope you get your shopping spree in this weekend! I sure wish any of that OTC snore stuff worked – spent a small fortune trying every product as it hits the market… For my DH I think it’s a “surgery cure” only and no way he’ll do that.

Traci, the Gap men's loose fit and easy fit have been a longtime favorite of mine, too, for the same reasons. I still have a pair!

Lately I've discovered Lucky's (on eBay of course - wouldn't even think of touching them retail) and I like the women's easy riders and a couple of the other styles - they also have some darling slim fits that really flatter women's figures, but it's a factor of getting the right size!! (I have everything from zero to 6, depending on the cut...)

Ooops! DH has had a car problem - gotta go pick him up from work!!

Just a quick check-in tonight...hello to everyone else.

I must hit the shower and wash off the stink. We are finally nearly caught up at work and management has cut out overtime THANK HEAVEN! We are never forced to work any OT but I always feel guilty when I don't. Thank goodness it is only an eight hour day now!

Jane, so glad you're past the OT grind. Whew!!! Great job on BC. What a fantastic workout, eh? That's the one that first completely sold me on Cathe. And I didn't even buy it for that - I got it on the swap to get ME.

Amy, thanks to all your guidance in using SparkPeople's nutrition log I am sold on it and I'm going to let my weightwatcher.com subscription go when it expires on 2/14. Might as well save the money. I love the exact calorie count and also the nutrition data SP gives you. It's causing me to make some improvements already. Thanks for your help!!!

Hi Ladies.

I read in another thread that you aren't just a "WW" checkin and wondered if I might join you guys. I am definatley trying to lose weight "again". I lost about 30 lbs. and gained 20 back x(x( due to poor eating habits and slacking off in my workouts. I am back on track with my eating and workouts and hoping to lose about 15 lbs. by summer.

This morning I was crunched for time so I did the first 4 combos of LM. Tonight I just got done w/ MIS upper body, and the last 4 combos of LM. I planned to workout again all day but almost didn't so I'm glad I got that 2nd workout in. :)

Look forward to getting to know all of you that I don't already.
