Happy Sunday! Hope everyone survived & thrived on St Patty’s day! I drank red wine vs. green beer. do ya think I jinxed myself for the year??

Toasty Toasty Toasty today.... I actually changed my workouts yesterday - did LowMax w/u + blasts and Amy Bentos Upper premix. Its so weird but since I've been doing blasts only I get a much better leg workout. I think its just because I'm not fatigued from all the step portions and I am giving the blasts more power and depth. I certainly caught myself doing LowMax blasts with a greater amount of strength/quality. That will be something I note for my next life after X rotation. So happy today is Pilates/Yoga as my body needs a good stretching out! MTV Pilates Mix arrived yesterday so I'll be test driving that today*********** PERSONALS **************

OF COURSE I’d come with DH to Utah! Wouldn’t miss the opportunity to hang out with you! Am hoping that it can coincide with a time your sweetie pie is playing in his band too! That would be just way too much fun! So glad you got an outside run in! I think you did great with a 5 miler since you had been so sick. LOL on the clothes! Its like having a whole new wardrobe isn’t it? I was thinking that I would start maintenance but I’m really playing it by ear now. My upper body is perfect for my build but the lower is coming along slower (MUCH BETTER THESE DAYS!). I think I’ll have to stay in losing fat mode until the thighs are as lean as the rest of my legs… What do you think? Will that only happen with fat loss?

Congrats on BM2! That is so much fun – I tend to break it up tho as my attention span isn’t 97 minutes! LOL WooHoo on hand slap!!!! I just love when computers scold us for losing weight!!! 1 month to 120? That’s NOTHING kiddo! You can do it regardless of how long it takes! Hope your evening with friends was delightful!

Finishing workouts at 10pm???? OMG you are dedicated! I like variety in strength training so I adore All Pump Extreme. I know the views here about Amy Bento in general are not always great- if you venture to Amys boards tho her following doesn’t always care for our beloved cathe so I think a lot of it is just people forgetting that there can be many wonderful instructors and its not a loyalty thing. Cathe & Amy are probably great resources for each other and I doubt that any good business person dislikes competition. Its all good! What a little social-ite you are these days! Sounds like a terrific weekend for you. Authentic greek food is to die for! Was there any yogurt in honor of Cherys new obsession??? Did ya get your latest jewls ordered? A breadmaker---- I often think about those but wonder if I’d really just get myself in trouble as I am a carb addict and have been in active recovery for 2 years!

So sorry about your moms delayed homecoming. I’ll hold faith that she is exactly where she needs to be right now. Much love! You mentiond Kenpo… Are you a P90X grad too??? I’m starting another round April 1st. WooHoo on the New Kickbox arrival later this week! I really hope you LOVE it! I get so excited when I find one that’s just not a big ole cardio fest- but rather actually a full body workout with cardio benefits. That’s why I adore Kenpo so much! The results are 100% based on proper execution and power not just HR.

Good Morning!!!

Well, work has been uneventful so far.....but there's still about 10 minutes before the day shift comes in so all he!! could break loose!!!

Traci- I found that P90X yoga really takes a lot out of me, so I stuck with my Crunch Joy of Yoga/Fat burning Yoga for about an hour yesterday. It's very relaxing and not as intense as P90X!!!

DH is doing better today. He is going to try to fold himself into my little Honda Civic tonight and take me to work. Then, tomorrow morning he's going to do it again and pick me up then we're off to pick up the truck from the body shop!!!!:7 :7 :7 They called Friday night about 5pm saying that it was ready to be picked up and that they were going to be there until 6pm....but with DH laid up, it wasn't going to happen then!!! Plus, they're not open on the weekends, so Monday morning it is!!! I am so excited, it will be nice to have it back!!!

I can't remember what tonight's workout is, but I have a feeling that's it's going to be a S&H upper body!
 
Good Morning Girls:)

I am back home again.:) I like being home. My friend also has two small boys, one is 4 and the other is 2 and the 2 yr old doesn't listen the best and I needed to be really careful with the baby there that he wouldn't poke him in the eye or something. I was alittle high strung and I was happier when they were shipped off to bed:) They are good boys its just that I was on pins and needles when they were around.

Traci, I didn't mean 1 month to 120, I mean 1 month to 120's. So I am wondering if I will see 129 in a month....hmm...I wonder.I don't expect to see 120 again in this life time unless I am a feeble old lady:eek: I haven't seen 118 since I was in grade 11. BM2 was a good workout and I am a little sore today. A good sore though.

Amy,I am assuming that this is your last shift for the weekend? Gotta love that. My sister is a nurse and where she works they work 2 days then 2 nights and then they have 4 days off.She really likes it but I don't know how often a weekend off rolls around.

I am alittle crabby today.DD is getting on my nerves. She is gone now so there is a little bit of peace and quiet. I took her computer away from her on Thursday night b/c she was being rude and I think when I do that she tries to torture me so I will give it back to her.

I think today will be a straight run and abs. I also told DH that he isn't going to hockey tonight:7 I love it when I am the boss! He spent all week in the basement, preparing it for last night and then he had some issues at work so he worked until 11 at night. I basically spent all week alone with the baby so I think he can keep is a$$ in one spot tonight.

Gidget- I am sorry that the visit was a bit tense with the toddler! I can certainly understand that!!! No, I have one more shift...I work 3 nights, then off 4. I really like my schedule, but that first day off tends to get a little "lost" in my trying to catch up on sleep!!!

Well, speaking of sleep, I am off to bed. I will "see" you all tonight!
 
Good morning, i hope everyone is having a good day. we had on heck of an ice storm this weekend so i hope it melts soon and spring jumps on in. yesterday i did 45 min. run of the tm and today i may just do the same thing.

traci:i am sort of a p90x grad. i had to take a little break in the midlle because of my knee but otherwise i guess i am.

lori:i totally get the stressful visit. my brothers son is a little more aggresive and not such a good listener. i spend the whole visit watching the kids like a hawk.

amy:glad dh is a little better. enjoy your day off!!

i dont remember who mentioned the ww forum the other day but...i tried posting a little and i found that some of the people were mean. i did not feel the love at all. i am cancelling my subscription after this month and i will do my own wi and continue to check in here.

Amy, will be glad for you when work is finished - and I'm bowing to you on the prospect of S&H upper body, those are tough!! Glad DH is being a good boy and helping you out.

Lori/Gidge - I'm glad, too that you're home. Sounds like you're relieved to be their. Hope DD's mood passes - sounds like you have the source of it pegged!

Traci, my dear Traci, I am with you on staying with fat loss a little longer. I think with all your weight work you can protect that upper body while finally losing the last little bit you'd like from your thighs. I'm actually planning to get weighed and pinch tested by the personal trainer for input on my final fine tuning but he hasn't called me back for that appointment yet, so until he does I'm staying the course. I can see from the mirror and the swimsuit that even though lots of people are singing my praises, I've got a little more to go. What I'm liking most, though, is the shape of the new muscles in the snug jeans, etc. That part is really fun at this point. You are doing so well!!!!! I will be so excited when the chance comes to meet you.

This morning I slept in to 8 a.m. and have until 1 p.m. before Church. I'm going to attempt a long workout, I think - Boot Camp plus cardio add-on. We'll see how that goes. Feeling great about getting my closet all spiffed up yesterday and excited about the new outfits I "found".

Hi again gang-
Completed 2 new workouts today…
Killer Kicks : Very Drill-ish but fun and different. A good 45 minute Kenpo sub. Not quite the cardio boost as StrikeZone but its all about form & technique and the pace reflects that. 9 out of 10 for Kenpo Sub.
MTV Pilates Mix: Very versatile! The entire workout is around 40 minutes I think but I opted to do 1 chapter of arms focus (Yoga moves) – 1 chapter of legs (pilates floor) – 1 chapter of abs. There are 2 chapters of each and a workout blender. The pace flows nicely as do the moves. A high likeability factor and my 3part segment ran 18 minutes. 8 out of 10 for Pilates/Yoga mix.

DH went to hit tennis balls! He’s starting to play this week with his business partner…I’m very excited that he’ll be getting in exercise!!!!

Amy: I have a few Crunch Series Yoga / Pilates blends and really LOVE them! They are a good level for me! Yoga X whips my butt & is WAY TO INTENSE for this non yoga girl. Hip Hip Hooray on truck! That will make everyone a bit happier I’m sure. BTW: caught your post to FF about your rotation results… ^^^^^^^^^5! So are you a convert now? Working out smart vs Loooooooooong is what its all about? Yippee!!!

Gidget: I’m 44 with no kids married to a 45 yr old with no kids- I TOTALLY GET your post!!! LOLOLOL- On the 120 vs 129… once you see your magic number its al relative! You just go for whatever yours is!!!! LOL whip that DH into shape!!!

Mary: Ice storms? My heavens spring is next week! I was the one who mentioned negative vibes on WW Forums… I sure don’t get it but man oh man they do get downright ugly! Glad you wont be hanging out there, who needs that right?

Cheryl: OK girl- its going to be maintaining fat loss focus! You talked me into it!! I start another P90 round April 1 w/ extra cardio this time so that will shake things up since I haven’t lifted super heavy past 2 months. Hopefully I’ll be the incredible shrinking woman just like you are! So happy you got to sleep in a bit- I think your body is still recovering a bit. Take an easy day if you can…. Oh wait- TOO LATE…BC + addons – You CRAZY girl

Heh, heh, Traci, you're making me laugh like you always do!

Today I am feeling dangerously close to 100% again. Did Boot Camp (felt my chest still winded during the blasts) and followed it up with 45 min. weightloss program on the TM, 45 min - and that felt just right. Nice way to start the week.

Did I tell you my DH is thinking of starting PX90? I'm trying to get it for him on eBay... that would be so much fun! Can't say I'd be up to joining him, but it would still be fun. I still prefer doing my heavy weights with Cathe, by far.

Well, on to church. It's going to be a wonderful day - last night went clear through my closet rediscovering all the clothes I forgot I had. All "mom" jeans are now GONE, even the ones that fit me again :7 :7 :7

Forgot how many cute clothes I actually have - but did break down and order some smaller white jeans off of Amazon last night. My cute Gap 4s that I was dying to wear last summer are now a little too loose!!
I only got 4 or so wearings out of them and now they're relegated to the back of my closet, too late to return them and I sure wish they were twos!!!! Oh well.

Good evening,

Oh, boy! I had a terrific weekend! Today my DH and I went to a Spring Bazaar hosted by the German Air Defense. They had all that gooood German food and cakes:9 I ate some German food, but no cake}
I have to workout 2 hours a day next week in order to burn all those calories:+ I have been really bad this weekend}( I am so glad that my DD comes back tomorrow from Florida! No more bad food for me! She is going to keep me on track:D I will not weigh in until next week! Trust me I feel like Ms. Piggy today!

Yesterday I went for a brisk 2 mil. walk in 30 min. Today I did for the first time Cardio Kicks! OMG! I think this one is going to be my favorite Kickbox workout! I was sweating buckets:) The choreography
was easy, but the work-out was tough!

Mary I am so sorry your mom is still in the hospital! How is she doing? Prayers are still going on! Sorry about the bad weather you are having! We had 84 degrees today!

Traci I haven't had time to order the DVD, but I will order it Monday or Tuesday! My order is going to be a big one:D I am also going to be 44 this year.

WOW Heather! I couldn't workout so late! Good for you! What are your plans for tomorrow?

Amy I am so glad your DH is doing better!:D Hope you had a good night sleep! I bought a new yoga DVD the other day! I am going to try it next week.

Amy A 3 aren't you almost done with your rotation? What are you going to do next?

Cheryl good job on Boot Camp! Must be fun to go to your clothes and to find out they are to small! You must be feeling really proud of yourself! I am really happy for you! I need to do push aways from food!LOL!

Belinda, so glad you had a great weekend - sounds like it was fun and that the cheats were worth it.

I definitely had my cheat day today. My youngest son's favorite pork roast with raspberry sauce for dinner, along with cheesy potatoes (my kids favorite - even the grown ones - baked potatoes shredded and then stir in a mix of butter, cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper and green onions and finish baking 30 min with some crumbled corn flates on top)

I hit 1800 calories today, easy. Was famished after the extra long workout.
