Good Morning Ladies!!

I can not believe I am the early bird this morning! Well I am waiting for the telephone repairman. I am changing telephone services just to get the discount on my high speed internet. ;-) Wish me luck!! I hope there will be no problems with the new provider. I have heard horror sotries from people who have switched to other services. :eek: I have not heard bad reviews about the one I am swithcing to.

Today will be CTX kickboxing (cardio only), abs from PUB and I want to squeeze in Brand New Butt and More w/Janis Saffell (I rented this from Netflix).

Cheryl- I read your post last night. You are very welcome- re: Info regarding ebay seller Ezaggle. When I ran across those posts on VF I remembered that a couple of you purchased from him. In fact, I have purchased most of my Cathe dvds from ebay, from a seller named Imbargaincrazy. I am still going to check my dvds to make sure they are not copies. I will not get rid of them of course b/c I paid too much money; but I will be careful in the future. I was looking for Cardio Hits and saw Ezaggle had a copy up for bid. That is what made me do the search on VF and found the posts. Needless to say, I think I will go ahead and order the new 4 Day Split workouts today and throw in Cardio Hits from SNM.

Good Morning:)

I have been awake for a while...just haven't had a chance to check in yet:eek: I was so happy when DS went back to bed again! We had company over and they didn't leave until 2:eek: so you can only imagine how releived I was when DS went back to bed for another hour:) Im not doing ANYTHING tonight though and I doubt DH will b/c his head his a little big today:)

Today is cardio and PH.I think I am going to do PH first b/c thats the priority and I will fit in whatever cardio I can get in after. :) Its 10 now and we have a b-day party at 1 so I can't really spend 2 hours working out.

Kim, thanks for the insight last night. I don't have much time for people who do things like this. And Im sure its possible that things can be stolen.We assume the things that were stolen from the store were probably sold on ebay or in a flea markets somewhere. Ezaggle seems to have a lot of copies of the two I bought.

Alright, DH is taking DS out and about so I need to get my workout started. I will be back later to report what I did.

Hey Everybody!:)!

I missed some chatting last night:-(! DH and I went to see Transformers and it was Great! We also ate out( a resturant cheeseburger and icecream afterwords) which I know I should of avoided but Oh Well,Im not going to stress over it! My DM watched my kids so it was nice just the two of us!

My WI went well,I lost two pds since last week(I think, my scale plays tricks on me,I REALLY need to buy a new one,but that one isn't very old!)anyways its saying I Weigh 192.0 so Im VERY happy about that! I also measured and here are the results:
Waist down one inch
Hips down and inch and 1/2
both arms(biggest part) down one quarter of an inch
legs are the same!
I don't measure my chest,don't know why just never started!

So thats a total of three inches lost, YIPPEE!:7

Girls,I ended up taking a rest day yesterday so today I had to rearrange the rotation a little! today is LIC,tommorrow is the 40 min powerwalk! Then I'll start monday with MIS! Those Total body workouts make me shake sooooo much!

Kim-The only thing that helps me learn a step routine is practice and previewing! Im still learning body max 2,its fun though(even if I end up giving up,I know I'll one day get it!) and Thanks for posting that link to the ezaggle seller,I also purchased one workout from him and kinda suspected it was a bootleg,but wont purchase from him agian! hey,maybe you should post that in Open Disscuion to warn everybody else! Another good ebay seller is(besides iambargincrazy)is Monique(can't remember#####'s)I'll also go check out that yoga dvd you suggested yesterday!

Lori-Do you shake with PH,I did it wesnday and boy was I shaking around the last segments!

Amelia, I had a few treats last night as well, and Im not concerned about it either:) Its harder to be good on the weekends with everyone around.
I did PH and its the first time in ages...probably 2 yrs:eek: My legs were starting to shake on the squats and I skipped the lunges b/c I HATE LUNGES! I do them sometimes but I know Im not doing them right b/c the leg I have in the back, always get a cramp in the calve muscle..so I just skip them most of the time!:) My chest really felt it to though, probably cause I pulled out all of the pushups on my toes. I use to be able to do alot of push ups before DS and after he was born I remember not being able to do 2!:eek: Getting back at it though:) Good for the arms! And I also did a 4 mile run again,
Time to hit the shower!

Hey Girlie Girls!!

I finished my workout. That was my first time doing any workout in CTX. I got the bulk of these Cathe dvds since the end of the year 2006. I am just using most of them b/c of you all. I used the weight workouts with no problem; but, I shyed away from using the step workouts. So I have to say thanks to you all- Lori, Amelia, Cheryl, Belinda, Nancy and Mary - for encouraging me to try the step workouts and rotations!! :)

Amelia- Don't sweat the treats and burger!! You gotta enjoy life!

Kim, so glad you enjoyed CTX! It's such a treat to have so many Cathe workouts to choose from and I love rotating her step workouts for variety.

Amelia, great job on the lbs. and inches lost! Good job!

Lori, I hope you're headed for a fun day today.

I was tired this morning - slept in and did just GS Tri's (10 min worth) plus the cardio only in Cardio & Weights for a total of 40 min. But I'm finishing up the strongest week I've had in quite a while.

Today will be a lazy day. All I have to do is grocery shopping and help DS pick a b-day gift for a party he's going to next Tuesday.

Hey girls:)!

Got done with LIC,boy do I feel alot better! I take back my words from last week,I said that body fusion is harder than LIC...There about the same,LOL!

Lori-I HATE LUNGES Too,(Well all lower body :+)right there with ya girl! My back calf gets really tired too with them! The lunges on PH is killer,I haven't finished that segment in full yet!I always skip the lunges off the step part,cant do it! How much weight do you use on squats? I just went up to 20lbs,I think Cathe uses 35lbs!

Cheryl-Thanks, I'm pretty happy with last months accomplishments! And a 40min workout is Great! I agree,you had a hard workout week! I'm putting off going grocery shopping until monday,maybe the stores won't be so crowded then! Have fun b-day gift shopping with your DS!

Hi ladies,

I had a virus on my computer this morning! Hate when that happens!

This morning I did Body Max (92 min.) I am glad I am done! Later I will add S & H Biceps and yoga!

Kim I buy all my Cathe DVD's from her website! Congrats on your weight loss!^^^^5! Don't give up on stepping!

Lori I used to hate lunges! Put I been doing so many with Cathe's rotations, that I started to like working my legs!}( I know it sounds grazy! Have fun shopping!

Amelia great job on LIC this morning! Congrats on you inches! That is great! Don't beat your self up, about the burger! You only live once!:9

Cheryl did you buy the 14 in. or 12 in. high step??

Amelia- thanks on the congrats on the weight loss - but mine was only 20% of a pound not two whole pounds. x( But congratulations to you on two pounds and three inches!!!!;-) YAY!!!!!

Belinda and Cheryl- I will surely stick with the step b/c I have found that when I finally learn the routine I have a blast. I still have my workout area set up for C&W b/c I want to learn at least the whole second combo and learn some of the third this weekend.

Funny story- I did not workout in my basement today, like I normally do. The Comcast telephone/internet guy did not know how to connect my alarm system w/the new phone line, therefore, he had to call someone else. Well I was trying to wait until he was finished to do my workout. When I saw it would not be anytime soon and the clock was approaching 10 am, I went in the basement, grabbed my CTX dvd and PUB. I came back in my den, move my ottoman and commenced to doing CTX- kickboxing there. The two cable guys were intrigued everytime they walked by. I think they were marveling at me b/c I was able to keep up (remember I took kcikboxing at boxing gym so my stamina for those workouts are good). I told them they were interupting my workout. I also told them they were requiring me to have to bring too much equipment up from the basement (when I got to PUB Stability ball abs I had to go grab the stability ball then again to grab an 8 lb. weight). They then had to wit for me to finish my workout! LOL!!! :+

Question- I was looking at the coming weeks of my rotation and I do not have several of the dvds (AMAZINGLY!!:p ). I am missing Ab Hits (is this even worth getting?) and Cardio Kicks (is this worth getting?) looking at the previews they do not look like they are worth getting. Any suggestions for substitutions. I have some kickboxing dvds that I think are much more of a workout than Cardio Kicks.... Let me know what y'all think!

BBL!!! Off to do some grocery shopping!
 
Amelia funny story!:D :D I say Cardio Kicks ( one of my fav.!)is worth having! Ab Hits if you have all Cathe's other DVD's you really don't need it! I have most of Cathe's DVD's and really didn't needed Ab Hits! Put I still got it! Go figure!

Amelia, I forgot to say congrats on the weight loss! 2 lbs is good. Are you looking forward to seeing the 180's? I bet! I use 35 or 40 lbs for lunges and squats. I match Cathe pretty much with everything and there are times I will go a little heavier. During the chest work today I used 15 lbs db's instead of 10 lbs. I would have grabbed 10s if I knew thats what she was using but she didn't say it until after! It wasn't that hard though.

Cheryl, I know what it feels like to be tired in the mornings...no need to explain here! DH is going fishing early tomorrow morning and I was hoping to go for a run but its calling for rain again...BIG F'IN SURPRISE!

Belinda, I don't mind doing lunges when I know there is a certain about but when its 2 counts up ,2 counts down,3 counts up,3 counts down, low ends and singles...UGH, I couldn't be bothered!

Kim, that is a funny story! I don't think I would have been able to workout with them there. They would have interupted me to much! I like having Ab hits b/c I can just stick it in a decide what workout I want to do. As for CK...haven't done it in ages but if your a kickboxing fan then it may be worth it!

Well, I went to a b-day party this afternoon but was only there for an hour. Never really had much to eat and have been pretty good all day. I haven't been counting my points either, just eating when I am hungry and stopping when I am comfy. And I just woke up from a nice nap...now I feel refreshed!

Belinda, I only bought the high step topper - no risers - you can use it with the risers from your standard bench. You can get the standard risers cheaper on eBay. I have 8. Some of the workouts like GS Legs use 5 risers with the topper, and some of the weight workouts use 4 risers on each side under the step to make it into a workout bench. So buying just the topper wasn't so expensive.

Kim, I hardly ever use Cardio Kicks but I like having it for when I travel on business because it doesn't require equipment. But most of the time when I travel I end up doing Slim Series Keep it up plus Slim in Six pack or Slim Series Firm It Up. I bought ab hits too - go figure!

Lori, good job on the eating. And kudos on getting a nap!

We're going out to dinner tonight with another couple. Very fun! I will behave.

Kim, the risers are the same as for the standard Health Club Step, like this:

I think the Reebok risers are identical. You might have to measure them. They're bigger risers than for the smaller step you see out on Amazon and eBay that are rectangular instead of squaire. So I just bought the Cathe topper for my risers like these (which I got on eBay and I do believe at least half of them were Reebok) and they fit just fine.

Belinda especially: Just bought the Nike Funky Vibe cargo pants like Cathe is wearing in the blog for $39.99 on Paiva ... plus someone on the Ask Cathe thread posted a discount code that gives 15% off... enough for shipping. Very fun! I'll wear them to the RT. Wanted to share the news in case you want to get some too :)

I purchased the high steps with four risers from Taget.com b/c the risers on the Reebok step do not fit the high step. However, the if you have a Club Step the risers fit both the club step and the high step. I want to purchase one or two additional risers. Thanks for the ebay tip in the additional risers Chery.
