Weight Watchers......Saturday

Yeah, it's Saturday. With my work schedule all wonky, I hardly know what day of the week it is! All I know is that I don't have to go back to work until at least Thursday. I told my boss last week that I'd work the W/T/F this week, but she went and changed next week to that as well and I was really hoping for an extra day off!

Traci- I really hope that you are feeling better and are back with us today! I am sure that the kiddies are taking awesome care of you! They always seem to know when we're sick and need some extra "love"!;-)

DH wanted to go out for breakfast after work this morning, but I'm really not interested in driving home to pick him up then back out to the breakfast joint. I think that we will go out tomorrow morning, though.

Everyone else, I hope that you enjoy your Saturday and I will check in later after a nap!
 
Good Morning!

I dreamed it was a weekday and asked my DH"what are you doing here" (it was early like 5am)he asked what I was talking about....I took a sleeping pill last night and I always have crazy dreams! Anyways,Its suppose to be pretty today,I'm thinking about going for a long walk instead of doing step today! I've already done step twice this week(think thats enough)Think I'll do upper/lower and a nice long walk! Sounds good*thumbs up*

Amy-I know what you mean,I don't care about eating out either,My DH suggested we go to waffle house! but really I can make him a waffle right here:)!Just don't care about getting out of my pj's right now!

Well ladies Im bound and determined not to weigh this whole week until my WI day on friday!Im really going to try hard!I hear my coffee gurgling so gotta go...bbl!
 
good morning lady bugs...where is everyone? i guess it is just you and me:) i was up for a nice breakfast this morning but i opted for special k instead. we are looking at a near perfect weather day. 70 degrees and sunny...boy do i love spring:) i am taking a well deserved rest day. i worked out for 6 days in a row and everything hurts. i believe we are going to this park which is right in the water. i hope everyone has a great day and i will be bsck

traci:i hope you are feeling better. i too had that flu bug and it was terrible. i cant wait to chat about bbc.

Good Morning Ladies:) :)

That was a nice little sleep in:) DS woke at 3 and 7 (which is good) but then he wanted to stay up so DH got up with him and I went back to sleep until 10:15:) :) I feel so good!

We had a good night last night. Everyone came here for a BBQ and they were gone by 11 ish.We were late eating though and even though I didn't eat much I felt bloated after.
I think certain clothes makes me look bigger then I am in my eyes.Last night I slept with a tank top on and when I look in the mirror I feel like I have these chunky arms:-( :-( Hate it! I know I am only 2 lbs from pre preg but there is no way my shape is the same.

I don't think the scale is going to be down this week. Its sort of comming to a stand still. In 3 weeks Ive lost 1-2 lbs. I don't know when I will see 129. Any tips? Im gonna rethink my dieting and the way I have been doing it. Maybe i need to jazz something up a little.

Belinda, glad to hear your son is o.k You must have gotten quit the scare!

Amy, have a good nap. Nothing worse then not knowing what your work schedule is going to be.

Mary,good job on the workouts! You deserve a day off. Your sounding quit cheerful. Its good to know you are doing o.k.

Amelia,sleeping pills and drinking???? Are you trying to tell us there is something wrong?:) If I took those 2 together I don't know when I would wake up! Glad to hear you got some stuff yesterday.

Cheryl, where are you? Are you sleeping in to?

Not sure what todays workout will be. Depends on if DH is around to take DS. If he is I may do a long run, if not....then I don't know:)

Hi, everyone! Nooooo, I didn't sleep in - actually got up at 4:55 to be ready to meet fellow runners at 5:30 a.m. for an 11 mile run. It was fun! We carpooled up Provo Canyon and then ran the canyon road down. Mostly down - some rolling hills, but a niced pleasant run. Kind of cold, but nice to be done by the time the sun's out and everyone else is just getting started. Took us 1 hour 38 min. of actual run. Felt good!

I've been eating like a pig this week, though. Weight workouts have made me ravenous and the guys at work have had treats sitting out (Costco bags of peanut butter pretzels and Hot Tamales - I've managed to eat 1-2 handfuls of each every day). Yech! Gotta stop. Weight this morning was 124.2. Not the end of the world, but time to take hold and finish this task.

Lori, I'm with you, girl - let's really reassess the diets and take hold of things in these next 2 or so weeks. We can do it!

Hey guys,wanted to check inn!

I decided to not wo today,im afriad that stinking sleeping pill got the best of me,im soooooo blah today! I will have a good workout tommorrow !

Lori-I ended up not drinking anything last night(although my DH made him a drink),by the time the game was over my DH was alseep on the coach,so I pop in the first season of andy griffith(love that show)and watched a couple of episodes!I was bright eyed too! sounds like you had a good time at your BBQ,sounds yummy! enjoy your weekend!

Hey Girls,

Just finished DM. That workout is so good! Not the highest in cardio but it keeps the HR up! I may run outside later tonight. I haven't ran outside since I was 1 month preggo and didn't know it. Running outside is totally different from running inside and if I want to keep up with my running partner this summer, I gotta get started. I wish the dogs were sensible enough to take. They arent good on leashes.

Belinda, I have lost a fair bit of weight but now I am getting pi$$ed with the stand still. Maybe I will get up one morning and magically have dropped 3 lbs:) I have been having a treat everyday though so maybe I need to knock that out until I get to where I want to be.

Cheryl, good job on the run and great timing! Ive never ran 11 miles, the most was 10 and I am pretty sure I couldn't do it at 5 in the morning:eek: Yeah, we need to pull our pants up and hop to it. We are so close to our goal that we shouldn't let things get in our way now.

Amelia, my DH passed out last night as soon as his head hit the pillow and I was laying there for a while. It worked out o.k though b/c DS woke at 12 to be fed so I would have gotten 5 mins sleep before he woke.

Anyway, trying my hair curly today:eek: I think its gonna be super short but who knows I may like it, or it may end up in a pony for the rest of the day. I may try to go for a walk later as well.

Lori I wished I would loose weight the way you loss it! You almost to your goal weight! Be proud of yourself! You doing an amazing job!

I am going to a friends house tonight! Hope I mot eating to much! The scale is still my friend:D I have not gained any weight! I am still loosing weight! I really like the April rotation!

Tomorrow is a rest day for me, not sure if I'll take it!

Amy, I just read your question about Waffle House. Typically, I get the grilled chicken breast and an order of hashbrowns steamed (they taste like a baked potato). I had read a brochure that a Registered Dietician/marathon runner put out in conjunction with WH and in it that's what she suggested was a healthy option on their menu. Since then, we have gone there quite a bit, now that I know what I can get besides a salad!!!
