Good Morning:)

Another bad nights sleep to add to the rest of them;( DS woke at 3:30 and we realized he was wet. Poor thing, no wonder he wouldn't go back to sleep. Can you imagine all the babies out there, that their parents are to lazy or just don't care? Ugh...and of course after he was changed, he didn't want to go back into his crib so it was a repeat of Sunday night. Sleeping with us, hogging my pillow, pulling my hair...it was a while before he got back to sleep and he probably would have slept in if DD's alarm clock didn't wake him. Anyway, Im sure its nothing that a couple cups off coffee can't help with.

Amelia** So you didn't get any shoes??? DH's store as alot of nice clothes right now and there are lots of things I want. They don't order big piles of things. They have alot of inventory but only 2-3 pieces of each sweater or coat. I saw two really nice sweaters there yesterday but he had to remind me..."what you buy, I don't make a profit on. If you want something, I will order it in for you" blah, blah...BLAH! Done that before and everyone is to busy to remember to order it for me! So Lori doesn't end up getting it!:+

Cheryl** I wish I could find the nerve to call my boss but I just don't see it happening. I think when he calls me I will ask the questions I need answers to but until then I don't see me having the nerve to ask! I don't know why I am like this, I wish i were one to face the devil but I run the other way! Let us know how everything goes at work~! We are routing for ya!!!!

Laine** Done cleaning yet? I don't mind cleaning but its really hard for my hosue to stay clean cause to many people come and go! My inlaws are going away for 2 weeks today so they wont be around much but my family is still here most of the time.

Sara** How are the kiddos? You didn't check in yesterday? Hope everything is o.k!

Belinda** How does it feel to be home? I bet its nice! You will probably miss your mom more then ever now. It will get easier though.

Well, today is a run for me:) The weather channel says today is Sunday breaks and only 12 degrees....the same as your 60's I guess. But it is wet looking out there, maybe around 9:30 or 10 it should be cleared up and warmer. Until then, I can tidy my house and do some ab work.
I will check back later!

Lori:)

Morning ladies!

Im not sure what workout I will do today! I thought about taking a rest day after what happened to me yesterday! I started a thread about it in OF so I will paste it here too:

----I can't believe what someone asked me yesterday!----------------

I went shoe shopping last evening, and as I was checking out and the clerk asked me when I was expecting ! Talk about a slap in the face(no,I didn't slap her in the face felt like it though). I said "expecting what,a baby...Im not pregnate!" She LOOKED DOWN(and stared) at my stomach and said she was sorry!

I was depressed last night and fought back tears,I thought "is this how people see me,then why iam I working so hard?"

I realize im not slim! Im a size 14,but I have come along way.I use to be a size 22! I've lost alot of weight over the past two years(and still have my last 30pds or so to go,which is hanging on for dear life ). I just can't believe she asked me that!

And the bad thing is I have to face her agian to return the shoes today !

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Lorie-Have fun with your run! I've always had to kind of "nag" my husband until I get what I want,LOL! Have you tried nagging him about the sweaters?;-) It usually works for me!

Good Morning!!

Lori, I checked in...remember the bday party?? I do have to say that ds had fun so it was all worth it! As fas as calling your boss...I would hate to have to face it also, but you will feel better after you get it over with!!! Good luck with that and keep us posted!

Amelia, I responded to your post in OD. The other day in the grocery store, I heard a mom say to their ds something about watching out for the pregnant lady. I looked up and she was looking at me!!! I instantly glared, but then realized she had a pregnant lady with her :)

Lainie, you sound like me last week! I was going crazy cleaning my house! It is a w/o, huh??

Well, I have to go shower. I have a meeting with ds's speech teacher. I am requesting speech for him this year (again). He still struggles with "k" and "g" sounds and now he is stutturing. My brothers both had trouble with stutturing when they were younger. I wonder if it is genetic. So, I will bbl...

Sara

Sara...that was yesterday? LOL I thought it was the day before. Prehaps b/c I responded after i woke from my nap...I may have thought it was a whole new day! hehe Have a good day and a good meeting~!

Oh Amelia! I didn't see that thread! Keep your head high. You have come along way and thats what you have to remember. And you will get where you want to be. If you give up, then you will be back to a size 22. Imagine from a 22 to a 14! Thats great! That is my worst fear to ask someone if they are preggo when they are not. And Im talking about people I know.Ive seen people I know, that looked pregnant (b/c they were) but I hadn't heard it, so I would have to wait to ask someone else and then congratulate them the next time I seen them. When i was pregnant I went to get light bulbs and the guy that worked there didn't realize i was pregnant and said " yeah, I said the other day, Lori ann is putting on alot of weight" You idiot! I felt like saying! Anyway...try not to get down b/c of ignorant people, keep doing what your doing and maybe the next time you need shoes she may be asking you for exercise tips!!!!

I just got back from a run. It was a good one and the temp was prefect. I just wore pants and a long sleeves shirt. And bundled DS up in a blankey and he went to lala land!

Ill BBL!
Lori

Well, I got another room cleaned up yesterday and I have more to tackle today. I like my house better when it is well-organized so I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. Today I also hope to finally get a workout done as well--going to do either PUB or BM2 upper body only.

Lori, sorry to hear you didn't get enough sleep. I'm so glad my kids are mostly past that stage, though they still sometimes wake up earlier than I like. The problem I have lately is figuring out when to put Ewan down for a nap. I am trying to get him to nap between lunch and going to pick up his brother (we leave at 3). But a lot of times he poops after lunch--and he doesn't go to sleep if he's got a stinky diaper. So sometimes I think, what's he doing up there? why isn't he sleeping? And sure enough I'll go check him and he's got a full diaper. Ugh. So that delays the nap and then I have to wake him up to go get Isaac. But if I wait until after school then it's already 3:30 or later when we get home and he's already super-cranky.

Amelia, I'm sorry to hear that some insensitive person asked if you were pregnant! People are so dumb. You never ask that unless it's really really obvious (like a definite 9 month bump). I got a few of those comments before and it was always so awful but you've got to just put it behind you and focus on your goals ahead of you instead (easier said than done, I know). You can also focus on how far you've already come--which it looks like you're thinking about already. I was at a play group 3 months after Ewan was born and the old lady who served us coffee asked me if I was pregnant. I said something like, "No, I'm just still a bit fat from the last baby" (who I was holding at the time). Then she stuck her foot even further in her mouth by saying something about how I should get exercise! I was exercising all the time! But I hadn't discovered Cathe or anyone else remotely advanced yet, so it wasn't the best exercise. Plus I was only 3 months postpartum and I'm not one who bounces back quickly. Anyway, just saying I've been there and you just have to figure those people who say such things are idiots. Have you thought about what you were wearing when the chick said that? Sometimes we just wear things that don't flatter our figures (full or thin figures).

Sara, glad to hear your bday party went well. Good luck meeting with the speech teacher. Weird thing--I never had trouble with speech as a kid (other than my horrendous Texas accent which is not so strong now) but later in my 20s I went through a phase where I had trouble saying 'r' in the middle of a word. It would come out as a 'w'. Not at the beginning, though. So I would say retweat instead of retreat or that sort of thing. It was weird but I got over it--not sure how.

Oh, just remembered another annoying thing people would say. When I actually was pregnant people would always comment on how big I was or ask if I was having twins. Aaarrrggghhh! It made me so angry. And it was usually people who I barely knew. "Wow, that's going to be a big baby" or even stuff like "Man, you're huge! Are you going to deliver any day now or what? You like like you're about to pop" and I was only 7 months pregnant or something. As it turned out I did have kind of big babies and I also (for some unknown reason) had extra fluid in there with them. (My babies were 8lb14oz and 9lb11oz, by the way.)

Lori, do you run with a jogging stroller? I've got one of those but haven't used it to run in a while. I couldn't during the summer because both boys were home all the time and it's only a single stroller. Now I can't because of the dumb ankle.
