Weight Watchers !! FRIDAY -yea baby!

Oh I LOOOOOOOVE Fridays! DH is always in a great mood and I get to do nothing but Traci Stuff! (I never make commitments on Fridays)... Went out for dinner last night and had a Sirloin Steak and double order of veggies... I know veggies were drowning in unclean butter and of course I noticed...DID NOT CARE A BIT! Since I can only eat pritein & veggies for another 14 days I am going to make the msot of it! Scale down slightly this morning so no harm no foul!

Back & upper feeling warm from yestedays upper of Sculpt 5/6 and Back of L&B! Today is Legs MishMosh #2(all Tony!). Also received my New York Body Plan DVD yesterday so I am going to do one of the premixes (15 minutes) just to get a taste of it.
We're heading down to bay this afternoon to enjoy the 80+ temps and get some boating/fishing in this weekend. I'll take Kenpo with me for tomorrow and do Yoga and a bike ride on Sunday.

DH let me know that 2 of his trouble making partners agreed to be bought out yesterday.... WHEW~~~~~~~~~ Its been a devastatingly difficult 6 months for him (thus US) and I felt like I finally saw a glimmer of hope last night. That will leave him with his original partner whom he respects admires and is on the same page vision wise with. A HUGE burden lifted from my guys shoulders. THANK HEAVENS! Now they begin to dig out of some the financial mess all the chaos has caused.... but at least he is no longer talking about shutting down his company.

Sorry about WI but like you said it wasnt a shocker... Every meals a new day with a chance to make new choices. I'm so happy for you that you are doing a new type of rotation! Like Cheryls was saying to one of the gals yesterday it really is about keeping things mixed up. Gotta look at it all as 6-8 week blocks I think. I tell myself "After 6-8 weeks you can always go back to your familiar program if you want". Hope work goes OK this weekend!

Too much going on that I probably shouldnt plan that far in advance. I'm one of the few people in the world that finds it easier to do things like that last minute.... Maybe my daily world shifts more than normal or something... ANYWAY-I hope all of the gang gets to go!!! No frets on the scale! You are lifting right now so imagine theres got to be some water in the muscles for next week or so... Dont get crazy on yourself!

:) :) :) Gidget: Hope your day of "play" was just what you needed! Thats great planning a rest day on Thursday...You sound very active naturally then! Whenever I use to feel down about the scale I'd just ask myself if I were given those lost punds back- would it be a big deal? OF COURSE! So it MUST be a big deal that they are gone!!! Sorry I cant lend advise on baby weight... No children for me except my 3 that I didnt give birth to! VERY happy to hear that baby is healthy & growing! So any new sneaks in the mail yesterday???


:) :) :) Belinda: Great job doing your KPC! For some reason everytime I see KPC my brain says KFC! OH NOOOOOOO!!!!! On your weight... Keep in mind that if you keep losing at the rate you did past two weeks your body isnt being given a chance to stabilize and get comfy with lower weight. A week or so of holding isnt necessarily a plateau or bad thing... Think of it as your body settling in and saying- This feels nice... You can always do a shock week if you need to. Slow & steady is what keeps the weight off easier in the long run.

I'm trying for a double workout this morning before I spend the rest of the a.m. doing Media Training for a client about to go to a trade show in Las Vegas we've been preparing them for. Oy!

Amy: Don’t sweat it, you are about to take off:):) I stepped on scale this morning and whatcha know....up 3 lbs x( I’m not mad. When I was sick, I couldn't eat and I lost a few lbs, so its all good, appetite has been somewhat on the heavy:9 :9 Tomorrow I am also starting a new rotation, looking for GREAT results. My first 4 weeks I’ll be doing Fitnessfreak’s rotation, one UB body part a day, of course I'm going to add on :7 I see what these 4 weeks merits me, looking for good things. Cardio stays:eek: :eek:

Tracie, off to the Bay, huh! woman I admire your life :p:p And, congrats on the scale moving downwards :) Girl that scale will drive me crazy if I measured my results by it. Today, my jean skirt is tight across my hips. My body (((NEEDS))) cardio lots of it. So guess whats going in rotation :D Enjoy your weekend

This morning, I did Imax 2 :eek: that’s it:eek: Tomorrow, strength training, lowmax or cardio fusion or Scrambed Eggs, who knows. Chat later.

Good Morning....I did not eat any ice cream last night....maybe Core will clean me up a tiny bit more...I am going to try to have it only a couple of nights a week. Instead, I had a cup of skim milk with a Diet Swiss Miss mixed in.

Amy, I am sorry about your WI. I hate that scale too. I hope mine drops some next week.

Traci, have fun at the Bay this weekend!!! It sounds so nice, and warm!!

I will not be going on the roadtrip. I would love too, but I have 2 trips with Premier this year, and that is all I can do.

Today is GS Legs....love that workout!! Tomorrow, I will probably do Cardio Kicks, and TeddyGirl, I will be kicking to you!!

Good morning WWer's!

Traci -- I am terrible about keeping up with personals etc... during the work week, my time is so limited with work, then workouts, then daily "stuff" that has to be done... I should have more time with no kids at home and hubby working out of town!

I'm off today since I work the weekend... I just finished CC#3 for my interval run and about to tackle PH. I'm going down to DIL and DS's to see pictures and a video of Joseph, my unborn grandson! They had a 3-D ultrasound done yesterday and DIL sent me some of the pics over IM last night. He has her nose and DS's chubby chipmunk cheeks he had when he was born! He is so adorable!

Gotta get busy on PH and then get cleaned up and out the door.

Lori, big kudos on passing on the ice cream last night. Holding to just a couple nights a week may give you just the boost that you need.
Hurray on GS Legs!! I only just gave in and bought it about a month ago off of the YaYa swap and it's become one of my favorites.

Teddygirl, I'm so glad you feel better!! The scale will cooperate soon.

Speaking of scales/progress - I was feeling a little blue that I may only see one pound down tops for Feb, I went back to my Cathe calendar and noted that my bf% on Feb 1 was 21.1 and right now it's 19.5... so I'll take it! At least the progress is coming somewhere, so I can hang in.

Well, the great workout imploded a little - I've been fighting off an ear ache and sore throat since last night and it was making me lightheaded. All I could manage was 30 minutes of Step Works plus 15 min. Stab. Ball abs for today. It'll have to do. Hoping to gear up for a longer run tomorrow morning.

My goodness, between you and Tracie. I'm going to make a speical trip to see the both of you, and quess what? I'm going to take that scale and throw it far far away x( x( just kidding :+ Congrats on lowering your BF ;) that's progress ;) ;) see its not all about the scale is it? Keep up the good work, can't wait to see what March brings ya.

Typing this with my left hand again..while someone is nibbling on my right side:) This could take a while!

Got my workout done today! I did a 5 mile run (longest run yet), it felt great. I was hoping to fit some abs in but Rylan started crying right at the end of my run so it was a quick shower for moi.

Traci, while I was on the treadmill DH came home with my new shoes. Both pairs are pretty cool. One is for aerobics, the sides are made of leather for lateral movement. Should be good for the speed skaters move and the other ones are really nice running shoes.

Teddygirl,I hear ya on the scale going up! I weighed today and wasn't impressed so I had a good run today and plan on doing the same thing tomorrow. Hopefully the scale will be back down by Sun morning. I know it must be water retenion or something b/c I haven't been going over my points.

Alright, i should get going. I am feeling nappish but probably won't get to have one.

This is what I’m working with, need your input. I tweak it I took out Fitnessfreak cardio & legs but this is her set-up for UB. I have to make some sense out of this I don’t think I’ll be able to do UB every day, notice I left 2 days blank I need to come up with rotation. I need to cardio, abs and legs.

WEEK 1
Day 1: GS Chest 72 push ups S&H skip pushups GS Chest do not do close grip presses
Day 2: S&H Triceps only, no dips; GS Triceps .
Day 3: S&H Back (double arm rows & pullovers only) GS Back only, entire section;S&H Back, Superman's, Prone & Supine Planks.
Day 4: S&H and GS Shoulders
Day 5: S&H and GS Biceps
Day 6:

Did you say points, what’s that…I’m sitting here eating 1c of chili made w/bean and red meat my sister brought over yesterday, and its good. But she makes her chili with red meat I use Turkey meat, so I figured it to be at least 8 points and my breakfast was 6. I need to get focused.

Me and sis went to New York & Company last night. I purchased a few items, what got me was when I tried on a pair of size 6 black khaki pants that's the only size I reach for. So when I tried em on the 6 was kind of tight in thighs & butt. I've also noticed my butt is bigger, duh! duh! :p :p

Yep, I brought them, heck they looked good on me. But what is bugging me out, is this. I am trying to fine balance AGAIN in me workouts.

I know what it is, I need to do more cardio. And especially cut back on the amount of weights I’m lifting when doing legs. I need to go back to using only 5lb this way I can work em daily if I want. I shall see.

Teddygirl, I'd have bought the pants too. If they look good and they're only slightly tight, they're incentive is what I always say :eek:

On your rotation - my thought would be to break up the 5 days of weight with 1 day of cardio only and use the other one for a day of rest or active rest. I am finding I am most effective with just 2 consecutive days of serious weights. I would also add cardio after all of the weight workouts for at least 30 minutes, 60 or 75 where possible, and I would keep the cardio extremely mixed up between short HIIT (especially for the 30 minutes), steady longer cardio in the form of TM running or steady step workouts, and all-out Cathe cardio like iMax and iMax2.

I don't really see any room in here for circuits. I am actually leaning more and more away from circuits except for the occastional Boot Camp "shock your body" kind of circuits where every aativity is all out and only 1 minute.

I'm with you all the way on keeping the leg weights to once a week and not to heavy. Looking for tone and style, here, not bulk }( }(

How's that for a whole lot of feedback? On all the weight days I would do the weights first for all-out best focus and add the cardio on after, to more see how you feel to help guage how much or which cardio you'll be doing. I think a steady diet of cardio helps burn calories, but mixing it up as much as possible keeps your metabolism guessing.

Coupled with 1200-1550 clean calories a day - you should be smokin', girl. The only thing you could do more than that is some calorie zig-zagging here and there if needs be.

That's a lot of feedback. Probably more than you asked for. Couldn't resist.

LoriGidget, I am laughing at your comment about weighing in on the scale and "not impressed." If only we could always be that emotionally healthy about the inevitable ups and downs! You're awesome! Glad you loved the shoes.

Isn't that funny, KPC makes me think of a Chinese Restaraunt in Germany when we do the stretching. My favorite Chinese Restaraunt played that song alot, on the end of the streatch I get hungry for Chines food.LOL! I am glad your DH can buy out his bad bp. How nice you are going off to the bay!!Have fun!

Teddygirl I don't know Tracy Stehl so I can't give you any input! Sorry! Are you doing the FF rotation on Saturday? I wish I could do it with you but I don't have CTX. I have to hold off a bit from buying DVD's. Hope you have fun doing it. I am not sure what rotation I'm going to do next month?

Gidget believe me you are doing really great on your weight loss. For me honestly I have 40 pounds to shed. I am not very proud.
After leaving Germany in 2004 and relocating to the US I went through a lot of problems. I couldn't run like I did in Germany, The heat here in El Paso almost killed me. I was'nt really good at working out alone at home either! What ever workout was easiest for me I did rather than working really hard. I started doing Cathe's rotations since Nov.06. and I really like it. I didn't loss a lot of weight this month, but I am hoping that next month will be better.



Today I did Cardio and Weight! Had a lot of fun!

Teddygirl, Im on the points program with WW. I signed up almost 3 weeks ago and in the last 2 weeks I lost 6 lbs. BUT when I weighed today I had 2 lbs back on...how that happened is beyond me. I am starting to realize that pregnancy weight isn't like normal weight and I really have to watch what I do when it comes to dieting and breastfeeding.Right now, breastfeeding is on the top of my list but I was atleast hoping to get to 135 lbs and then lose the rest after I stop breastfeeding. I think I can still be comfortable in my clothes at 135 lbs. Maybe there will be a big dip in the scales next week.

And whats up with all the candy in the stores? Last week it was Valentines and who can pass up all that freash chocolate? And this week I went and they already have the aisles lined off with Easter bunnies!x( x( I picked up a bag of whoppers and have been nibbling on them all week. But nothing that would sabotage my diet.

Cheryl, you think Im being funny, hey?:) Im just really having a hard time figuring this all out. I am eating less now then I did before when I weighed less. Now I am back to exercising plus making milk which burns 500 cals a day. So Im burning about 800 cals a day , not to mention just moving in general, eating less and the scale went up? I don't know. Im really starting to think this calorie in calorie out stuff is a bunch of crap a guy made up! Women have to starve to get where they want to be and then pick like a bird for the rest of their lives in order to stay that size:) I know thats not true but I certainly felt that way earlier on. AND THEN...when I finally come to my senses I have to tell myself how good I do look for only giving birth 7 weeks ago...but if I stay this size I can't tell myself that forever! Yeah, I look pretty good...I just had a baby 5 yrs ago:7

Anyway...not a whole lot going on here. DD has a sleepover to get ready for and Im not sure what we will be doing tonight. I think DH will want to go out for dinner.

LoriG- I wouldn't worry about the 2 lbs! It sounds more like water weight than anything. You are doing such a great job with the workouts and stuff that I wouldn't sweat it!
