:D :D Morning (again) Gang! So happy it’s a “Go to the Bay” Weekend! Sunny & 60’s so we’ll be outta here by 2pm.
I am always highly motivated to get my workouts done on bay day so I’ll be hitting KENPO early! Also have to do Legs/Back as it just never happened yesterday. I don’t mind doubles (or is it triples) w/ this combination. Yesterday I was just so dog tired from no sleep the night before & my muscles have been so fatigued this week that I really felt I would hurt myself if I attempted Legs/Back…. At least it was a conscious choice to take that extra rest day.

:D JANE: Congrats on your sweat-fest yesterday! And an extra happy day knowing that OT is off the table! WooHoo!

:D CHERYL: I am so happy you have found the nutritional breakdown of SP so helpful! It is enlightening isn’t it? I especially like the “fat” monitoring as I can get carried away with the “Its healthy fats” thing all to easily! Hope legs are burning this AM as you crank out GS Legs!

:D KALI: Welcome aboard! So nice to have yet another “faux ww’er!” The goals are all the same so as long as its healthy who cares! You sound like a workout junkie!!! Great job on doing “doubles” rotation! Is that the norm for you? I never seem to have enough PM determiniation to do that. I’ve seen your posts in the past so feel like we’ll all become fast friends! Have to chuckle on our WW name… I once thought that we should modify the name then I though OH NO…. The group would be about a ba-zillion people & I’d never have time to leave the computer or really get to know anyone.

:D AMER’s: WooHoo on the down.5!!!!!!! You are going to break out of any potential plateaus lurking around with The Monster! Thanks for sugar content info… I will put that new one on my list as soon as this “barrel” of Whey Protein is gone. Drinking 2-3 a day it does go fast tho! My current Whey is only 110 calories a scoop so I get to use it more often which I like for those “just not too hungry” meals. Lol & ROF as I read about the out of shirt comment! You are PRICELESS! Very very proud of you for keeping foot out of mouth about “activity”…. Lol. I wonder if your leader does an “Oh God” when she see’s you coming to participate in group activity….. lololol

Good Morning Everyone! Mind if I join????:) :) Weird day to join, usually weekends are out the window but I don't think I will be going to far on the weekends.

Im not doing WW but thought it would be nice to join a group. I had my baby 3 weeks ago, gained about 45 lbs, and have 18 to go. I have been stuck at 148 for the past week. I know with my first one it didn't take long to lose the weight but they say its harder with the second and I am starting to beleive it. Doesn't help that I gained more weight either! LOL
Plus, I need someone to talk to. My sister was here for almost a month and she left on Wed to go home. Needless to say I was broken hearted Wed evening and spent the whole evening crying. I guess it doesn't help that I am having broken sleep either and everything is a big dreal right now b/c I am so tired. So I have been doing better since Wed but I still feel lonely in the day time when I am home alone with the baby. It also sucks that it is winter here and i can't go very far with a 3 week old.
Anyway, I should go get some breakfast and start my day. Im not sure if I am working out today b/c my workout clothes don't fit and the one outfit that does fit is dirty. And I have to get some more support for my boobs! They felt like they weighed a ton yesterday! But I am sore from yesterdays workout! Feels good!!!!

Good Morning

I am so HAPPY it is Friday, :) :)

It's hard to believe January is coming to an end, time is flying :eek: x(

I got a good night rest, I’m really liking my new routine, up at 4:45, cup of coffee, back in my warm bed to watch the 5:00 o'clock news. Sometimes I even get up a clean a little imagine that :7

Workout this morning Legs & Glutes, & KM leg drills. Nice work huh! Legs is feeling it REAL GOOD. Okay, I must lower my weights when lifting my back has expand, and my thighs are larger.

I usually squat 45/50/60 lbs and for back 15/20 with barbell 45, biceps depending on the w/o 8/10/15 lbs. I don’t mind going heavy for bi’s and tri’s. Oh shoulder, wayyyy to heavy 20/25 my shoulders are getting to brawled. My next UB workout I’m going to reduce by 5 to10 lbs any feedback?

Tomorrow workout (((((guess)))) if you said Scrambled Eggs your right, followed by something haven’t figured that one out yet. Okay to work.

Happy Friday Ladies!!

Traci, I USED to be a workout junkie "used" being the key word here. Xmas 2005, I started gaining back what I lost. Not much, but slowly. Then we put in a pool and patio and spent the summer eating and drinking way too much. Then summer thru the past holiday season just got worse. I was working out but not giving it my all. Eating wasn't too bad, but not clean. This past week is actually my 1st week back. I've been eating super clean and working out 100% since Tuesday. No turning back now. I look forward to chatting w/ you guys.

Hi Lori! It'll be fun checking in again! Missed you! I'll try to lose that last 18 with you too!

We have a 2 hour delay due to the fact that it's 3 degrees so I got my workout in. I did LIC LB circuit. Felt great. Don't plan on anything else today except maybe some abs tonight.

How have things been? You don't need to lose 18 lbs unless something changed since I spoke with you last!
By the way, I just took my measurements. No wonder I can't fit into any of my old clothes yet! LOL I have 5 inches to lose around my waist and 4 inches in my hips. Prehaps its to soon to be taking measurements,..but I did it anyway! LOL

Hi everybody. I've been posting here off an on for about 2 weeks now and I've just GOT to commit now. I've been struggling OP. BADLY! HORRIBLE food choices and portions big enough to feed The Jolly Green Giant! YIKES Just one of those bouts that hit every 7-8 weeks for me. BUT....I will make today DAY 1 OP. I slept in, but got the kids to the bus and hit the basement for Cathe's Body Max 2. All of it. All 90+ minutes of it and I'm drenched. Time to shower!

Weekend plans anybody? Tonight is basketball for the boys. Tomorrow morning is swim lessons (I do laps during this) and tomorrow afternoon is DS's Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. We are reigning champs for 2 years and everybody's OUT TO GET US! LOL. Sunday is my fiance's DD's BDay party.

Weekend workouts are planned as well. Sunday is a training run of 4 easy miles and a nice LONG stretch...either Stretch X from P90X or Stretch Max. Sunday is going to be a circuit....thinking Drill Max.

Hi everyone....I am still alive. I have just been so busy, I will probably be checking in much more sporadically.

My WI was good this week!! Having the flu has it's benefits!! I lost 1 3/4 lbs. Now I am down to 141 1/4. My lowest ever. I hit this right after Christmas, and then started going back up. I cut my Points to 18, instead of 21. Somedays I am very active, but my mind is active more than my body. If I am physically active one day, I will go to 21, but for now, I am going to try 18 and see how that goes.

Great WI Amy!! A loss is a loss, I am happy for you!

Traci, I hope you have a great weekend by the Bay. Enjoy the sunshine. I wish we had some here in MI?? Can you believe I live in a state where it is cold & snowy??

K..I know a little bit about the points system but can someone tell me how many more points you need when you are breastfeeding? I know breastfeeding burns a extra 500 cals a day. I use to have the book home but I load it out to someone and they have moved...so I would imagine my book is gone to.
I could probably find out from a friend of mine as well. I don't even know how many cals I need when breastfeeding. I just eat when I am hungry and Im not normally that hungry. I got a feeling I am not eating enough food,.

Lori - I needed only about 300 extra calories per day for nursing, and like many, was never able to lose the last 5-7 pounds while I was nursing...

Traci - another Bay weekend! You lucky girl!!

Gayle - I know what you mean about the voracious appetite every 7-8 weeks. GLad you're feeling back in the swing of things again!

Teddygirl, did you go shopping last night?

I slept in this morning - DD has a school holiday - but am finaly up and ready to get going with GS Legs.

Our local Channel 2 will be coming out to my house this afternoon to interview me and my daughter again about internet filtering (we were on ABC world news in a segment that ran during the fall). This has to do with my client again. So I'll have to get cleaned up for the cameras by afternoon at least!

This won't be nearly the big deal the other one was since it's the local channel, not producers from NY directing the thing... should be fun.

Good Morning ladies!

Just a quick "co up for air" check in as I went to be about 4a! For those that just started with us, (Gayle, Kali, New Lori) I work nights on the weekends, so I stay up late on Thursday night and sleep all day Friday. I ususally don't check in until I get to work, then play catch up!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to our new faces!!! Like I've said before, we can all watch our weight without being official WWer's!!!

New Lori (I may have to call you Gidget because there's another Lori;-) )- I wish that I could tell you the point breakdown for nursing mothers with the new points system, but I just lent all my books to a co-worker. Welcome though, and I hope that you find what you are looking for here!!! Congratulations on the new baby! And the weight loss so far!!!

Traci- I am so bummed that you are leaving for the weekend! You mean we can't "talk" ALL weekend?????}( ;( I'm just kidding! I am glad that you are able to get away and I hope that you have a great time at the bay!! Congratulations on the new jeans, too!!! I am comfortably in my GAP reverse fit 12's now, although they sag in the seat a bit!!! I plan to hit GAP up when I am ready for the momentous occasion (drum roll please...)of *having* to buy 10's. I will even drag DH with me as I have NEVER fit into size 10 ANYTHING my entire life!!! I don't care WHAT the cut was!!!

Cheryl- I am so jealous of your Lucky's! I just don't have the dollars to spend on them, nor the luck with Ebay. I may, however, treat myself to a nice pair of jeans when I get to goal. We have a "jean boutique" here in town that I may have to hit up when I get there (and save up for the occasion.....I've got time to!) Great job on the protein.

Today is a weight day for this cardio junkie! I have the alarm set for 3 this afternoon and am going to do doubles.....that seems like the theme of the day, huh? Anyway, today's theme will be GS upper body. I just wasn't able to crank out Chest/Tris on Tuesday after Boot Camp and before the Monster assembly process, so it's on for today.

:+ Well I am back & happy to report that today’s workout (yesterdays) of Legs & Back & ARX for the LAST TIME! Is indeed completed…. I decided to do Kenpo tomorrow as we will be at bay and I won’t need the rest since I had it yesterday… May help to help me stay clean as Bay eating is always challenging!

:+ I gotta tell ya’ll that I am soooooo happy w/ results of P90X. The program is GENIUS and if people can breakthrough monotony of 12 weeks without too many modifications the results are incredible. My legs are by far the smallest and most cut I have ever seen in my life… including my few years as an instructor way back when. I actually cried this morning finishing with my legs workout as the cut was truly something I never dreamed possible with my body type. My mission next week (final recovery week) is to make a faux P90X rotation but keeping the methodology. Also I will FOREVER do a 7 day recovery week after every 3 week intensive. Amazing changes occur when you allow hard worked muscles to fully recover.

:+ I won’t get to chat again until Sunday late afternoon so first and foremost I hope each of you have wonderful – safe & laughter filled weekends.

:+ LORISAX: So happy to see you! Glad it’s just life craziness that has kept you away. I am truly filled with joy for you on reaching your lowest weight! It is such an amazing feeling to see the light in the 130 tunnel just ahead! You stay focused this weekend Lori… You are so close to that mental/physical breakthrough! ^^^5

:+ AMY: Hope work is good this weekend and that it doesn’t interfere with Monster time… if it does you may just have to find a new job! Lol You too are nearing a breakthrough with the sizes! Lolol Your story about sis made me cry. Mine are 2000 miles away and I so miss them. Trying to get my mom out here to Houston in Feb for her birthday. Usually I only see everyone about every 2 years as they don’t really believe that airplanes leave Bakersfield & head to Houston (my direction)….BTW: you can workout in the buff like Adam & eve did… just no plyo work ok?.... lololol
