Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's Day

Cathlete
I hope that you all have a happy Groundhogs Day!!! As I was recently instructed....May all your dens be warm and filled with greens!!!

I just wanted to let you all know that I will be thinking, dreaming, and praying for everyone today (while I sleep). Don't think that I have forgotten to check in!!!

Brussel sprouts are roasted, zucchini and summer squash are roasted as well, chicken breasts are baked (as long as the oven was on), peppers are sliced, salads are prepared, and protein shake mix is preportioned for the weekend. As you can see, it's been a busy weekend!!

Anyway, I emailed Ms. Reno tonight and can't wait because she says that she responds to each and every one of the emails she receives. I know that it will probably be awhile as she has some upcoming book tours (according to her website, that is). It will be interesting if she actually responds or just cut and pastes a canned response. I will let you all know when I find out!

Last night was BM2. I really like that workout! I need to preview BM1 before it's on the rotation next week. I have never done it because I've always been a bit scared of it. I am going to attempt Low Max later on the 8" step for the first time. I remember it was only a year ago when I started with Low Max that I could barely do it on the single step without ANY risers!!! My, how fitness levels have changed when you don't realize it!!! I feels like a little kid you used to babysit and then don't see for a long time. Then, all of the sudden, he's in high school! Well, not really, but you get my drift!

Anyway, enough of the rambling. I hope that you all have a good day and I will dream of you and check in from work tonight when I get a chance!

Morning gang... Whats the world coming to? Not one of my 4 calendars has Groundhog Day noted! Just not right that I almost missed the celebration! Thanks Amy....

Last day of P90X: Yoga X for 90 minutes.... Measurements tomorrow... Added in cardio yesterday as I said & not sure about today will see how the old bod feels. Happy to report Aliens have left the building!!! This is the start of my 7 days of feeling young & chipper & fearless! I LOVE THIS WEEK!

Jane {{{{{{{{{{{jane & Family}}}}}}}}}}}} My gosh I am just so sorry for this awful event yesterday! Thank God he had that belt on.... It is all so fleeting isn't it? I will be keeping all of you in my prayers and hoping for a full recovery. Thanks you for taking the time to let us know whats happening in your life!

Amy: I am soooooooo confused!:+ Why are we writing to Tosca? Who is Monica Brant & what is her book we are now checking out? I better go back & read Wednesday again...lololol
Congrats on BM2!!!! That sounds like a killer workout + you made it tougher. I am so excited to get into adding some of Cathes Feb stuff into my weight routine for March.! Awesome way to prep foods for the week girl! You are one serious chick! ME TOO! Feb is our month to have astounding results! I'll be doing BM2 on Saturday along with Chest, Shoulders & Abs.

Great day to all- off to re-read Wednesday so I can try & figure out what Amys post is about!:p :+ :7

Good Morning Ladies,

Just a quick check in before I hit the road. We are going to pick up my neice for the weekend so we have a 2 hour drive today. No big deal...maybe I can nap:)

I didnt get to check in yesterday b/c I had alot going on ad I didnt get to workout either. But my weight was down yesterday below 148. It was nice to see the number at 147.
I am hoping to get to workout later today if everything works out and Cathes Feb rotation looks pretty good. I may look over it again to see if I will have the time to do the workouts.

Anyway, I will check in later,
Lori:)

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Morning,

TGIF I said Thank God Its Friday…………Yeah!!!

My grand daughter is coming over this weekend Fun! Fun! She’s wonderful to have around :7

Last night, yep! I pushed out Butts & Guts babe! Then my sister called, she wanted me to go with her to the mall:7 We went to New York & Company, that was okay with me b/c I wanted to see these pants that they keep emailing me with coupon. I brought, in tan size XSmall they are knit so they stretch, and they’re wide legs that's the only way I could fit them. And I brought me a black sweat suit pants small, they look good showing my muscles in quads:D :D I’m going to take back the XS exchange for small. I was looking for smalls but they only had XS, so when I tried them on whatcha know,:7 I'm just not comfortable with XS nothingggggg, if you know what I mean.

This morning, I did Low Max, tonight abs afterwards bubble bathmax lol

((((((Tracie))))))) what can I say, what could I possibly say! you RULE babe girl! ((((((((((((EXCELLENT))))))))) absolutely astonishing results. Hold your head high:) ;) ;)

Amy, BM2, can't blame ya for being afraid of that workout, me too :-( :7 Work it girl, work it………gotta run :)

Hope everyone else is rock’in & roll’in this morning!

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Good Morning.....

Great results Traci, way to go!! I bet you are thrilled!!! I had P90X, but I sold it on Ebay. I did get good results when I did it, it just wasn't my style.

My dad had surgery again yesterday. This has been planned for awhile, they were going to do this first, but then felt he had to have his heart done first. He had bypasses put in his legs. He actually had one bypassed, and the other one, they replaced with a different kind of vein. I am sure Amy knows what I am taking about...it starts with an e....Anyway, he is doing good, and now my mother says he is the 'bionic man' and all brand-new. The nurse said his artery up by his left hip was one of the worst she has ever seen, it was like a 4" piece of bone, it was so calcified. So, I am glad all of this is behind him, and I just hope he can live the rest of his life without all of these problems.

I called the dr. yesterday about my arm. It is so sore...I have no idea what I did to it?? It hurts when I reach for something. They told me to wrap it for now, and if it is not better by Monday, to come in. It feels better today, but it is all swollen. I have had the wrap off for about 2 hours, and the swelling may have gone down some, but not much. This is crazy!!!

Well, I am off to do my workout, have a meeting for Premier, and then I am off to the hospital. Tomorrow I am working an Expo, and then to the hospital. I will try to check in sometime this weekend. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

TeddyGirl, I did Cardio Kicks yesterday, and thought of you. I see you did it also. I love that workout!!

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Tracie:
Now…don’t ……go…tripping……

I am not a size XS by knowwwwwww means. I wear a straight 6 in pants that’s as far as I’m going. I slipped on XS b/c the were wide legs and there are knit pants and knit stretches. And besides they are made pretty big. I looked at mediums me and sis was like huh! They looked big. But yes, I can wear a small in some stretchy clothing all depends how they’re made and who makes them.

My GK has always played around with my workout equipment my 2 year old love to step up and down on my stepper he looks so cute. Actually all 6 of them love to play with my equipment, so yep! I’m right there showing and explaining.

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Hi, everyone! I slept in a bit - was exhausted - actually even thought about taking today as a rest day, but I think now that I've slept in I can knock out Low Max, but will probably do it on the 6" step, not the 8" like Amy!!!

Nadia and I were on the local news last night. The segment came out great! Here's the link: http://kutv.com/homepage/local_story_032192845.html

If you play the little video segment on the right side of the page, that's it. Nadia and I are on towards the start of the segment and then they showed my client, ContentWatch.
The other funny thing - that room where they're taping me and Nadia is where I workout - the t.v. behind Nadia's shoulder is where I run my Cathe's :7 :7 :7

Now for just a few personals before I crawl off the bed...

AMY!!! What a gal, cooking healthy food a week in advance. You are a wonder. Let us know how you do with Low Max this morning, okay? I hope you get some good rest - and I am so glad you seem to be feeling much better today.

TRACI!!! Wow, on those stats! I hadn't realized how close we are to identical sized. No wonder you are so thrilled with P90X. To have lost that many bf% points and that many inches - I wouldn't be surprised if the actual fat loss was even twice as great as the number of net pounds you lost. Wow. That's all I can say. And it's fun to realize as I talk to you how close we actually are to identically sized :7

TEDDYGIRL, good job on your workouts last night and today! You've definitely earned that shopping trip tonight. Be sure to tell us what you find, okay???? Inquiring minds want to know.

LORI, wow, on the weight lost - good job!! Even with your life and busyness in the way, you are continuing to progress. So glad.

JANE, our prayers are with you. I'm sure the shock of the whole situation is continuing to set in, and I can't imagine how you must be feeling.

Good morning to Belinda, Lori, Gayle and all who follow -
Think about me plugging away through Low Max as you read this post (I'm doing it! I promise!) and I will check back in later.

Have a great morning, everyone!!
Cheryl

***** Personals******

Well after much thought I decided to do a new workout called CardioStack/CoreAttack. It’s a great Core Syn-ish/AbRipperX mix and I was sucking eggs doing these new moves. My core feels very tight now and I burned over 400cals so it’s a keeper!

Thanks to everyone for all your kind and enthusiastic words of praise… you guys are quite the cheerleaders & I thank you!

LORI****
Oh Lori I bet you are just so exhausted today from all the emotions! I hope you plan on doing some nice things for yourself this weekend to celebrate your dad’s new found health! About your arm… Is it possible you were bitten by something and that’s causing the major swelling? Don’t mess with it if you start to have dizziness or stomach gets queasy it could be an allergic reaction. Have a great weekend if we don’t see you!

TEDDYGIRL***
I don’t think I could get my thighs in an Extra small anything.. I stand by my “little” comment! Really fun weekend ahead for you hope it starts early!

CHERYL***
OMGosh- where to start? First the topic of the story was so amazing! I would be scared to death if I had kids! Your little Nadia is ADORABLE- she seems so mature & well spoken… I see her following in her moms PR footsteps! How fun to see you LIVE! I had the dumbest grin on my face! It is WAY COOL to see you in action but now I absolutely feel like I “KNOW” you! I think we should all make videos!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing that with us!
As for sleeping in…. That’s awesome! I think that’s twice in 30 days you got a little extra rest. I cracked up tho- no way that will keep you from staying on rotation track! You go girl!
YES we are similar in stature and good looks! ROFL- Oh I don’t think you said that last part but we are! LOLOL

JANE***
Keeping you in prayers today. Please let us know how things are progressing if you get a sec.

CLAUDE****
Hope your financials are done now and that the gymnastics stuff is a blast!

Kali** Belinda**Gayle** - Hope it’s a great Friday for ya so far!

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Hi everyone !

Jane - OMG!! What a scary thing to have happen! Prayers and {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to you and your family.

Traci - WOWSA!!! Those are fantastic results. Now I REALLY want to get my P90X rotation started. You may have mentioned this, but I'm out of the loop - did you use his supplements and recovery drink? I've never been a fan of such things so I'm not sure if I should even bother.

Teddygirl - have a great weekend with the GD! How old is she?

LoriS - so glad that your Dad is doing well after the surgery. Sending healing hugs to both you (take care of that arm!) and your dad.

Gidget - congrats on the loss - down is always good!

Cheryl - what a great segment! You look FANTASTIC!! We both had the same idea about sleeping in today - I"m working from home and decided to use the flexability to get a later start - felt great!

Amy - hope you're resting well and that work is quiet!

OK - now for a quick update. I finished the worst of my job work today (an hour ago, phew!). Things should get back to normal now - no more working weekends, etc. At least I hope not.

I just spent a bunch of money on Amazon - preordered the Harry Potter book - had to order two copies so DD and I won't fight over it. Ordered a door gym so I can do those pull ups with Tony, a new resistance band (mine snapped in half last week) and a couple of books just for fun. Can't wait until it all comes in.

I've been mixing up my workouts a bit more lately - doing half weights and half cardio on a daily basis instead of alternating weights and cardio. Still not crazy about circuits, so I'm doing thirty minutes on one or two body parts and then 30 min of cardio (more when I have the time). I want to get cardio in every day to blast this darn extra weight, but dont' want to give up any strength training. Hopefully, it will keep me moving in the right direction.

OK - I do actually have a bit more work work to do, so I'm off to finish it up.

Happy Friday everyone!!

Claude

Cheryl:
What’s up with you? other than melting away :p You are so focused, Nice! I was going *malling* tonight, too exchange a few items, but I decide to just go home plenty to do there x( and to, I didn’t get much sleep last night, I was to busy having fun at the mall with my sister :) ;)

Claude,
My precious little pumpkin that’s what I call her ever since she was a tiny baby, she’s 13 and so pretty. So, glad things are slowing down for you,:) I’m not a big fan of circuit workouts either to tell the truth I just started doing since I brought LIC and you know what, I like. You take care of yourself and have a nice weekend.

Tracie:
You crack me up! okay my friend stand by your *little* comment, one day I’ll have pictures and then you’ll see. You are just a sweetie pie, it's so good to have you as my friend ;)

This is when I start getting so sad, knowing I can not talk to you guys till Monday, I miss so much. Now a days seems like I only turn my computer on to play chess master or music :-(

I have a big workout schedule this weekend still trying to decide how to execute it. I’ll be doing Pure Strength BB & CST. Just finding it hard b/c I’m such a cardio freak. I hate going a day without my fix. I may break the PS UB into 2days verses one. Who knows, I just may wake up tomorrow feeling like Wonder Woman and do a cardio + both PS, wouldn't that be something;) :p :7

You guys have a wonderful weekend workout hard and eat clean, promise? well at least try x( Have Fun!

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Hi Girls!

What a lazy day! I slept on the drive but you know what a nap is like in a moving vechile...not good. Then at 1:30 we went for a nap. I can't say I feel alot better after the nap. I still feel like I have some catching up to do.
But I did get a workout in. I did 4 seg of HST and 5 min interval runs in place of the cardio. It was a good workout and took me about an hour to do.

Its 8 here and I feel so lazy! If my inlaws weren't comming for a visit I would have my jammies on.

Lori:)

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Hey everybody....

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers everyone, they are so appreciated. I did work today since DS was sleeping in more or less a drugged state all day. He has been in so much pain and they are doing the best they can trying to manage his pain. I received updates from DIL as the day went on. The plan was for DH and I to go and pick them up (he is at a hospital about 1 1/2 hours from us) late this afternoon since it was apparent he wasn't going to be released early in the day. We went down there when I got off work at 3 but they didn't let him go today. They did fit him for his back brace but he didn't wear it today because they wouldn't let him out of bed. I didn't realize it but they had ordered another x-ray view of his pelvis today and finally got it done this afternoon. After taking a second look at this pelvis x-rays, the radiologist wanted another view taken because of concern of a possible fracture. So they wouldn't let him up until that was done. It turned out he didn't have a pelvic fracture. He is, however, badly bruised in that area and really all over. DH went to see the truck today and was shocked. He said he really didn't see how he survived that accident the way the top of the cab was crushed in. I DO NOT want to see the truck. I think it would give me nightmares.

We just got home about 9:45 and it is 10:45 now and I'm exhausted. We are going to get him tomorrow, they are pretty sure he will be released. Just a little worried about how to get him home. I don't think he can sit for that ride back home.

I skimmed through the posts and will try to do personals later. Just wanted to say way to go Traci... you did so well!

Cheryl - I looked at your clip, what a great message and you and your daughter are beautiful! I agree with Traci, it was nice to see a live picture.

Thank you everyone else for your thoughts.... I'm so very tired now and am going to bed.

RE: Weight Watchers ***Friday*** Feb 2nd, Groundhog's D...

Hey, all!!!

Well, Low Max on the 8" step really wasn't bad!!! I don't know why I was so unsure/scared of it!! Anyway, it actually took me until interval 3 to really get my HR up into the 150's!!! I kept remembering a year ago when I was sucking wind on the 4" step and I wasn't even at interval 3 yet!!! Wow, how the fitness has changed!! I was even able to completely touch the step every time during Blast #7!!!

Traci- YOWZA!!! girl! Those stats are awesome!!! It's amazing just how big a difference a measly 6 lbs makes in your size and BF%!! That's just so exciting!!!

Cheryl- I guess that I was mis-informed about the Double Bridge Run, it's tomorrow, not next week. One of the nurses here is going to be doing it. I told here that I am planning on doing it next year with a friend from Utah and and a friend from Texas (Traci....). I couldn't watch the clip from work, but I will watch in the morning when I get home.

TG- Congrats on the XS pants!!! It's always nice to be able to get into the smaller sizes, no matter what the explanation is!!!

Lori- I am sorry about your arm. I hope that it feels better. I have to apologize, I forgot to ask DH about it. I am glad that your dad is doing well after his surgery. I know that blood flow and oxygen to the legs will make him feel MUCH better!!!

Belinda- HAPPY BIRTHDAY DS!!! I am glad that you were able to make it through Low Max, yes, it's surprising how much work it is and it really doesn't feel like it at first. I remember when I was too tired/winded to make it through interval 7, but tonight it felt great!!

Not much else going on. Glad to see you Claude! We miss you!

I hope that you all have a great evening!!!
