Good Morning:)

I feel pretty good today:) DS was up at 6:30 but fell back to sleep after he had some milk and I crawled back into bed for an hour or so! I feel alot better now!

I had a great time with the girls last night. I could have stayed out later but some of them had to go b/c their babies are smaller and still eat every 3 hours. We had a great laugh though and I had a couple of drinks...they were so yummy and i was not one bit worried about points or anything for that matter.

I am feeling my legs from yesterdays workout. I think today is just cardio and tomorrow will be PH and cardio. Im gonna run out soon to get some things I need for dinner tonight and then Im gonna start my workout.

My workout this moring is IMAX 1, plus S & H Chest in the afternoon and in the evening I will add yoga to end the day!

Good Morning Girls!

TGIF! Im going to wait until tommorrow to WI cause the seventh is my measurement day anyway! Besides I did PowerHour thursday and I know I'am up a couple of pounds! I also ate a smart ones for dinner last night so Im sure the sodium has made me swell up too!x(

Lori-Glad to hear you had a good time with your night out with the girls! I love it when I get some extra sleep in the morning,happened twice this week!

Belinda-You've got a great workout lined up for today! What Yoga workout do you do? I recently purchased one on ebay,w/Suzanne Deason,haven't done it yet! Maybe on my rest day,Sunday! I really don't know anything about Yoga,whats some good instructors? I wish Cathe would make a yoga workout!

Mary-I hope you didn't fall ill agian:-(,how are things in the Zone?

Amelia I have Gentle Yoga from Gaiam with Suzanne Deason!:D Target sold it a few month ago for 6 or 7 $:D It is only 35 min. long. I am looking for a 45 min. yoga DVD!!

This morning I was tired. Tempted to take a rest day, but instead worked out just one hour - GS Chest plus 1/2 of Step Fit. Will have to finish up with GS Tri's before my long run tomorrow a.m. That's okay. It's shaping up to be a good workout week.

!Hola Chicas!

I took me a while to finally drag my butt out of bed today!!! I have been off since July 4th and don't go back to work until Monday!! Yippee!!

I weighed in today and I only lost .2 pounds! x( x( What is that on a scale of tenths if 16 ounces is a pound that is like 3 ounces!!! Anyway, it is better than a gain. ;-)

Today was Cardio & Weights for me. I had to stop rewind a lot to learn the step routines. I took my time and learned the warm up and the first whole combo of cardio and wieghts and started learning the second cardio combo. That took almost an hour b/c I kept running through the warm up and first combo like 4 times. I guess it will be like each time I learn a new step routine. :-( I am trying to be patient. If anyone has suggestions on how to learn them faster I would love to hear.

Lori- Glad you got extra sleep today. Also, I am glad that you had fun with the girls. My friends come over on the 4th and introduced me to this new drink. If you get a chance try it. It is call a Barcardi Mojita. It is like a cooler. You pour it in a glass over a fresh mint leaf. It tastes wonderful!!

Belinda- Wow!!! Sounds like good workouts today. I am trying to build myself up to doing more than an hour workout. I can do it if I break it up and do one in the am and one in the pm but I am not consistent.

Amelia- Your WI will be fine! Look more toward the measurements. They are a better indicator of your acoomplishments. Yes my calves were sill were still soar when I got out of bed but they stopped after the first time I went through the C&W warm up.

Cheryl- I heard that I should look into getting some of Cathe's older step workouts to help with the newer ones. I am doing okay as long as I learn them combo by combo. Do you think it would be worth it for me to get the older ones like Step Fit?? Good workout!!

Hi Gals,

Still no workout here:-( But I am doing everything else I need to get done before company comes later, so hopefully I will be able to get on the TM within the next hour or so. Not to mention that DS went down almost 3 hours ago! and is still sleeping!

I weighed after I checked in and I was down 1 lbs. How weird is that? Eat deep fried food, and drinks the night before and in the morning I weigh less:eek: ?

Amelia, I think I am going to have another nap tomorrow morning! I am already planning it! LOL Its hard though b/c I get up to feed him and then I wake myself. It took me a few mins to get back to sleep but I did eventually!

Cheryl, good job on the workout. I have had a few days lately where I wanted to rest instead of workout.Its so tempting sometimes!

Belinda, sounds like you are on a roll today! Already have your workout done and Im only thinking about doing mine! hahaha

Kim, your right...any loss is better then a gain? I always find with cathe workouts that she always throws in something you know and eventually, after you get all the moves down, it won't take that long for you to catch on.

Alright...gotta go finish tidying up. After I feed the babe I will start my workout. Im not sure how much I will get done though with him awake!

I'm really liking some of the older Cathe cardios for variety. I like Cardio Hits- especially Step works, but PowerMax and Step Fit are also fun.

I have Classics too, but haven't popped it out in awhile so maybe that's a sign that Cardio Hits is the better one to get. It shows up on eBay and the YaYa swap here and there for a pretty good price.

I also like MIC, which is on the Rhythmic Step DVD and is kind of in that same cateogory.

Lori, good luck getting that workout in! I think your weight may be weird because breastfeeding is such a wildcard factor. So I wouldn't stress it. Hey, I'd take 1 lb down any way I could get it! }(

Thanks Cheryl! I may invest in that one. I hav most of Cathe's newer ones; but, I just never had the patience to learn the step combos. I have mainly stuck to the weights. I will look for Cardio Hits on ebay!

Belinda, I meant to suggest Crunch Candlelight Yoga w/Sara Ivanhoe as a good yoga workout. It is good to unwind after a long day. VERY relaxing!! Also any Shiva Rea (except Yoga Trance Dance) would be excellent. I just got her new one Fluid Power and I love that. You get several hours of yoga practice for all different levels

Belinda, woo hoo on Cardio Hits!! You'll have to try Step Works first and tell me if you think its as much fun as I do. Of the two, I'm glad you got Cardio Hits. I just looked at Classics again. Maybe if it comes up really cheap on eBay or if you really, really like Cardio Hits and want more variety of the same eventually it would be worth having too... but quite honestly I'm not even remembering what those are like right now.

Lori, heyy, I'd take the 4 miles. Good job, girlfriend!

Cheryl, Step Works and Step Fit come up very often in Cathe's rotations!! I am pretty sure I will like it! I have not done a Cathe DVD that I didn't like:D I check e-bay every day and don't see any latly!!I also want the high step! Put the S & H is 14 $!!! I am not sure if the high step ( with DVD's)in Target has premixes on it!!! My last step I bought came with 3 DVD's put no premixes!!

Kim no premixes on the High Step Circuit DVD! x( ;)

I will oder the High Step in Target! The DVD alone is 24.99 $, I end up paying on 25 $ for the step!! Not bad!!

Belinda, Kim, I finally broke down just two months ago and bought the high step topper from Cathe.com. I never saw one come up on eBay. I was so glad I got it. I'd been struggling along with either my old Firm wooden step or my whole big step for Boot Camp, GS Legs, B&G etc., and using the high step is soooo much nicer!

You won't regret it. I do so few circuits, though, that I ended up selling my High step Challenge and HS Training DVDs on eBay. I only do a circuit once a week, at most, so didn't need them.

I do still have one high step circuit on Hardcore Extreme and that's the one workout on that DVD I haven't yet tried ;)
