Weight Watchers - Advice

Rhonda: If you are really comfortable with the computer, I'd go with online. If you prefer a book/paper method, do their at home program. Either way, I don't think it is necessary to go to the meetings, although some people swear by it...it just is an individual choice. I have lost 17 lbs so far, never been to a meeting. HOwever, some benefit from that comraderie...

As you many have noticed, we changed the way Activity POINTS values are swapped on the Web site with the launch of FlexPoints. Because many of us exercise vigorously on one day and rest on the next, the Web site will now allow you to swap as many Activity POINTS as you’ve earned into Foods POINTS for the amount that you exceed your POINTS Target on that given day.

However, Weight Watchers follows the recommendations of the American College of Sports Medicine which means that we recommends not earning more than an average of 4 Activity POINTS per day (or 28 Activity POINTS per week) to reduce the risk of over-use injuries.

If you are earning more than an average of 4 Activity POINTS per day (28 Activity POINTS per week), we recommend that you be under the supervision of an exercise specialist.

. . . . . . . . . .

I think this explains it ...stay with 4 if you want to reduce injury as for me I use all my ap's which average about 6-8 using Cathe's tapes, I think I'm educated enough to protect myself from overuse and injury
